Politics › Re: Tinubu Rules Out Return Of Fuel Subsidy, Says Decision Painful But Necessary by Banter1(m): 7:56am On Aug 04, 2024 |
Nvestor02: [/b] If Tunibu decides to remove the subsidy, it would make him seem like the most incompetent president ever. But I know how brave Tunibu is, and I believe no amount of criticism will stop him from pushing Nigeria forward. Thanks.
Removing the subsidy is their main demand because the people behind this protest are the ones benefiting from it, and they want it back to drain Nigeria even more.
This decision is the right move to improve Nigeria. We've already seen how he increased the allocation by 41%. I can't understand what these people are thinking when they say Timangu is on the wrong path.
To make Nigeria better, everyone needs to make sacrifices. What you eat is your responsibility than the government's. Let that really sink in. Mtcheeeew |

Politics › Re: Hunger Protest Begins In Niger State (Pictures) by Banter1(m): 1:32pm On Jul 29, 2024 |
Salewa97: Hunger protest in Niger State? This is just another avenue for chaos.
When will we learn that protesting without a solid plan only leads to more suffering? Instead of channeling energy into destructive demonstrations, why not engage with the government and demand real change? Protests that turn violent only exacerbate the problem and put innocent lives at risk.
Nigerians should be wise enough to see that protests without purpose are a waste of time. Hunger isn't solved in the streets; it's solved in the boardrooms and through policies that uplift the people. Let's focus on constructive dialogue rather than chaos. Will you shut up. Last month for almost a week I was eating moringa leave to survive despite my health concern. You have no idea the hardship some of us are going through. |
Business › Re: HELP! How Do I Stop Okash From Calling Me? by Banter1(m): 1:46pm On Jul 28, 2024 |
Easybet1: Please, what can I do to stop Okash from calling me? They call me at least twice every single day. I have never taken a loan from any loan shark, and I never will, even under duress. No matter how many times I block their number, they keep calling from different numbers, which is extremely disturbing.
The worst part is that I can't even speak with the person to tell her to stop calling. It’s always a recorded voice, and as soon as I hear, "Hello, this is Gift from Okash," I hang up.
I’ve reached out to them on Twitter asking them to stop disturbing me with calls. Despite this, just today, I received three different calls from them, and I blocked those numbers too.
I can understand why some people take loans from them and then avoid repaying—both the lender and the borrower seem driven by greed.
I don't understand why they are so persistent in trying to force a loan on me.
Is it possible to take legal action against them? What can I do to stop this constant harassment?
please mod help me move it to the front page Just block numbers not stored in your phone |
