Coronabirus: That's why foul is always in ur talk because u say what u don't know. Using Arabic letters to write is different from speaking Arabic. Nobody imposed Arabic or Islam on Northerners, the religion was brought by traders many centuries. Arabic letters were used for correspondence in native language. Those years Kanuri, Hausa, Fulani used the same Arabic letters in their native languages which can be read by all the tribes but can't be understood by non native speakers. Noted sir! |

Romance › Re: Why It Is Wrong For An African/nigerian Man To Kneel Down And Propose To A Lady by Balismatic(m): 12:59pm On Oct 27, 2020 |
Mrscarter: If my man knelt to propose to me I would kneel down to his level face to face and give him my answer. I dnt see the fuss in kneeling. I think it's more romantic if you're cuddling on the couch n he pops the question or if we are kissing n cuddling or sumn and he asks me or I wake up in the morning n he kisses me n asks me. I will prefer that anyday. Also no big fancy weddings n wasting tons of money. Something small n personal n romantic with close family n friends. Also I dnt want no mansion n riches from him I prefer just him n I and have our children n a cosy nice little home n just a happy life full of love n laughter. Those are things that matter to me I fancy you It seems you have the wife materials But I need to know |

HRHQueenPhil: because 51 percent of Nigerians are Muslim and their language is arabic. Arabic is not the native language of the Nigerian muslims. they recite arabic in worship only. do they speak arabic in their homes and communities? |

FriendNG: Likewise arab traders taught Hausas arabic alphabet and how to write Hausa using it, a thousand years before colonialism. Good one, ENGLISH and ARAB are borrowed languages. it is not a credit to christianity that we speak English in Nigeria but by colonialism and not by religious line |
Politics › Re: Why Is Arabic On Most Nigeria Symbols by Balismatic(m): 11:44am On Oct 27, 2020 |
Coronabirus: Why you people are very ignorant about history? 500years before Usman Danfodio was born there was Islam in Nigeria. I didn't say North was using Arabic, North was using Arabic letters to communicate in their native languages. Can u tell me which state uses English as their native language? Going by your submission, if the north were using ARABIC letters in their native language, that means we ought to have ARABIC speaking native and indegins of the northern Nigeria such as igbo, yoruba and hausa. Now, why is HAUSA language wildly spoken in the north instead of ARABIC?. i tell you sir, English is not the religious languge of christians. We speak English by colonialism. Greek, latin and Aramic are original languages of the christian, by translation we speak curtesy of colonialism. That means, we worship God in our native languages. The Bible is translated to all native languages in the world. Now Arabic is imposed on islamic religion. |

MICHEALADEX: But you also have English letters which stands for the british letters. No sir, ENGLISH LANGUAGE is not the language of christians. It should eigther be greek, aramic or latin. Colonialism brought ENGLISH LANGUAGE to Nigeria. |

Coronabirus: And why should one idiot come and imposed English language on us too? Northerners were using Arabic letters (Ajami) to write centuries before Lord Lugard come and give us nonsense colonial language. Which kind of hypocritical secular state do u mean? We accepted everything from u and abandon ours for peace sake now u're telling us secular state, they gave u religion in English and make our country English speaking and u think we're dumb to ignore it? Most Muslim Northerners can read Arabic! There are about 525 native languages spoken in Nigeria excluding arabic. The nothern Nigeria is a hausa, fulani and kanuri speaking people. Arab was introduce into the north through the religion jihad of utman danfodio. Now tell me the state presently in Nigeria where arabic is their native and indegenous language. dont be blinded by religion celebrate your cultural heritage |

Kneeling to propose to a lady is simply a dramatic display of what they see or heard as a result of peer pressure and bandwagon.. And dont forget its usually makes a good video on social media platform...Ooh that exciting feelings of likes and following. Nothing more to it , it is a recent trend not so much regarded some years back |

HRHQueenPhil: because 51 percent of Nigerians are Muslim and their language is arabic. No sir/ma. The expression of arabic is only contained in islam, a religion. This is not same as an indigenous language wildly spoken. Again muslims in Nigeria dont speak arab to one another but only recite it solely in worship. |
