strigger:You may need to call the YouWin secretariat before the monitors will submit their reports to avoid the delay of your second tranche. |
When they do that by Monday, I will give you feedback. I pray the questions they will ask the monitor helps the issues. |
chukwuka12:I like your points. I just call them to tell them and they are happy. |
xdream:Don't miss quote me. I didn't say, any monitor demanded for bribe. On the issue of employment letters, I still maintain my stand. If u doubt me then let us report it to YouWiN secretariat. It can be investigated by the following way: they should check the last survey on job creation and even the trigger, they will notice those who didn't indicate job creation but now have staff appointment letter for approval. Any statement I make here I can defend. Because I am sure as much as am sure of my name. Sorry if my facts offend you, but it is a blunt truth. However, I still want the house give their view on the issue of those guys so that I can give them better advice. They are looking into me as a mentor now and I don't want to mislead them. I beg make una give me idea, make I still dey relevant to them. |
bamistol:Myself, I didn't give her any money, but I entertained her with cold juice and snacks. |
sydneyobioha:I gave them the same advice and I even took them to my printing press and printed one booklet of payment voucher each for each of them (because I run a printing press). They came back that the woman still rejected it. That was when I told them that she may be up to something. When I asked them of the details of their account book they said that the woman did not even ask them. Each of them have similar experience. Funny enough, the same woman used different measures for others. For instance, some that are starting a new school without Revalidation Certificate from Ministry of Education, which is a major requirement for starting she told them to quickly go to the ministry of education to get it so she can approve them. Some without single employment, she told them to quickly print employment letter and bring to her office so she can approve them. Nobody is ready to say either they bribed her or not. Why different measures for different people? I pitied my fellow awardees. We awardees do share ideas here so as to advise each other that is how I got to know of their predicament. Others have been advising them. I don't want to give them misleading advice that is why am sharing it at this forum for brainstorming. |
chukwuka12:They say the monitor refuse to accept handwritten evidence of payment for workmanship for artisans like carpenter, welder or bricklayers. That they must show receipt or invoice for workmanship. So the monitor insisted that such funds are not accounted for despite the handwritten evidence. And some irrelevant issues. As if the monitor is witch hunting them |
I learnt that some monitors are giving awardees terrible headache. About 4 awardees have told me their monitors are giving them headache and they didn't divert the fund. They said it appears that those SMEDAM monitors are looking for bribe. I reminded them that they warned us against giving money to any monitor. I don't know how to further advise them. They are NOT on nairaland. Should I advise them to report to YouWIN secretariat? Fellow awardees especially YouWIN 1 and 2 awardees need your contribution so that I may NOT give those 4 awardees misleading advice. |
xdream:hahahahahaahaaa. No worry alert go land. |
40dogzz:40dogzz, are u mentally sound. Have responded to all your scamming posts since? U are the one that is so daft with all your scam. You will soon be arrested. |
stagger:Why not stop your criticism of Goodluck Jonathan. Fighting corruption is a combined efforts. Pls DONT criticize any leader here. |
Promhize:I like your maturity. God bless you the more. |
newacca:I has to be. We have deceived ourselves too long. It high time we face reality. |
Waiting for the responses of those who say they don't want Goodluck. Well, I don't care. I can be insulted, but the truth must be told. I still have more to release. Am happy that one of you said people are collecting N2,000 to sell their votes. My advice is, please first refund your YouWin first tranche then we can talk of that. We are talking of a performing regime, which you are number one testimony until you opt out of YouWin. Any YouWin awardee that truly has conscience will agree that Goodluck is performing not minding opposition propaganda that only illiterates or those blindfolded by ethnicity and religious sentiment can believe. The truth must be told as raw as it is. Instead of working for continuity we kept deceiving ourselves that YouWin should be separated from politics and people like me even fell mugu before but everyday we kept hearing of YouWin on political jingles. I still want to believe that those who are always say YouWiN should be separated from politics are those in opposition can that are scared of the votes that YouWiN can harvest for continuity of Goodluck transformation agenda. No wonder they have take to social media to discredit YouWiN just for propaganda. I AM NO MORE READY TO KEEP QUIET. IF IT IS CHARM THEY USE TO HOLD US, IT CAN NOT CATCH ME AGAIN. Goodluck is working and the youths, who are the future of this country are benefiting. I am number one testimony. |
