Actually I think we should still vote for an establishment politician. Our institutions are still under the stronghold of 'vampires'. What we need is a seasoned, experienced politician who understands all the 'dirty work' and is propelled by a desire to serve. Such a guy will take away power from individuals and instead give it to the institutions. Push for a more merit based society. I don't know if such a politician exists but that's what we need. Years after he has created a working system then we can be ready vote non establishment people (non career politicians) who have genuine ideas on how to improve the existing framework. Nigeria has a lot more work to do than we realize.

We need a renewed developmental masterplan for transportation network, viz a viz, rail, riverport, roads, airports etc

We need more power infrastructural expansion to increase productivity,

We need more industrial clusters for backward integration,

We need more investment in tourism, many hidden tourist attractions are left untapped,

We need to seek ways of adding value to other mineral resources,

We need to start seeking for ways of improving our tax-culture,

We need to get in touch of how to open the east to the outer world, especially with foreign consular offices to be domiciled in our domain.
