Fashion / Check Out The Shirt That Can Never Stain by balenium: 9:02am On Dec 27, 2013
A student has invented a top that
can resist any spills and
splashes including Coca-Cola,
tomato ketchup, mustard,
milkshakes, beer, ink and even
red wine. The clothing is made
from polyester, which has been
infused with a combination of
chemicals that make it
resistant to water. Despite this,
the T-shirts are said to feel ‘no
different to any other items that
could be found in a
clothing shop.’
University student Patel from
San Francisco made a prototype
using a spray-on chemical, but
realised it would only last for one
wash. He then began looking at
ways to incorporate the technology
into the fabric.
He created a fabric that has
the nanotechnology bonded to the
fibres on a microscopic
level.
This means that they won’t irritate
the skin.
According to Patel:
‘Most liquid molecules will not be
able to touch the fabric because of
a microscopic layer of air that
forms between the liquid and
fabric.
‘This is because the fabric is
layered with billions of silica
particles. Water based liquids
will form a 150 degree sphere
and roll right off! As a result,
this barrier protects your shirt
from potential accidents.’
After testing his method, the
business student created a
page about the invention,
named Silic, on crowd funding
website Kickstarter.
He has already exceeded his
target of around $20,000
(£12,250), before the campaign
closes on 26th of January. The
shirts
are expected to be on sale
online from May and will cost
around £30. According to
Patel’s Kickstarter page , there
are certain steps wearers have to
take to make sure the T-shirts
stays waterproof.
These include not using fabric
softener in a machine wash, no
bleaching or washing with
colours and no ironing.
Patel also advises wearers not to
dry clean the shirt.
To reactivate the water
repellency, the T-shirt must
also be put through a tumble
dryer on a low heat at least
once every three washes.
Patel said:
‘I started the project a year and a
half ago after looking at making
smart clothing.
‘I wanted to try something
different and I had heard about
Hydrophobic spray, which is a
spray that is
completely water resistant.
‘I thought about putting it on
a T-shirt but when I was
making a prototype after a
while I became very light
headed and I realised it may
not be safe to use.
‘I also realised that if I were to
put this on clothing, it would
wear off after just one wash so it
wouldn’t be sustainable.
‘To make it safe and last
longer, I put the technology
into the polyester of the T-shirt
while it was being made on a
nanoscale, molecular level.
“The T-shirts we have now are
completely safe and will last
for up to 80 washes, so you get
around about two year’s worth of
wear out of it.’
Kudos to you bro... Good idea to
those set of people that like
getting dirty. Order for yours today

Computers / Christmas Offer: How To Unlock All Huawei Modems Without For Free by balenium: 5:01pm On Dec 21, 2013
I guess this is the first trick I'll
post on How to unlock a modem.
Though this tutorial is 100%
working but
the process does not work for the
recent Huawei modems the
Network
service providers make available
for sales.
Although there are ways to unlock
the stubborn Huawei modems such
as
the E303 series, but it usually
requires using the services of
unlock softwares such as DC
unlocker which
of course is not a free software.
In this post, I’ll show you on
how you can unlock any huawei
modem without paying (cost
effective).
Follow the steps carefully to
successfully unlock your Huawei
modem.
Steps To Unlock All Stubborn
Huawei Modems Without Paying
For Unlock Credits
1. Click Here to visit the website
where you would generate the
unlock
code.
2. When the page loads, click on
the
Google plus icon to login with your
Google plus account (You must
have
a functional G+ account to use
this
service). If you are using the
calculator First time it will ask you
to Accept Terms and Condition
click on
“I Accept ” and proceed.
3. Once you log in, type in your
Modem’s IMEI number (you'll find
the numbers at the back of your
modem) and Model
series in the appropriate form
boxes
provided and click on
“Calculate“.
4. The Unlock code would be
generate but won’t be visible till
you
click on the +1 button to share the
page. Sharing the page on G+
using
the button reveals the Unlock
code to unlock your huawei
modem.
5. The code generate would look
like this
Model No. :- E303s-1
IMEI :- 834548010418202
NEW ALGO CODE :- 88028383
OLD ALGO CODE :- 35410271
FLASH CODE :- 94602058
Copy the codes generated to
notepad. The problem you'll
encounter is knowing the
particular code you are
to unlock the modem with. But not
to
worry, Click Here and insert your
modem’s IMEI number then click
on “Submit IMEI“.
This would help you
determine which of the codes
would unlock your modem.
If it loads a result as “Please
Proceed
To Huawei New Algorithm!” then
the NEW ALGO CODE generated by
the unlocker is your modem’s
unlock code, else if you get
“Please Proceed
To Huawei Old Algorithm!“ , then
the OLD ALGO CODE generated is
what you need to unlock your
Huawei modem, you get it?
6. Now insert an alien sim
(SIM not supported on your
huawei modem) for example: if
your modem is made from etisalat,
insert either Airtel, Glo or MTN sim
into the
modem and insert it to your
computer, you will receive a
dialogue box pop up asking for
your modem’s unlock PIN,input the
NEW or OLD ALGO CODE generate
as your
case may be and click on the
UNLOCK button provided.
Finally, you've successfully unlock
your modem! 'Badt sharp guy' You
just unlocked
your Huawei modem without
paying a dime.
Please do not be stingy cos you
didn't pay for me to teach you this
tutorial which some people earn a
leaving from unlocking modems...

