The season might not have gone as fans expect so far but so did his first season. Good news is we're picking up form @ the right time which is positive, and while we might not be playing the vintage Barca champagne football, know that it's a full transition away from Xavi in the middle, Dani alves on the right and now the older and more fragile Iniesta is having to play with Andre Gomes and Rafinha, but we can take solace in the fact that we're still in all competitions.

Btw, do you have any other manager in mind apart from Sampaoli who you think can do a better job or is it just Sampaoli for you?

Even before Lucho was hired, I never liked him, talking of style, sampaoli's style suits barca more than Enrique. NEYMAR I am convinced will definitely improve a gr8 deal (not like he isn't great already)

Same was said of Tata Martino's style but it failed, we went trophyless having played very bad that season. It was like we lost our identity, that was why he didn't last more than 1 season. You might not like Lucho but he still follows our philosophy which has won us lots of trophies, which included a treble

Sevilla is a bigger team than Celta no matter who the manager is, so they stand a bigger chance of causing an upset against the league giants than Celta.

All you guys shouting Sampaoli to come to barca should relax. Personally I don't want him at the coach even tho he is pretty good and he will be awesome.

He should stay at Sevilla so they can become a full force locally and internationally. This will make La Liga more interesting and also make the Spanish sides more dominant in EPL.

I'm yet to see Vidal play against a decent team because my coach will not even try it.

That's because he didn't impress enough against the inferior sides he faced. You probably didn't see him during the pre-season when "old" James Milner became spectacular against him

Vidal should retain his RB and let Roberto go back to his natural midfield position. He's more creative than all our midfielders bar Iniesta.

I say this for the umpteenth time. But my coach will not reason in that direction.

He is not that good, at least not for us in that position. He had a good game because of the inferior opponents, he'll get exposed when we play him against better teams with better wingers. So it's either we get a new RB, which i strongly recommend, or continue with Sergi Roberto

Barcelona close to sealing free transfer for legendary defender



It’s a little over four weeks until January which opens the transfer window for European clubs.


Not much activity is expected to be going on in the transfer window as most clubs would be unwilling to sell mid-way through the season. But Barcelona are still hoping to make a move with the right-back still a lingering problem.The Catalans are away of just how much difficult and expensive it would be to secure a move. Aleix Vidal is expected to leave on loan in January and Barca want to bring in Croatian right-back Drijo Srna.

The Shakhtar Donetsk captain has been linked with the Blaugranas for sometime nowand the club have stepped up their interests. Barcelona’s technical secretary Robert Fernandez has continued to keep contact with the player. The club have been encouraged by the fact that his contract runs out in January and he would be available for free in January.


Srna has spent 13 years at the Ukranian club and is no stranger to winning titles. He has won six Ukrainian Premier League titles, six Ukrainian Cups and a UEFA Cup.