PART FOUR: I will quote some well known Nigerians: “The grounds on which General Buhari is being promoted as the alternative choice are not only shaky, but pitifully naive. History matters. Records are not kept simply to assist the weakness of memory, but to operate as guides to the future. Of course, we know that human beings change. What the claims of personality change or transformation impose on us is a rigorous inspection of the evidence, not wishful speculation or behind-the-scenes assurances. Public offence, crimes against a polity, must be answered in the public space, not in caucuses of bargaining.” – Wole Soyinka The Noble Laurel, Prof Wole Soyinka opined on Buhari as published by Sahara Reporters on 14th January, 2007 on “The Crimes of Buhari” “In Buhari, we have been offered no evidence of the sheerest prospect of change. On the contrary, all evident suggests that this is one individual who remains convinced that this is one ex-ruler that the nation cannot call to order.” – Wole Soyinka “Does Decree 20 ring a bell? If not, then, perhaps the names of three youths - Lawal Ojuolape (30), Bernard Ogedengbe (29) and Bartholomew Owoh (26) do. To put it quite plainly, one of those three – Ogedengbe - was executed for a crime that did not carry a capital forfeit at the time it was committed. … “Buhari and his sidekick and his partner-in-crime, Tunde Idiagbon persisted in this inhuman act for one reason and one reason only: to place Nigerians on notice that they were now under an iron, inflexible rule, under governance by fear.” – Wole Soyinka “In Buhari, we have been offered no evidence of the sheerest prospect of change. On the contrary, all evident suggests that this is one individual who remains convinced that this is one ex-ruler that the nation cannot call to order.” – Wole Soyinka According to El-Rufai: “Buhari remains “perpetually unelectable” as a result of his “insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus.” – Malam Nasir El’Rufai (Presently APC gubernatorial candidate for Kaduna State) According to Atiku: Buhari always abdicates authority. “When he was head of state,” Atiku said, “he was not in charge. When he was PTF chairman, he was not in charge”. – Atiku Abubakar (Former Vice-President and now APC chieftain) According to Dupe Olatunbosun “If you want to know, when General Buhari was NNPC chairman in 1977, he was not really in control. You have to know that when he was at the control of affairs at Petroleum Trust Fund, it was his father-in-law, Alhaji Pakito, who ran the organisation through his consultancy firm. “For a man, who is hardly ever in control of any situation, if he finds himself as Mr President in 2015, with the overbearing influence of his party’s national leaders, will he be able to be in control?” – Dupe Olatunbosun |
PART THREE: On Boko Haram and those who are sympathetic to the insurgency: According to PUNCH published on 3rd June, 2013 under the caption: “Buhari faults crackdown on Boko Haram” ‘Buhari who spoke on Sunday 2nd June, 2013 on a Liberty Radio programme, Guest of the Week monitored accused the government of killing and destroying houses belonging to Boko Haram members while the Niger Delta militants get special treatment.’ In Buhari’s word: ‘“You see in the case of the Niger Delta militants, the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua sent an aeroplane to bring them, he sat down with them and discussed with them, they were cajoled, and they were given money and granted amnesty. They were trained in some skills and were given employment, but the ones in the north were being killed and their houses were being demolished. They are different issues, what brought this? It is injustice”. AGAIN When Jonathan declared a state of emergency in Yobe, Borno and Adamawa states, Buhari still saw this with Northern goggles, insinuating that the President is waging war on the North.’ In the light of the above, any other statement made contrary to the above ARE ALL POLITICAL PROPAGANDA to deceive Nigerians. |
