I hope you also know this isn't an isolated case. The same thing happened with the Super Eagles the last world cup qualifiers. The NFF scheduled the games so close the players were fatigued and this contributed to the double draws we had.

I remember a super falcons player explaining why travelling for national duty isn't a joy sometimes. The NFF for the most part look for cheap tickets for them. They sometimes have to have 2 stops before arrival because the NFF will rather go cheap than buy a direct flight. Little things like this go a long way.

The window is from the 1st to the 9th I don't think scheduling was up to the NFF. The Morocco vs Zambia games will be played on the same days as us.

At the end of the day 9 days is just not enough.

Not NFF’s fault ?
Not players fault ?
Easily ? Current African champions, they also got to round 16 in the last World Cup

Imagine it was super eagles and a World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
Frank Onyeka, Bassey, Ndidi, Ekong, osimhen are missing 48 hours to the game
grin
We are not serious
The South Africans are better at coordinating and organisation
Only thing we can bank on now is raw talent, prayer, rush hour experience, luck & heart. Who wants it more and can take the initiative on the field
The schedule was out a month ago
Just EXCUSES if you ask me

This means the South Africans are ready for the game today
I hope we can fine tune things before kick off time
Maybe they’ve already got the tactics & plan sorted out in a group chat
Early to camp may not really matter though
That’s how Morocco team that went to Ivory Coast got to camp early before Victor Osimhen
Before the New Year and still got knocked out in the quarter finals by South Africa

Abi u want them to send private jet? Isn't it the ticket available that u buy? I don't see what the NFF would have done to get people in earlier.
South Africa didn't play this bunch at the WAFCON. Our midfield is much better than it was and that is where that game was won.

I sincerely do not blame FIFA. The modality for qualifications is CAF and CAF should have chosen a better model that allows for a level playing field. Also, these dates didn't just appear, the FIFA window for these games have been public knowledge since last year. I think we could have planned better and asked the players for a little more commitment than usual. Rinsola and Monday plays for the same club but Gift was one of the first arrival while Rinsola arrived later yesterday. I know it's a bit difficult and won't fault the players, but I think we should have been better prepared.

U know what this is a great point. If we had paused a round of WAFCON qualifiers we would have been done during the last international break and that one was more spaced out. Especially when we are now hearing WAFCON is up in the air.

I really hope it doesn't happen but I won't be alarmed if South Africa beats us at home. The lack of coordination so far is concerning. It gives the impression that we aren't serious even though I want to believe the players aren't like that.

19 players are reported to be in camp so far many of whom arrived just yesterday. At least 3 players are still being expected and all 3 are our no 9. Asisat Oshoala, Ihezuo and Esther Okoronkwo. The earliest they'll arrive will be later today for a game that holds in 48 hours. They'll obviously be jetlagged and that could affect their effectiveness.

South Africa who are the guest had over 80% of their players already in Nigeria by Sunday. They are doing everything humanly possibly to win the game.

It will be painful if we miss this Olympics sha.

South africa have players based at home. Our players have to board flights to get here and we both know that anything can happen when it comes to that. I don't think this is a situation that the NFF is at fault. If anything I blame FIFA for
not arranging this break fairly. This gives a clear advantage to countries that use homebased players.

That said, if Waldrum gets things right we win EASILY

Because of injury, So why bring in GrandMa instead of Young Legs that are Capable and very much quicker instead of Mama that the SA forwards will easily outrun..!

Anyway we have grown past 40+ in the SuperFalcons, there’s no experience she wants to offer that the likes of Tochi, Ohale, Ayinde and Co can’t offer the younger ones!

Forward Ever! Cause I will rather have Zogg or Maureen or Okeke or Akudo instead of Mama Onome

U must think this is a friendly match or something. Let's move our feelings out the way, which one is Zogg or Maureen? Next! Akudo is injured and we already have Okeke in camp. I feel Christy will have to pair with Ohale but u look at the bench and there's skeletons. I have no problem if the coach wants to move on from her but saying she isn't a worthy option is wild to me.

If she is as washed up as u want us to believe no foreign club would have knocked on her door. Then for her to leave all what was offered by the Naija Ratels boss she must have been given a significant increase in pay. So make it make sense. Ur only out would be if she was just there to pass on experience off the field but then she is playing week in week out.

Neither are both leagues better than each other? By the way her Club in Israel can’t be compared with Ashleigh own in Saudi…

By the way I’m happy we have successfully moved past that Grandma in Defense..! Time for the Younger Bloods to come.

If not for injuries who will be here talking about wanting Onome in the team again?? We Move!!

The question was about leagues but of course u would move the goal post.

Al ittihad is average. They can't beat anyone in the top 4.

If u know that this debate is being held because of injuries what is the commotion about?

Are going to pick Onome Ebi over Ashleigh Plumptre right now

Onome Ebi have no Business in the SuperFalcons team again, if you want to her you can give her a Call Up!

So Randy wha no da invite her again since after World Cup nor know Wetin he da do na!

Is Saudi Arabia a better league than Israel yes or no Just stick to the she is too old angle cos she went to the world cup without a club and there is no way u can prove she got worse now that 2 clubs have taken chances on her.

IMO she is needed right now as a back up. No Tosin, Plumptre or Akudo. I trust her more than Shukurat who I think is a good young player but is just not ready.

Yes she has the Lung to play but let her continue playing at her Club side not the National Team… She no longer have the Capacity to Compete at the National Team Level as her game have dropped… Or are you trying to Pick a Player Playing in Israel which isn’t among the top 30 in Europe ahead of those based in (top5 -10) leagues in the World??
What is Saudi Arabia's rank Definitely not better than Israel. Let's stop abeg. U don't want her on the team and that's okay.

I think it's just a case or square peg in round hole. HVL shouldn't have transferred to LSU. She was phenomenal in Louisville last year and was potentially a first round picks in mock drafts. She should either have stayed in Louisville or go a program like Iowa that is sincerely a better fit. This has been a terrible year for her quite frankly.

She wanted to play point guard so iowa was never a fit from the get go. My problem really was with Mulkey that kept giving hvl chance after chance. Try something else for goodness sake.

Caitlin is like expected collateral damage. No point building your defense to stop her. On her good day she'll always put up crazy numbers. Just control what you can. And like you noted LSU has been terrible offensively. But this didn't start today sha. I've watched all their games since the tournament began and Flau'jae has been the one bailing them out.

Mulkey better go searching for a point guard because Hailey has been short one when it comes to controlling the game. To go from Alexis Morris to this version of HVL is criminal

Are you entertained yet Basco? My girl Caitlin is putting on a show. How the heck is Kim Mulkey allow HVL guard her? She's dropping 40+ on them like she did last year.

She's doing what she does so that is no news. U just have to tip ur hat to her for the shots she is making. Hailey has done a good enough job, it's not easy. LSU are just playing nonsense on offense

They definitely have a better team, but think Caitlin Clark especially when she's locked in won't allow a repeat of last years final. Also, if her team mates can't give just 50% (which seem to be happening so far) they are good.

The Bayou Barbie has other plans so far. Let's not forget LSU have the overwhelming advantage with coaching. Kim Mulkey is no joke

Iowa definitely winning (Supporting them). Flau'jae has been phenomenal for LSU all tournament through. Shey should be out of not for her.

It will be a good game but u just believe LSU have a better team. Let's see sha

The coach has to figure out a way to keep Gift, Rinsola and Koko on pitch at the same time.

All this blame game of pointing fingers to certain players is not cool at all. We were poor as a team yesterday. Just about every single player was poor. Maybe u can exempt Iheanacho and Nwabali but there was not much else to be excited about
