Thinking I should share this, the rate at which technology on cars,phones , electronic gadget is moving fast, may be soon, cars would run on water, I found a page where I got my S3 around 60k, it works perfectly and works great, I am not sure if the forum would allow me to share there info, but it's new , i confirmed the IMEI online and I love it.
I think one of the major things we enjoy in this country is phones and cheap calls.

Two officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,NSCDC, were allegedly killed in the early hours of yesterday, in Ikorodu area of Lagos, during a shoot-out with a police team.
The deceased identified as Assistant Inspector Gabriel Adaji and Inspector Innocent Akegbe, reportedly went on a raid around Konu area of Ikorodu in the company of five other colleagues.

Their mission, Vanguard learnt, was to effect the arrest of some pipeline vandals said to be operating on a broken pipeline.

They were said to have made some arrests, recovered some exhibits and were on their way to their office when they were accosted by a team of policemen allegedly led by one Inspector Sunday Gabriel, attached to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

Policemen attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad have been accused of killing a 46-year-old petty trader in Ijaye-Ojokoro, Lagos State.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the deceased, Eze Okoro, was killed last Friday while the policemen were on an anti-robbery operation.
The deceased’s wife ,Ugonna, alleged that the policemen snuffed out the life of Eze few metres from his residence at 1 Oguntolu Street, Ijaiye-Ojokoro.
Ugonna said her husband of over 15 years had just finished eating and had gone to relax with a neighbour, Chinedu Nnwanu, and his pregnant wife, Nneka as he usually did when there was power outage at night.
She said, “My husband had just finished having dinner and he stepped outside to see our neighbours who live opposite our house. They usually relax outside whenever there is power outage.
“A few minutes before 11pm, we heard sporadic gunshots and out of panic, I held unto my seven-year-old son and ran for cover. Few minutes later when the shooting abated, I tried to reach my husband on his mobile phone but he was not picking it up.”
Ugonna said at that point she started to imagine that something was amiss.
“I summoned courage and stepped out of the compound and immediately noticed that my husband and his friends were not at the spot. I started yelling out my husband’s name but there was no answer,” she said.
She said after some time, some neighbours informed her that from their windows, they observed some policemen carrying a man whom they suspected was lifeless into their vehicle.
In a state of confusion, she was able to pull a call through to some of her siblings and that of her husband who immediately formed a search party for their relation and the policemen who were alleged to have taken away the body

A fake medical doctor, Mr. Ibukun Ojo, has been arrested by the Special Fraud Unit Ikoyi, Lagos, for his role in an attempt to defraud the Canadian Government of N89m health insurance claims. His accomplice, Steve Fakolujo, is said to be on the run.
In May 2012, Ojo had allegedly prepared a fake medical report for Fakolujo, a Nigerian citizen who resides in Canada. This was to enable Fakolujo to claim the sum of N89m in the form of health insurance from the Canadian Government.

A 53-year-old grandmother, Sikirat Giwa, has been arrested at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja while trying to smuggle out cocaine under her hair weave.
Giwa was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency on Saturday with 1kg of white powdery, which later tested positive to cocaine.

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday paid a visit to the headquarters of the Federal Road Safety Corp in Abuja to process his driving license.

Obasanjo arrived the location and promptly went through the biometric capture in no time.

“If I have to drive, I must have a valid driver’s license like others,” he said.

We doubt the former president chauffeurs himself around so we wonder what the dress rehearsal was all about. We can assure you though that you’d be grossly mistaken if you expect your license registration process to be as breezy as his was. Good luck to you.

Two toddlers aged three years-old who were declared missing on 25th January 2013 have been found dead in an abandoned vehicle on the premises of a building next to theirs on Taike Street, Ketu, Lagos State.

A 10-year-old JSS 1 pupil of Valencia College, Ibadan, Oyo State, Seyi-Ojo Anjolaoluwa, has done his school proud by becoming one of the youngest kids that have obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional certificate. He has emerged the youngest Nigerian Microsoft certified professional and one of the youngest people in the world to attain such feat.

Born on July 21, 2002 to the family of Dr and Mrs Anjolaoluwa, the chubby boy participated in the MCIP test on July 24, 2012. He scored 869 out of possible 1,000. Due to his performance, he was adjudged by Microsoft as a certified professional in Microsoft Windows XP (Administration Management and Configuration, Exam 70 – 270).

Anjolaoluwa, a JSS1 pupil of Valencia College, Ibadan, Oyo State, has thus joined the league of world’s set of young Microsoft certified professionals, including Lavinashree, an eight-year-old Indian, and two Pakistanis, named Arfa and Thobani.

Though their performance was not as high as Anjolaoluwwa, some Nigerian children, which include Nwaiwo Favour of Royal Family Academy, Abuja; and Osaremen Davidson and Olanrewaju Shittu, both of Doregos Private Academy, Lagos are also in the good book of Microsoft Incorporation for their enviable performances in the certified examination.

Microsoft Certified Professional is an internationally recognised certification programme provided by Microsoft cooperation. The certification is tailored towards building skills on Microsoft business solutions, focusing on client-end operating systems such as windows XP, Vista, Windows7 among others.

Though he was not the only pupil registered by his school for the professional certification examination, the boy’s performance placed him shoulder higher than his five other school mates.

Except for his good looks and good natured smile, nothing about Anjolaoluwa appears extraordinary. But will he pursue a career in software/hardware development like Bill Gates and Michael Dell who started their software/hardware project around the age of 13? Anjolaoluwa said no.

Rather than pursue a career in information technology, he said his aspiration was to become a medical doctor. His mission in life is to make his school and country proud.

The Head of Training for ITS, an Ibadan-based IT company in charge of the ICT section of Valencia College, Mr. Oresanya Joshua, commended the efforts of Anjolaoluwa and the other five pupils, saying they should be celebrated.

“The kids deserve to be celebrated,” he said.

Oresanya also urged the Federal Government to urgently integrate information technology into the nation’s school curriculum.

This, he said, would not only enhance the sustenance of the gains that the country has made in information technology, it would also help the nation to discover ICT gurus in its school system.

He added that his company has been in the vanguard of efforts to integrate information Technology Training Curricula into Nigerian schools from primary to tertiary levels. Oresanya added that schools should be encouraged to take the teaching of ICT seriously.

“Schools should be encouraged to embrace ICT because some schools still teach computer studies the same way they teach social studies without exposing the kids to practicals. If not for Anjolaoluwa and the other pupils that excelled in the Microsoft Professional Certification test, we would not have known that ICT gurus are within us,” he said.

The school Principal, Mrs Victoria Morakinyo, also applauded Anjolaoluwa and the other pupils who made the school, the country and Africa proud.

She added that they thrived in the examination because of the state-of-the-art facilities available in the college as well as the employment of expert and quality teachers that deliver qualitative education to pupils.

The principal, however, commended Anjolaoluwa and other five pupils that sat for and passed the certification examination.

The other pupils are Adeyinka Oreoluwa, Odunsi Nicholas, Ajao Blessing Ololade Toluwanimi and Agbele Oluwaloniope.

They also came out in flying colours and were certified.

For the ICT savvy pupils, it was just the beginning of their career as they promised to explore other areas of ICT certification so as to match their counterparts in the developed world.

With the skill acquired from this certification, these young Nigerians stand the chance of securing high paying holiday jobs as system administrators, help desk support analyst or as system engineer. This qualification places them on a higher pedestal when compared with pupils of their age or class.

Morakinyo said that with this feat, the college could arguably be classified as the fist secondary school in the country to produce six Microsoft Office Specialist pupils within a year.
