sir going by this highlight, is this not the kind of display people are expecting from super eagles..dominate from beginning to the end…but because its jus 1-0 we now say its “honestly unimpressive”😃😃 its well sir

Simple. Ivory Coast actually participated in a match unlike Burundi.

BascoVanVeli watch at the 22 minutes mark where Charles Anazodo and every other person in the studio say that Amokachi and Akpeyi didn't pronounce Aina's name properly

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZrbf6r_xn4?si=xqOrzv05-OdLqHHv

So where was Ain-i said? They said it is pronounced A-i-nor. Well I have been pronouncing it the way they complained about for years and nobody has ever complained about it or corrected me. Plus they call him A-i-na in Europe and not one person cried out.

It is honestly a shame that someone who is supposed to be showing Amokachi and Akpeyi the ropes is coming out to spew this crap. That's some real buster stuff and that just let's me know those 2 are doing something right

Naaa Amokachi was correcting himself. Because in the first match he (Amokachi) was pronouncing Aina as Aini. He said someone corrected him on social media.

That was the other commentator.

I don’t know why few are complaining about his commentary yesterday

He did decently well and miles better than Ikpeba

What I love most was his confidence that the super eagles will win the game even before it started

Also I noticed whenever the white commentator tries to talk down on the super eagles Amo reminds him that we are Nigeria and that the super eagles shouldn’t be taken for granted. Also he hinted that super eagles are always at their best whenever they face tough oppositions

He even boasted that the CIV he saw against GB can’t beat the super eagles

Exactly. The other commentator has even slowly become a believer because everything Amokachi said has come to pass. It would have been very easy to go along and say Ivory Coast were favourites but he called them out and rightly so

Na God talk say I no go die for amokachi hand today with him wack commentary

Are u kidding me? Daniel Amokachi has been top class. His analysis are on point and he gives insight that only someone like him can give. We are lucky to have such a legend in the booth doing commentary. Plus I loved the part he corrected his cohost on pronouncing Aina. Dude kept on saying Ain-i grin

Watched the highlights and realized Moses Simon still plays greedy football.. Smh.

Dude is too greedy to pass the ball to any of his teammates to score!!

I think that was Samu and Bright.

It looks like the raptors are going to tank this season . They have traded Siakam and Anunoby, two of their best players... I expect Nwora to get more game time now ..

They won by 20 last night. They are turning the team over to Scottie Barnes, they also have some nice players like Quickly and RJ. Jordan should be able to fit in cos the teams needs 3 pt shooters

Roma duck up bad, They do even gave Jose cash to spend, yet he won them their First European Silverware,

U hit the nail on the head. He definitely over achieved at Roma.

No Oshoala. They are supposed to know the full story. To have a season like she did all the while being injured and have it overlooked by the very people who should know better is unforgivable.

Much respect to the Australian coach who went all Aussies in his voting.

Yeah, a lot of these countries now have players in Europe/developed leagues. Imagine a team like Equatorial Guinea parading only one home based player.

Gone are the days when the smaller teams will park the bus and hope for a slim defeat. Situations that played out in the 2026 WC qualifiers have started playing out in the AFCON again. It only tells us something: ''there are no more minnows in African football''.

I wouldn't expect borrow borrow to even have players of their own.

Peseiro should just start Osayi on the right and Aina on the left or Start Aina on the right and Bruno on the left,Sanusi yes a Porto player but lacks the modern day left back style, too rigid....pls is there any difference between Chukwueze and Simon.

Sanusi was definitely not bad yesterday. Missing those chances can't take away from the fact that he got into dangerous positions. If he keeps playing like he did yesterday we will be a very dangerous side.
