elampiro: Robbed 3 points at away.
At least a point at home. Haba! To me it's three points sef. With 10 vs 10, City would have gotten their 2 goals. Would it have changed anything? Just a point at home. Everton would have done a better job I tell you Let them stay in the 2nd tier |

coogar: it's a mental block! it will take a while before they get used to playing in europe. they don't even have a hostile atmosphere to threaten their opponents like you would get at anfield, OT, allianz arena or the emirates.
chelsea were already a european powerhouse before roman took over in 2003. they had money to spend and the sudden boost was a plus to the european experience they already had. city were nobodies when the abu dhabi boys took over - you can't just expect them to buy here & there and become a european giant overnight!
PSG, malaga, monaco are also clubs that had a billionaire taking over them.....how many times has any of them won in europe despite the millions they have spent? i hate man city than lucifer himself but it's harsh to compare them to real madrid just because they are the biggest spenders in the EPL. Well the mental block excuse does sound plausible. To be fair, malaga had a good run in their only run in the UCL, and PSG have been going out in the knockout stages not group stages like man city |

elampiro: On Wednesday evening, the Blues' showing was certainly not befitting of a team that has ambitions to be winning the competition. Fingers will be pointed at some poor officiating, but that can't excuse the shambolic display that saw the hosts lose to the supposed weakest team in the group and barely test the opposition goalkeeper. http://www.espnfc.us/club/manchester-city/382/blog/post/2131329/player-ratings-nobody-stars-on-a-bad-night-for-manchester-city
* Don't forget the dubious penalty that saw CSK equalized in the first leg. If this excuse flies for the CSKA match, how about the others? They're the EPL champions for pete's sake. I used to make the debutants excuse for them but it's seriously not flying anymore |

elampiro: Did you watch the game?
Those guys were very tired. And they were robbed too. Yea I watched the game City don't have any excuses anymore jor. They've been in Europe for 4 straight years now and they have a very wealthy squad yet they're still failing. Save it |

elampiro: Pellergrini is new in EPL. Macini would have by now known how much the league is tough, pacing and physical. You can afford to play every day in Burndisleaguedown and Laliga and still post a good UCL outing. But not EPL. If you saw the game you would know City were battle fatigued from the Manchester derby. They were secodn to 50-50 balls. Oh my days. This is funny I swear Some people just love being clowns |

pickabeau1: The record is good and the fact is it that him and ROnnie will still outscore 80+goals in UCL
However what we cant take from Raul is that all his goals were scored from open play..
71 goals ---No penalties
Respect! Wow. I hadn't realized that. Respect to Raul truly |

homesteady: Yea I know they will both break it, but it's a matter of who'll be the 1st to break it! or will you be happy if Cr7 breaks it 1st? especially at this perilous times when Cr7 is scoring anyhow! abeg let Messi also be the toast of the media for a while jare! Would you rather he breaks the record and we lose? If you were given options which would you choose FC Barca first bro. Messi scoring should be bonus |

homesteady: whoop! thank God Cr7 did not score today! That record must be broken by Messi! Aminnn! even if he scores one tomorrow, he still has the chance to break it 1st next UCL week, because we are playing before madrid! Penaldo Untorrrrr!!! Abeg just forget all this record breaking ish jor. It's not like there's any special award attached to it. Few weeks ago everybody was hoping Messi breaks the all time la liga record, 3 weeks down it's the same old story (and we're in 4th) The both of them will break it eventually. All this obsession over it is just getting boring |

Dhellake: Neuer that was not even the best player in the Bundesliga last season, neither was he the best at the world cup, so I honestly don't understand those who talk about Neuer winning the Ballon D'Or It's just media frenzy Blatter? That man is old and it's really affecting him. He's getting legendary for making silly comments |

Johnnny: Nawa o, Messi is now the subject of every ridicule now. From not deserving any of his past Ballon D'ors to forming big man, from being selfish to being too short, from influencing coaches instructions to selecting players to play with, from being a sickler to not being a superman, from being invisible to not deserving golden ball . Need I say more? The latest now is that he did not pass the ball to Suares in the classico, as if we didnt watch the match. Did Suares complained about such? or the media are trying to cause disharmony in the team? Was there a clear example of when Messi had the ball with Suares free and asking for the ball? Imagine getting bashed like this everyday, how will he be motivated? Messi this, Messi that, Abegi give the guy a break jor The matter is just being blown out of proportion. It's no biggie I'm perplexed by the emboldened though |

homesteady: Why not? Compare the health implications of both of them and you'll see the difference clearly!
Also consider how both of them happened - Zidane headbutt happened during A WORLD CUP FINAL while suarez own just occurred in one normal match! I agree with Ajanlekoko. Biting is worse, well at least when you compare both scenarios. Plus suarez's is a case that's starting to get out of hand (that was his third). If he wasn't cautioned he probably would do it again. He should be lucky he got 4 months sef. If he tries it again on a football pitch that'll be the last time he'll kick a ball |

RuuDie: My thoughts on the clasico... I don't have all the facts on injury and all; just my feelings.
Busquets wasn't needed. Mascherano should have been played in midfield.
Mathieu should have played at Center-back.
Rakitic should have played in place of Xavi. If all had been this way you put it, would that had stopped us from being beaten ? |
