SenoritaCristo:
okay....let me RE-EXPLAIN my EXPLANATION.

You were concerned about original certificate of Origin.....and I said I don't know if its accepted or not. Notwithstanding, I advised that if its possible for you to get the original from your local govt, that will be great cos you might still need it for other things......like for the file in your department, bursary, scholarships, possibly NYSC etc.

I also said for documents required for screening, it will be best for freshers that has been cleared here to answer that because am not a fresher and so I really don't know the current process.

But as you have asked me to list some documents, i can only list those I submitted as a freshers....they are:

Waec result,
jamb result,
post utme result (you didn't do this )
admission letter,
clearance letter/certificate
certificate of origin
birth certificate

thats all I can remember now.

NB: processes I used are not the same as this years'....so I still say freshers that have been cleared will be your best informants/advisers now.
God bless you.

HealthI Am Depressed. I Am Tired Of My Brown Stained Teeth by bamadino(op): 11:09pm On Sep 26, 2016
Ever since I have come of age, I have always been aware of a stigma, my brown teeth.
It has hindered many things in my life, stopped me from getting some things..
They say be a man, be confident.. But how can that be? When at any slight conversation , u feel your teeth is being looked at..
This stigma is the major reason why I never enjoyed primary and secondary school. I was the assistant head boy in my primary school but never got featured in any of their video productions. Secondary school was worst, I remembered a girl I admire telling my friends to advise me on brushing my teeth.that day was one of the saddest days of my life.
Now I am in my first year in the University and I am feeling the pang . I want to be able to talk without being timid , oh Lord! I have ideas, I want to be able to express them..
I have applied steps like brushing 3 times a day with a hard brush, lime and baking powder, banana peels all to no avail, would have gone for the whitening kits but not financially stable to purchase those luxuries.. The last attempt I made was when I went to my school dentist center recently , missed lectures, the dentist said, it was caused by a drug I was given in my childhood, and it will be polished and scraped..i was joyous and I obtained NHIS form because I couldn't afford the fee.
Alas after the scrapping and polishing, I checked the mirror and my teeth was the same.. Even more coloured.. I couldn't complain much cos I did it free
.. This might be trivial to you, but to me, it means a lot..
Oh lord, I know you have been good to me cos I am alive and healthy, but Lord, I really desire a white normal teeth, I want no sparkling teeth, just take this brownness away

PoliticsRe: I Will Jail You In Absentia, Court Warns DSS Operatives by bamadino: 10:09am On Mar 15, 2016
mile12crises:
An Anambra State High Court presided over by Justice R.O Onunkwo on Thursday gave four officials of the Department of State Services in the state who were involved in a battery matter two months to appear before it or risk being sentenced in absentia.

The court order was coming following repeated absence of the DSS operatives in court on the issue.

Onunkwo said after the two-month grace, the security operatives would lose their rights of defence, adding that he would be left with no other option but to enter judgement in default against them.

The DSS officials had in April 2015 allegedly brutalised a businessman in the state, Chief Ifeanyichukwu Nwokoye, and his wife, Jessie.

The court therefore ordered hearing notice on the DSS personnel for March 15, April 5th and 20th, as well as May 17th, 19th , 24th and 26th.

Justice Onukwe, said on the March 15 hearing, the DSS would be expected to cross examine the witness who gave his evidence-in-chief on the March 10 sitting.

The court had on 7 March summoned the DSS to appear before it on March 10, which the security outfit did not honour.

When the matter came up on Monday March 7, the counsel to the DSS, Mr. S.T. Oneh, had announced his discontinuance with the matter.

He said, “I used to appear for the respondents (DSS) in this matter. But the respondents have disengaged my professional service. I hereby notify the court that I no longer represent them.”

Oneh, who tendered a letter disengaging his services by the DSS to the court, argued that he would not want to force himself on his former clients.

But in the resumed hearing on Thursday, the DSS did not put up any appearance, a situation that caused the judge to give a leave of the court to the applicant’s lawyer, Prof Ilochi Okafor, SAN, to proceed with his motion to continue with the case in the absence of DSS.

Nwokoye and his wife were allegedly brutalised by the men of the DSS in the state where Nwokoye’s sight was affected.

Nwokoye, who narrated his ordeal in the hands of the DSS operatives, said, “I was handcuffed with my wife like common criminals.

“I have never seen such a thing all my life. The retina of my eyes has been damaged. I was humiliated for no offence committed.”

He alleged that he was brutalised because he refused to release information about 22 expatriate medical doctors invited by the Anambra State Government for free medical mission in the state, who were accommodated in his hotel.

It will be recalled that Nwokoye had dragged the DSS to court for allegedly infringing on his fundamental rights.

EducationCategories Of People That Won't Pass Jamb This Year by bamadino(op):
1.The expo (cheat) masters: these are the ones who looks for cheats instead of using their limited time to read, they browse through different websites to achieve their aim, they thought jamb is as penetrable and vulnerable as other examinational bodies, Admins of these false websites knows this and they play on their intelligence by telling them they have the answers to the jamb questions and would be released for a specified amount, but it turns out that the answers they would send are falsified and candidates who rely on this would fail drastically, when jamb was been written in paper and pencil type (ppt) some of these expos work but now that it is in Computer based test only (CBT), it is almost impossible to find correct cheats.

2.The followers : these ones can't decide by themselves, they choose their subjects combinations and course because their friends chose the same, not minding their weakest and strongest subjects, it is when they are writing the exam that they will find out that they are on their own.

3. Unserious ones : these are the ones who will neither read nor go to lesson..they are always busy whenever it comes to reading...busy doing nothing...they don't learn from their past experiences..instead of sitting right and being focused when they attend lessons, they assume the role of fashionistas gallivanting around, engaging in unwholesome activities , wooing the opposite sex etc
Funningly enough some would say they are solving past questions but instead of using their brain and knowledge to get the answers, they check the back for answers and will think they are fooling the teachers, but indirectly they are "doing" themselves and the reality of their activities would dawn on them during the exam.

4.The ITKs ( I too knows) ; the people in this category might have read, did the right things, but their only problem is, they don't follow simple instructions, they rush to be the first to finish , so that they could boast about it, they don't read questions twice, they could misplace synonyms for antonyms or demand for supply etc.

5.The late comers ; these are the people that will come late on the D-day of the exam, lets say the exam is scheduled to start by 10:00am, these ones would come by 11:30 or later than that, mainly because they didn't know their centers,or some other reasons best known to them, they might not be allowed to participate in some centers but in some other centers the supervisors might be kind and allow
them to do the exam, but many candidates in that situation would be flustered and their minds in disarray that they might still be struggling with the first subject when the computer shuts down as a result of time up.