PART TWO: TITLE: MUST SHARIA CONTINUE IN NIGERIA? The following was published on THE GUARDIAN under the title: “Buhari calls for Sharia in all states,". And also reported in several medium including NEWS24 under the caption: “Calls for 'total' Sharia in Nigeria” on 27th August, 2001 Buhari boldly declared in a seminar organised by the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria, a newly set up body attended by northern state governments and Islamic scholars in Kaduna, northern Nigeria, at the weekend that the strict Islamic law code known as the Sharia should be introduced in full across Nigeria. In Buhari’s own words: "I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria," Buhari said, quoted in press reports. Buhari also categorically asserted: "God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country," Buhari said. Buhari again boasted: "It is a legal responsibility which God has given us, within the context of one Nigeria, to continue to uphold the practice of Sharia wholeheartedly…” Nigeria should remain a secular state where everyone is fully allowed to practice his own religion as convinced provided the right of others are NOT violated. On this same Nairaland we fasted and prayed. I mean both Muslim and Christians fasted and prayed when there was delay in our first tranche and God answered us. This is what Nigeria should be. Not imposition of Sharia in all state. Then fellow Nigerians, the dice is cast it is left for us to decide The drum is played it is left for us understand the tune The tune is played it is left for us dance to the tune |
If you people think we don't know what is happening in Nigeria, we will quote history. I have so many of these historical facts waiting to be released. THIS IS PART ONE: On insecurity read the following: After the 2011 post-election crises a presidential committee on post election violence was set up on 11th May, 2011. The 22-man panel of enquiry was led by Sheikh Ahmed Lemu. The report of the 22-man panel stated that Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, Presidential Candidate, Major General Muhammadu Buhari’s provocative remarks played a role in the bloody violence. The following quotation is from VANGUARD published on 11th October, 2011 under the title: “Post-election violence: FG panel report indicts Buhari” “The 22-man Panel said that Buhari’s pre-election utterances might have been misconstrued by his supporters to engage in the condemnable mayhem that greeted the aftermath of the presidential elections.” It is so amazing that before the 2011 elections, the northern elders in their desperation to return power to the north at all cost, even went to the extent of issue threat warning: The following quotation is from NIGERIAN TRIBUNE published on Thursday, 23rd December, 2010 under the title “ATIKU ABUBAKAR’S THREAT” THIS desperation was manifested on 15th December, 2010 with the following threat at the National Stakeholders Conference organised by the Adamu Ciroma-led Northern Political Leaders Forum in Abuja. “...Let me again send another message to the leadership of our great country, especially the political leadership that those who make peaceful change impossible make violent change inevitable...” - Atiku Abubarkar Also on NIGERIAN TRIBUNE under the title: “Kaita Incendiary Outburst” and “Lawal Kaita Lossing Class” published by VANGUARD "The North is determined if it happens, to make Nigeria 'ungovernable' for President Jonathan or any other Southerner who finds his way to the seat of power on the platform of the PDP against the principle of the party's zoning policy. ANYTHING short of a northern president is tantamount to stealing our presidency. Jonathan has to go and he will go. Even if he uses incumbency power to get his nomination on the platform of the PDP, he will be 'frustrated' out." -Lawal Kaita (2nd Republic Governor of Kaduna State) ALL THE THREAT WAS BEFORE 2011 ELECTION. Since then Nigeria has truly become ungovernable with different levels of violence. THE FOLLOWING MAY EXCITE THOSE THAT ARE SCREAMING "CHANGE" Speaking to his supporters on May 14 2012 in Kaduna, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) made several incendiary statements including the following: “God willing, by 2015, something will happen. They either conduct a free and fair election or they go a very disgraceful way. If what happened in 2011 should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood,’’ MY VIEW: If truly they have good agenda for Nigeria why must they threaten bloodshed if they dont win? There is NO TRUE FATHER that will threaten bloodshed in his family if he is not allowed to rule. Krak: |
