If you allow any system to operate like NNPCL has operated(corruption ladened) for 40 years, it becomes bigger than the state and they create a way to beat the system always. Currently, NNPCL is bigger than the state looking at the kind of power the petroleum industry bills gave them.

You can see that CIA is bigger than any US president because of the way they have operated overtime - they don't take instructions from the president...as their operation predate any president and outlast them in office, so they can't tell them what to do. They have their template.

In one fold, they're asked to supply crude to Dangote, in another, they're trying to export. Why? This is where they can take that crude out and refine to bring back and still sell at a higher rate.

They won't back down. They're fighting back. We read one NNPCL oil well caught fire yesterday. This is an attempt not to supply crude to Dangote.

Dangote has told everyone that cares to listen to come to his refinery and confirm the sulphur content.

They should show us their own laboratory where they test to confirm sulphur content and stop using anonymous sources to do their hatchet job.

If that's the case, why's Dangote getting orders from America and Europe? You think those ones would compromise?

I can't trust NNPCL. We can't have an order for them to sell crude to Dangote in Naira last week and we have fire outbreaks in one of their wells this week.

They're good at doing everything bad to maintain their corruption.

When there's corruption in subsidy regime and they couldn't tackle the corruption, the next thing is to remove the subsidy.

You're not having 24hrs electricity supply, you're not exporting, but import everything and do not also have a robust manufacturing sector, you devalue your currency.
