I recently found out my girlfriend, while drunk, asked a mutual male friend if she could visit and sleep with him. She also apparently lied to him and said she had my permission. He refused, since he didn’t want to screw me over. They sort of have a past, which is nothing more than flirting long distance and he admitted that he’s had a crush on her for a while. Thing is, both she and I are doing really well (or so it seems). She’s gone to great lengths to please me and she is always extremely affectionate when we talk. We’re about to take a pretty big step in the relationship and she is beyond excited. Should this be cause for concern? On one hand she was drunk, but many people believe the truth comes out when you’re in such a state. I feel like this should be a huge deal breaker. I still trust her, but not 100%.

If the guy was your mutual friend and now you want to go up higher. Both of you certainly have pasts, that must have been considered before wanting to take major decisions. If his deeds with your girl friend or your girlfriends deed with him is a challenge then you don't need no advice just find someone else.

I quite concur here......People want to fit in and be acceptd at all cost,even to their peril.Society n trends are getting worse day by day.Life has never been about fitting in.At this point,what people should ask is,'How does the trend benefit me?' ,' Why should i conform?' The solution to every problem is always in the beginning cause if a challenge comes up while one follows a path then one must have missed a point @ the start. When how and and why did you start. Think about that and find the reason while you've kept @ it. Also break away from the catalysts (you know what I mean). There are a lot of sane guys here take time to find and make friends with them and put yourself on strict rules.am sure you'd break it with time (not in a day or week oh. And @ that point when you feel you've come to your breaking point that's when you should keep quiet listen to music, stay hopeful and say what you want and not what you are seeing. I always see light after I have almost given up.