sunylee1:@Sunylee1 I doff my hat for you. We cannot keep deceiving ourselves. The fact remains that the continuity of Goodluck Jonathan is the continuity of the YouWiN programme and other Youth focused programmes. But just come to think of it, the administration that has done for us what has NEVER happen in Nigeria we will be ingrate if we dont vote for Goodluck. As at the time I knew Buhari will be the major opposition against Goodluck I knew that we need to work and ensure Goodluck finish his second term if only we want this YouWin programme to continue. How can I get money running into millions (grant that I will NEVER pay back) from an administration without the usual norms of man-know-man and I will NOT vote for that same administration to continue. This is wickedness of the highest order. I dont care the reason any YouWin awardee has that will warrant them to vote Goodluck. Let me ask the following questions? 1. Was it not during Buhari's past regime that Umaru Dikko said that Nigerians were yet to eat from dustbin? 2. Was it not Goodluck that implemented the N18,000 minimum wages from N7,000? 3. Was it not Goodluck that increased NYSC allowance from migre N7,500 to whooping N18,500 giving more hope to our youths? 4. Was it not Goodluck that bring women out of kitchen where previous administration have relegated them to. Goodluck is the first Nigerian president to give women 35% participation in governance. 5. Was it not this same Goodluck that built schools for Almajiris to reduce miscreant in the society? That means he is a president for both Muslims and Christians. 6. Was it not this same Goodluck that approved and established 12 Federal Universities? So that every state can boast of a federal university and to increase the number of Jambites that gain admission, so as to reduce what parents spend yearly on JAMB. Even if the universities are not yet fully functioning, we all know that Rome was NOT built in a day. We 3,900 YouWin Awardee are even suppose to work and mobilise vote for Goodluck, except we allow opposition party's propaganda to becloud our sense of judgment, despite the fact that we are number 1 testimony that Goodluck has a good heart for Nigerians and that he is working. It is gross act of injustice and wickedness for any YouWin awardee not to vote Goodluck for continuity. But does some people's conscience allow them to enjoy YouWin fund under Goodluck and still have the gut to work against Goodluck. Examine your conscience. I have been working for Goodluck since the emergence of Buhari as a major opponent. I am justifying my conscience because as at today I am sure I to deliver minimum of 1,500 votes to Goodluck and the number is increasing by the day and so will continue to increase till March 28 election date. Even if Goodluck dont win and Buhari stopped the youth focused programmes, my conscience will justify me that I did my best. |
Well I wanted to update the house this morning of the move I made yesterday Thursday 8th January. But before I could login to my nairaland account I got my much expected alert. The jubilation made my update to be overtaken by events. However, the battle is not over till we get our third and last tranche. Hence, there is a need to update the house. I sent the following message to Okonjo-Iweala and copied YouWin coordinator and admin ......................................................................................................... On Jan 8, 2015 10:55 PM, "Bamisaye" <bamistol@yahoo.com> wrote: Ma, we will always thank God for your life. But we need your intervention in YouWiN3 first tranche release. Up till now we have Not been given our first tranche. There was a mail we got that by Wednesday 7th January, 2015 we should start expecting the first tranche, Ma this Thursday 9th January 2015 no message and our first tranche have not been given to us. Please ma, help us use your good office to speed up the release of YouWiN! 3 first tranche. We have waited for so long and we are hopeful that your intervention will help us. @Slowchuks: that ask us to start calling YouWin secretariat is right only that he used wrong word which I know is from annoyance. I support calling them. I have been calling them since morning they have switched off all their lines. something may be up their sleeve... |
mikeoh:I don't see @xdream: as been in a hurry. The issue is that the undue delay backed up with lack of certainty is terrible and its telling hard on most awardees. I will appeal to the house that we should carefully choose our words while reacting to other people's post to avoid transfer of aggression. So many awardees have suffered untold heavy casualties from the present situation. To fail to plan is to plan to fail. With the trend of event, I really don't know how we can plan. Because planing has to be time bound. So many of us have planned, re-planned, re-planned and re-planned etc. What are we to do next? House don hot now ooo. I beg una do am jeje make fire no catch. |
