I guess this is the 2015 Kendall Jenner. She tried on a risky look, and although she may or may not have nailed it, she certainly looked uncomfortable in that outfit. Kendall’s hands were practically glued to the waist line of her leather trousers. Probably out of the fear that her open back could expose her butts. Kendall has had various fashion hits and misses in the past, and this is certainly a controversial look but what do you think, is it a hit or a miss? The youngest daughter of Nigerian oil tycoon and younger sister of Dj Cuppy, Temi Otedola has finally launched her online fashion magazine named jtofashion. Jtofashion is a combination of Temi’s fashion, art and photography skills which she intends to spread round the world. According to Temi, Fashion has been an obsession of mine since I can remember. I was the little girl who would dress up in all of my mother’s clothes and insist on styling my two older sisters. This obsession then became an appreciation as I began to follow various designers and also took fashion inspiration from various eras including the 60s. Pop singer, Rihanna rocked the beautiful Stella McCartney floor-length dress and ghollywood star, Yvonne Nelson rocked a very similar outfit. Rihanna wore it in May 2014 for the 2014 MET Gala and Yvonne Nelson graced the 2014 Ghana movies award in the black colour of the outfit. They both look absolutely gorgeous, but someone’s got to be more gorgeous. Which is your favourite? Rihanna or Yvonne? Boy meets girl, they fall in love and he takes her to meet his family. What is the twist in this classic tale directed by Tony Sebastian Ukpo? Well, the boy (Josiah Abiola played by Joseph Benjamin) is the only son in a Nigerian family and the girl (Samantha Smith played by Daniella Down) is a typical English rose. “And so what?” I hear you ask. Well the family live in Nigeria, yes our English rose travels across borders to meet Josiah’s family. On top of having to deal with the cultural shock that comes with crossing continents, she encounters a scheming mother who simply does not think she is good enough for her son and a scorned ex who is willing to break up their relationship. Will their love be able to transcend over these problems? You’ll have to watch the film to find out. The premier of Mum, Dad, Meet Sam showed me how far Nigerian movies have come. The industry is not the same as it was ten, even five, years ago. New faces are coming onto the scene and always with it comes flair of humour and originality true to the culture. I suppose the most exciting part of this development is the scale of growth that is still yet to be made. At this rate, the only way to go is up! http://blog.glamafrica.com/2014/12/21/mum-dad-meet-sam-movie-premier-photos-and-review/

Considering my job involves attending events, interviews etc all of which involves being seen by the same set of people, I usually worry too much about wearing the same outfit, shoe, jewellery over and over again. With experience, I have come up with a solution that benefits my pocket – DIY We recently shot the TV commercial for Glam Africa Fashion Night 2015 – click here to watch it – and we needed an African inspired statement neck piece for one of the models, considering it was 6pm and we only had a few hours before the end of the shoot, the only solution was DIY, and guess what it took five minutes. This is something you can try at home especially to give your old jewellery a new lease of life. - Get the Aldo Harmonie Bead Cluster Collar Neckpiece HERE for £30 - Get the Hackle Feather Fringe from HERE for £3 per every 5 inch length – you will need about 10 inches. - Now sew it in and you are ready to step out in style.