friends on Facebook, Twitter,
Google Plus, and your email list

Phones / How To Easily Unsubscribe From Annoying Emails by balenium: 4:53pm On Dec 21, 2013

receiving emails from a particular
website you no longer want in your

Phones / How To Protect Your Android Phone From Malware by balenium: 3:57pm On Dec 20, 2013
The rate of people using android
device now is very alarming. The
open-source operating system that
is led by Google is now found on
more than
half of all smartphones. In fact,
research firm
Strategy Analytics found that 81.3
percent, or
204.4 million, of smartphones
shipped in the
third quarter of 2013 were
powered by
Android. *wow*
This massive user base has caught
the
attention of cybercriminals, who
have begun
to double down on their efforts to
illegally
obtain personal information from
Android users. One of most
important things that can happen
with Android is privacy invasion.
Mobile malware can allow
cybercriminals to
intercept messages, monitor calls,
steal
personal information, and even
listen in with
the device's microphone.
Perhaps even more troubling is
that
cybercriminals are now coming up
with more
complex ways to attack mobile
devices, most
of which are not protected.
While antivirus apps can help
secure your
device, there are other steps that
can be
taken to better protect yourself
from
encountering mobile malware.
Legitimate app stores
When downloading apps it's
imperative that
you only do so from a legitimate
app store;
that means from companies like
Google,
Amazon, Samsung, or another
major
manufacturer or carrier.
These marketplaces are monitored
and
scanned for potentially dangerous
or
fraudulent programs. On occasion,
however,
malicious apps sometimes slip
through the
cracks, often disguised as
legitimate ones.
A fake BBM app recently appeared
in the
Google Play store and managed to
secure
more than 100,000 downloads
before being
removed. The app itself was
nothing more
than a spamming service.
Suspicious apps
The fake BBM app is a great
example. While
anyone who actually read the
reviews
wouldn't have downloaded it,
thousands of
users did. One of the best
defenses against
malware is to notice things like
suspicious
apps with outrageous promises,
bad reviews,
and sketchy app permissions.
Pirated apps
Taking a legitimate Android
application package (APK)
file and binding it with a
malicious program
is a relatively simple process.
Most pirated or cracked apps
usually contain
some form of malware.
Settings
Google includes numerous settings
in the
Android operating system that can
prevent
malicious attacks. Devices running
Android
4.2 or higher have access to
Google's
malware scanner. This can be
enabled by
going to Settings, clicking on
Security, and
checking the "Verify apps" box.
Prior to installing an application
you downloaded
outside of the Play store, Google
will scan the app and warn you of
any potential
threats.
Devices running Android 4.2 or
higher are
also protected from premium SMS
charges. A
notification will alert you if an app
is
attempting to send a text message
using a
premium service, at which point
you can
approve or deny the transaction.
This feature
is built directly into the operating
system
and does not need to be enabled.
Software updates
While this may not be an option
for most
users, if there is an update for
your device
make sure you download and
install it.
Manufacturers, carriers, and
Google are
constantly pushing out updates
with bug
fixes, enhancements, and new
features that
can make your device more secure.
To check for an update on stock
Android go
to Settings, click on the "About
phone" or
"About tablet" option, and select
System
Updates.
Antivirus apps
The Google Play store is also home
to
hundreds of antivirus apps that
can offer an
extra layer of protection. Finding
the right
one, however, can sometimes be
difficult. A
simple "antivirus" search in the
store yields
more than 250 results. So which
one should
you choose?
Companies like Avast , AVG,
BitDefender ,
Kaspersky, Sophos , Symantec
(Norton ), and
TrendMicro have long and
established
histories as some of the most
trusted brands
in the industry.
Earlier this
year, AV-Test, an independent IT
security
institute that ranks antivirus apps
based on
protection and usability, rated
TrustGo and
Lookout as the top two antivirus
programs on
the Android platform.
Each security provider I mentioned
above
scored higher than average for
protection
against malware , with most
detecting
malicious apps more than 99
percent of the
time. Any of these programs would
be a safe
and smart option for your
smartphone or
tablet.
Many of these companies also offer
additional features for a small
monthly fee.
These include things like anti-theft
protection, safer Web browsing,
device
tracking, remote wiping, and more.
It should
be noted, however, that Google's
Android
Device Manager offers similar
functionality
for locating a lost or stolen device.
The tool
can be accessed online or through
a free app
on the Play store.