If truly nothing is wrong somewhere, all the time wasted is enough for them to have finalized all disbursement processes and all we were suppose to be getting yesterday was alert upon alert. Chai... Okonjo-Iweala... YouWiN!... Kai.. I only wish the shattered, biz and images can be redeemed today Thursday 8th January, 2015. We started applying for YouWin in 2013. Names were released in 2014. We are in 2015 not knowing when the first tranche will be released... |
COUNTDOWN 3 days to the release of 1st tranche. |
COUNTDOWN TO 1ST TRANCHE: 4 days to the release of YouWiN 3 first tranche. My Fellow awardees, I want to believe that we all have gone over our plans again for more effective implementation. I want us to make up our mind to make the YouWiN 3 the best of all YouWiN so far despite the undue delay. All the best |
COUNTDOWN TO THE RELEASE YOUWIN3 FIRST TRANCHE: 5 days |
Tayodapo:The count down has started. The beauty of the issue now is the fact that we now know the particular day to expect the first tranche. With that we can all have better, more focused and more specific plan. Most especially, those of us that are into new business. Happy New Year to my fellow millionaires. |
chukwuka12:I have checked this survey I am NOT sure it is for YouWin 3 New Business. What do they want us to fill when they have NOT released even the first tranche. Well I don't know what to fill in the survey. |
harbayo20:Pls stop this ad. If u observe you will notice that this your multilevel ad can NOT work here. This is a millionaires club NOT what you think. You are advised to go elsewhere. |
Chokomate:@Chokomate. Lets push the past behind and forge ahead. We are all partners in progress and as far as we are human relating together there must be misunderstanding, but it will always be settled and we go on mutually benefiting from the intellectual posting of one another as usual. Merry Xmas, Happy New Year in advance and wish you and others a prosperous 2015 both in YouWin and all our endeavors. |
strigger:@strigger and others taking side Just hold you peace. We are not set for any quarrel or taking side. The fact that I choose not to respond to some of the comments doesn't mean that I don't know that some people are taking side. I rather thanked all of you, both those that took side and those that didn't. Let that suffice you all. Merry Xmas to everybody on this thread. |
mkmyers45:Yes, you have a powerful point here. And I still make bold to declare that with the dwindling economy, undue delay nobody will think of wasteful festive spending of the government grant that is supposed to be used for job creation and business breakthrough. NOBODY. The money is for our breakthrough and I know that when we use the fund for the business God will raise us to celebrate more glorious Christmas and New Year. If we consider the mail sent by YouWiN and read between lines, we will realize that they almost quoted Chokomate. Check it below: "Please be informed that disbursement of Tranche 1 has been temporarily put on hold. The decision to halt the process of payment is to reduce the risk of Awardees’ diverting their YouWiN! funds for the festive season." I still believe this comment was quoted from posts on this forum. For this reason, we need to guide our utterances on this thread. And some of those who even claim to be settling quarrel were indirectly taking sides buttressing the point that awardees will truly divert the funds. Quarrel apart. On a serious note, pls let us watch our post so that we will not implicate our chances. please we all have our good plans and NOT PLAN TO DIVERT FUNDS and most of our plans have lead time which if missed will drastically affect the business execution negatively. Again I appeal to the house that in cracking jokes and in serious discussion just note that we are talking to the public where everybody has access to read, INCLUDING YouWiN staff and staff from Ministry of Finance as well as presidency. My point of anger was 1st the undue delay, then I felt insulted when chokomate jokingly said that some awardees are planning to use some of the YouWiN first tranche to buy white goat and ankara. As far as I am concern my opinion is that anyone whom the government has decided to help breakthrough and to take part in nation building through job creation will NOT plan to divert and waste the fund on festivity. Are they following the person from the village? Even if some evil people are following the person from the village wont he/she pray to God to help send them back. "A word", they say "is enough for the wise." This more than a word CONCLUSION: 1. Let us watch our posts as well as our jokes 2. YouWiN3 awardees are wise enough to plan on how to make judicious use of their first tranche for their business 3. It is still on this thread that someone advised YouWiN3 awardee to use the first tranche very well so as not to get hooked between the first and second tranche. |
