Ebenezer Remilekun Aremu Olasupo Obey-Fabiyi, popularly known as Chief Ebenezer Obey, has advised young musicians to be determined and committed to the profession.

Obey made this statement in an interview with HipTV, where he spoke on his long serving music accompaniments.

He said he has been in music for over 60 years now as he started in 1957 without his own instrument, and he struggled for everything he's now as he had nobody then to support him.

He said: "I've been in music now for over 60 years, I started my first band in the year 1957. My experience from the beginning.

"I have to struggle at the beginning because it wasn't easy at the beginning. Everything man wants to start may not be easy, so for me I worked hard, I struggled before God answered by prayers. I'm a very prayerful person, I believe so much in God, and that has been the most important thing that has sustained my consistency and to be relevant from that time even till now.

"At the beginning I faced challenges, I didn't have instrument, I have to struggle for everything, I struggled for everything."

Nigerian celebrity fashion stylist and entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani, has been accused of snatching someone's husband.

Toyin, who on Valentine’s Day, 14th February, 2021, got engaged to her photographer lover, Segun Adebayo Druce, has been drawn into a mess as her loverman is a married man.

The mother of two has been accused by TunezMedia of stealing another woman’s man, in a series of post on thier Instagram handle.

TunezMedia stated that Segun Adebayo Druce is a married man, blessed with 2 wonderful kids and 17th of February, 2021, will make it 6 years that he got married to his wife, Edel.

TunezMedia wrote: "Segun Adebayo Druce is a married man and he is blessed with 2 wonderful kids.

Segun has also been alleged to have left his wife with a baby that's barely 6 months.

A Nigerian actor, Victor Decker, is died. He died in his Abuja apartment yesterday evening at the age of 72 years,

The news of his death was revealed by his daughter through her social media handle on Tuesday.

The Mayor of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Abuja, Jesse Nazareth, confirmed the news and said that his neighbour had to breakdown his apartment door before they could have access to his decomposing lifeless body.

Nazareth explained that though several hospitals rejected the decomposing body of the late actor, but it was eventually accepted by a private hospital in Bwari, Abuja, and the body has been embalmed.

Decker became popular after he featured in films like Double Strings, If I am President, Lotanna, and Sons of the Caliphate.

Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar in the film industry, has sent gratitude to his legion of fans as he celebrates 52 years in the film industry.

Bachchan fondly remembered the day he signed his debut film, Saat Hindustani, in 1969. “Aaj hi ke din film industry mein pravesh kiya tha… Feb 15, 1969 .. 52 years !! aabhaar,” Bachchan tweeted in reply to a follower’s post that celebrated his over five-decade long journey in the movies.

Bachchan had, three years ago on the same date, shared with fans that he signed Saat Hindustani the day he arrived in Mumbai. he tweeted at the time: “49 years ago I came to the city of dreams and signed my first film .. 'Saat Hindustani’ on Feb 15, 1969.”

The 78-year-old actor also reflected on the landmark date in his blog post, where he wrote that the date became special only because his fans, whom he calls “extended family”, remembered and celebrated it.

“As the night slips into the next day… it slips into the gap of 52 years of my commencement in the film world… a chapter that the very effective concerned and loving Ef remember and portray through their wishes and communications and artistic representations,” the actor wrote.

“It is most alluring to see and hear and read what they gift .. had they not it would have been just another day, one that was spent in the struggle of life.”

Saat Hindustani, written and directed by Khwaja Ahmed Abbas, was an action drama about seven Indians, who fight to liberate Goa from the Portuguese colonial rule. The major cast also included Utpal Dutt, AK Hangal and Anwar Ali. Saat Hindustani was released in November 1969, marking Bachchan’s arrival on the big screen.

Bachchan faced obstacles in his movie career with the release of Bombay to Goa in 1972 after an acceptable performance in Anad, a movie produced by Hrishikesh Mukherjee in 1971.

But the career took turn with the release of Prakash Mehra’s Zanjeer in 1973, which was not only a huge success at the box-office but also established Bachchan’s image as an angry young man, one that holds a strong recall value even four decades later.

Bachchan remains the biggest figure in the Hindi film industry through his ability reinvent according to the times and his diligence.

The actor dominated the Indian film industry across all genres till early ’90s, and only slow down when young actors sprang up to showcase their talents.

US Rap star, Jameon Davis, popularly known as Ketchy The Great, is dead.

The rapper is best known for his work with the rap group 'Stinc Team' led by Drakeo The Ruler.

Drakeo confirmed the tragic news as he paid a tribute to the rapper on his Twitter handle, he wrote: "Long live Ketchy The Great. "

He revealed the cause of his death that Ketchy was hit by a car, he said: "NIGGAS DID NOT KILL THE HOMIE HE GOT HIT BY A RANDOM PEDESTRIAN STOP CLAIMING BODIES THAT'S NOT YOURS THE SCORE WILL NEVER BEEN EVEN."

Rapper Biz Markie also paid tribute with a post on Twitter: "RIP Ketchy the Great. One of the brightest LA talents of the last five years.

"A ball of 1000 watt voltage with a razor blade growl, who never failed to steal a track... whose promise was first undercut by the DA plot to persecute the Stinc Team, & now this. An unspeakable loss."

Ketchy rose to fame as part of the underground rap scene in Los Angeles.

As well as releasing songs with the Stinc Team. Ketchy was also a solo artist in his own right.

His debut track If I Go Broke was released at the end of 2017.

In 2018, his faced an obstacle in his career when he was arrested for painting graffiti while filming the music video for his song with Ralfy the Plug, 'The Right Decision'.

The group 'Stinc Team' had been labelled a gang by prosecutors in Los Angeles, and on that Ketchy was charged with vandalism with a gang enhancement and witness intimidation with gang enhancement.

He spent almost three years in prison before being released.

After his release, Ketchy granted an interview on PALMCAST, where he admitted that his music only really started to take off while he was in prison.

He said: "When I went to jail... I had a couple songs that started takin' off.

"So while I'm in there, it's just motherf*****s comin' up to me like, 'Yo you're Ketchy the Great, I f**k with your s**t.'

"It's crazy ‘cause when I was on the streets.... [no one was] really coming up to me, noticing me, or recognising me.

"But once I was in the county and I was sittin' down for like six, seven months, everybody who's comin’ in that motherf****r’s like 'Hey Ketchy, yo Ketchy, sign my cup!'

"And I'm like damn, I'm signing my first f****ng' autographs in the county."

Ketchy went back to work, after being out of prison, to put out a video for his new song “Another One", he also put out a song called “Gang Enhancement".

He appeared on Drakeo’s new mixtape "We Know the Truth", and just days ago, a new Drakeo and Ketchy's song called “For Real” was released.

However, Meurer has expressed her appreciation for Mr. Churchill's post, and wrote: "Aww thank you so much. I appreciate you always. We thank God and I’ve never doubted you."

In an additional post, Mr. Churchill talked about her and their relationship which she acknowledged.
