maasoap: Unfortunately, they were already back in Osun state since Thursday. My friends are seriously sick. They were locked up in cells, about 40 people in a single cell. They didn’t take bath for the whole period.
Next time they will think twice before going to another state when they are ask by the governor. You know they were also arrested during the Kogi election too.
Same also happens in Ondo state though they were not arrested, where Aregbe leave the state with many tankers full of kerosine to distribute to Ondo people so that they can vote there candidate but Ondo people are sharp they know that they are after the oil money not that they av there interest at heart.
Am ashamed for my governor but come 2014 by the grace of God he will be sent packing to where he came from i.e Lagos state

Am even suprise the 183 from the remaining 5 APC states(OYO, OGUN, EDO,LAGOS,EKITI) were not arrested. Thats how they normally do they will choose people from each of there local government and send them to the state were they are running for election.
Am from Osun state, and those 183 arrested comprises of at least 6 apc member from each local government from the state.
There is even a strong rumour going around down here that OSUN STATE COMMISSIONER FOR INFORMATION IS AMONG THOSE FAKE OBSERVERS ARRESTED and i thinks its true cos since the election in Anambra we havent been seeing or hearing him ranting on TV and radio

He has scored four
goals in two games for Portugal in the vital WC

Are people still going to say he was in fact not all
that great, should've tracked back more,
should've created more and his goals just mask these facts, doesnt perform on biggest occasions?

Unbelievable player, a cut above everyone else

PoliticsNigeria: Oduah - Lagos Denies Importation Of Bullet - Proof Car by Bash92(op): 7:48am On Nov 03, 2013
The Lagos State government has said it did not order
for bullet-proof vehicles BMW cars during the 18
National Sports Festival, which it hosted in 2012. The denial is coming on the heels of public outcry and
condemnation trailing the role of the state
government in the purchase of two armoured cars by
the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for the
Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah. The state government said it only requested regular
saloon cars, four wheel-drive vehicles and buses,
which it got from Coscharis, in its capacity as the
official vehicle provider for the sports. A source close to the Commissioner for Youths, Sports
and Social Development, Mr. Enitan Oshodi told our
correspondent that the state government duly made a
request to President Goodluck Jonathan for waiver. According to the source, the state government
requested waiver of destination inspection charges
and duty exemption on 300 vehicles, which were to
be used for the festival. "Following the offer of sponsorship of and provision of
vehicles for the festival by Coscharis Nigeria Limited,
the state government made a formal request to the
President as requested by the sponsors, which was
granted. "The request was duly granted by the President to the
issuance of a certificate of waiver in respect of the
duty payable on the importation of the cars by
Coscharis Nigeria Limited," the source said. The state government official added that the state
government had in its possession documents to show
the vehicles were supplied and used during the 18th
National Sports Festival. The source further told our correspondent , the
vehicles requested from Coscharis Nigeria Limited,
which was the sponsor of the festival, were limited to
saloon cars, four wheel drive vehicles and buses to
convey the 14,000 athletes and 10,000 officials who
attended the festival across the country.

SportsNFF Pay Keshi Part Of Is Salary by Bash92(op): 6:47pm On Nov 01, 2013
Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has been paid part
of his outstanding salaries, NFF Media director
Ademola Olajire says.
The Nigeria coach has not been paid for the last seven
months, and the revelation sparked outrage last
month.
But Olajire says that is being rectified. "The coach has been paid part of his outstanding
salary, and the Federation is working hard to pay him
the rest as soon as it is possible to do so," Olajire told KickOffNigeria.com, but declined to say exactly what that 'part' constitutes. However, another top official of the Federation, who
did not want his name mentioned as he is not
authorized to speak on the matter, told KickOffNigeria.com that what was paid to Keshi was two months wages. "We have paid him two months salaries, and we hope
to clear the rest before the end of the year."But Olajire says that is being rectified. "The coach has been paid part of his outstanding

SportsRe: Who Are The Biggest Prospects In The Golden Eaglets? by Bash92(m): 5:22pm On Oct 31, 2013
Austyn316: The present crop of under 17 team members are good players and would go far with the right mentoring and coaching. The team is a high goal scoring side and this is very good for the future of our football.

Before we get carried away, I feel this team will not win the competition. Forgive me if you feel I am not patriotic. Honestly, what we see are raw talents that are not being properly coached. I'm surprised that Emmanuel Amunike and Nduka Ugbade have not used their wealth of experience in bringing the boys up. (I'm not sure Manu the chief coach is a good coach. That's why I didn't mention him). The reason is that the team does not play with intelligence. Yes they move forward like a swam of bees but as soon as the opposition team makes a few changes, we get outwitted. Check all the games and what happens after the first half.

The boys only attack through the middle and I fear for them when they meet the Uruaguayans who are a more tactical side.

The boys are there but the coaching is a problem. Can you imagine that we don't have a good replacement for Isaac Promise?

Kanu, Oruma, Ojigwe and co were all old men when they played the under 17. There's no reason to compare them with the present crop of players. I however do not believe in the MRI scan thing. If Stanley Okoro who was 30 years old, the 27 years old captain, I've forgotten the name of that captain (we all know that Obuh enjoys using over aged players. That's why Abdul Jelili Ajagun will always be playing under 20 under Obuh).

I agree with you expecially that we might not win the cup. There first real test will be against Uruguay on saturday if we beat them then we migh win the cup.
NOTE: Uruguay beat us in the confederations cup, they also knocked us out of the under 20 world cup. CAN THEY DO A TRIPLE OVER US WITHIN 4 MONTHhuhhuh?

qualifying game played in Addis Ababa on
Sunday. The victory meant that the Super Eagles have now
gone 27 consecutive World Cup qualifying matches

This is an African record, and it is the 7th best run ever

PoliticsObasanjo Affected By Gbenga's Rumoured Death by Bash92(op): 9:04pm On Oct 03, 2013
beokuta – Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was depressed ,Thursday, immediately he received the rumoured news that his son, Gbenga, was among the victims who died when the Akure-bound Chattered Associated Airline crashed in Lagos.

Obasanjo, clad in a white flowing agbada with blue cap, was a guest at a leadership training programme held at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, when he received a call during a photo session with attendees of the programme.

Vanguard correspondent, who was at the event observed that the former president received many calls during the session while the expression on his face showed that something was wrong.

Obasanjo was seen shivering and shaking shortly after he received the rumoured news, but comported himself and gently left the venue.

During the conversation with one of his callers, Obasanjo loudly said; “which Gbenga? But, he is in Abuja”

Holding the hands of his friend, Prof. Akin Mabogunje, they went straight into a room within the Library complex where they spent almost one hour.

Vanguard learnt that Obasanjo was relieved after speaking with Gbenga.
