There are two major ways to gain admission in Nigerian Universities which are; JAMB exams or Direct entry(IJMB/JUPEB)
IJMB/JUPEB are equivalent to OND/NCE, but IJMB/JUPEB are held just for nine months unlike OND/NCE which is held for about three years.

However, using IJMB/JUPEB, you don't have to sit for JAMB anymore, all you need is your O'level result and you will be taken into 200 level within nine months.

JAMB results to be released on Monday hopefully....

Since the introduction of computer based exams under the former registrar Dibu Ojerinde, JAMB results has never been delayed this much.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says though it is intensifying efforts to ensure that results of the 2019 UTME are released after the Easter break, it would reach out to candidates through their telephone numbers as as soon as all the results are ratified.The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Lagos.According to him, candidates should not be carried away by what he described as rumours and misleading information in some sections of the media, especially the social media.
NAN reports that the 2019 UTME was conducted nationwide from Thursday, April 11 to Wednesday, April 18.Over 1.8 million candidates registered for the examination.“The board wants to distance itself from such rumours about releasing the results of candidates of the just-concluded UTME and steps to check these results as being speculated.
“Candidates should disregard this information, as it is not true. It is not emanating from the board.“No results have been released yet. Yes, the results are all ready, but we are yet to release them because they are still being ratified.“The board is carrying out all the checks and balances regarding these results by way of viewing the CCTV camera as well as attend to all findings brought before it while the examination lasted.

“The release of the result will be publicised as soon as we are through with all the board has set out to achieve. We will let the public know.“Candidates should not bother themselves going to any cyber cafe to check any result.
“Our result check has been standardised. We will forward the results to the respective telephone numbers of those candidates who are deserving of it,” he said.

Results won't be updated on the JAMB portal until after the exam. This is solely due to irregularities recorded as a result of incompetency of some CBT centres.

Op, this your information is out of date, JAMB don't use checker again, once result is out it will be at the top menu of their website @jamb.org. ng

@fathertony and @Neima, questions are not always the same, that is why it is called CBT, you can be lucky if two subjects match with your source or most of the time it doesn't match at all.

There is hope since he is not the only candidate

hello guys, my brother was supposed to sit for the jamb utme at the Federal government college kefti, Nasarawa state yesterday which is thursday 11th of april 2019, But was unable to do so due to technical issues.. The thumbprint scanner could not recognize his thumb despite several attempts, they were told to wait for update on the jamb site that their exams will be rescheduled, pls does anyone here know where i can lay complain? or anyone here with a good solution?


NOTE: THERE WERE ABOUT 15-20 PEOPLE AFFECTED ON SAME CENTRE AND SAME TIME

I repeat this thread is not meant for this.Morever, at this level of improvement in JAMB examination, you are still advertising result upgrade... Even questions and answers is still under probability. My brother to cut the long story short upgrade doesn't work again.May be under Dibu Ojerinde, but under Is-haq Oloyede upgrade doesn't work.

JAMB 2019 Exam result assistance for any candidates with low score or having any problem at the exam center should call for help now.

All the students I have spoken with have given good feedbacks so far, no irregularities, network failure, power disruption.
