Dpsychologist: When a teenage girl is abused, society rallies in outrage. Yet when a teenage boy is exploited by an older woman, the narrative shifts suddenly it’s “impressive,” “a flex,” or even “something to be praised.”
This is not empowerment. It is abuse. This is not maturity. It is exploitation. This is not consent. It is predation.
At 16, a boy is still a minor. His “enjoyment” or perceived skill does not erase the fact that he is being taken advantage of by an adult.
The double standard is glaring: we condemn abuse when it happens to girls, but trivialize it when it happens to boys. That hypocrisy silences male victims, normalizes abuse, and perpetuates a culture where men’s mental health and advocacy are dismissed.
Until we recognize that boys can be victims too, and that predators can be women as well as men, we will continue to fail half of our children.
This is not about gender wars. This is about justice, protection, and humanity.
Where is the abuse The boy practically knows what he's doing and he doesn't seems its his first time abeg, so stop been emotional on lies and camouflage.
This protester confirms he was paid by someone in Bronx, New York, to carry this placard denying that Christians are the targets of genocide in Nigeria.
In this shocking video, disturbing scenes emerge from Northern Nigeria, showing children freely handling assault rifles as terrorists laugh and watch.
The footage has sparked outrage nationwide, raising serious questions about security lapses, radicalization, and the future of innocent children growing up in violence-ridden regions.
Reports indicate that these children are being indoctrinated and desensitized to violence, with some being groomed to join armed groups in the future.
The situation highlights the urgent need for stronger counter-terrorism measures, child protection policies, and humanitarian intervention in affected areas.
Imagine one of the kids chanted Allauakbar, that means he has already knows the evil way, just give him 5-6 years he will be killing like his fathers and would not see it as a big deal
natedensel: My mum died not long ago, and my dad has a hand in her demise because her marriage was a turbulent one and she died of HBP, now shortly after she died, my dad came along with one woman who is very bold and shameless, first off she already has children from another fling not marriage, and now she comes and sleeps over, infact she's not discreet about it she's bold, brazen and doesn't feel ashamed of what she's doing.
Recently she has gotten more relaxed , she used to mind her business, she comes and do her thing and leaves, now she overstays, and she's now meddling in our family affairs, trying to mom me and my siblings now, then turning our dad away from us, now my dad sponsors her and her child from another relationship but neglects us like he did our mom.
I could easily make life miserable for her but I am not interested because I'm moving out as soon as possible, but what about my siblings, she has taken over everything and now she's my father's voice.
Just do your thing and ignore her. When the time comes you will be independent and leave the house for good.
Easyincome24: One can see consistency and humility going through the images placed side by side.
The picture on the left hand is over 20 years showing the vibrant Pastor, during his youthful age taking territories for Christ with his usual tambourine on one hand and holding one of his sons, Leke Adeboye, with the other hand.
Over two decades later, life with its own twist, baba as usual, holds his tambourine in the other hand but this time, his son, Leke Adeboye holding him on the other hand to guide him due to age catching up on him.
This picture is a great lesson to everyone that one day, you won't have that same strength of yesterday years. You will need others to hold you firmly wherever you go.
yemmit90: From the book of history, Alaafin of Oyo empire is the real son of Oduduwa with first hand access to his dynasty. Oranmiyan being the last son of Okanbi, after his other six brothers has left Ile-ife, appointed Adimula as a place holder when he was about to leave.
Oranmiyan eventually settle at present Oyo empire and became first Alaafin. It was learnt that all Yoruba King's were used to pay homages to only Alaafin as supreme king in Yoruba land. The Ooni title/ rulling houses in Ile-Ife Town of today are lineage of Placeholder Adimula.
If we are to judge by history, Ile-Ife is ancestral home of Yoruba, and Alaafin of Oyo is the head of Oduduwa (the founder of Yoruba ethnic) dynasty. Therefore, he is the one in right position to appoint Yoruba cultural leaders.
But in another instance, if Oranmiyan 6 other brothers could not return to claim their father's throne, Alaafin too should not be poking noses on what is going on in his ancestral home. If he is to claim right, he should simply fight for his father throne and become Ooni, even in far away Oyo empire.
Maybe someone who know better can enlighten me on this.
What's this one saying bayi? Abeg who gave birth to oranmiyan? And who was the first crowned king in the history of yoruba land ?? You guys will just be quoting mumu history.
haybhi1: Ife and UI na schools abeg... they are likely to have contributed to professors and lecturers in most other tertiary institutions than any other schools, by history.
On point that's just it, those two schools are don't joke when it comes to excellence.
