It would have reduced their spending, and end-price of the commodity to consumers, pending when they would be able to establish more refineries to create competition if that is their aim (as they are trying to make us to see).

The plan is, give them a window to end Hamas in weeks, then end it quickly. But it is obvious that isn't working and it's taking Israel 9 months to even declare victory and the axis of resistance is increasing by the day, and international condemnation alongside protest from their own countries is what they're trying to manage.

Petrol is cheap to buy and import from Malta because most oil companies are aware that it's cheaper to refine and produce Petroleum products in Malta.

If it gets expensive tomorrow, Petrol importers and refiners will go elsewhere. Watch out for Venezuela in few months time.
