maasoap: Unfortunately, they were already back in Osun state since Thursday. My friends are seriously sick. They were locked up in cells, about 40 people in a single cell. They didn’t take bath for the whole period.Next time they will think twice before going to another state when they are ask by the governor. You know they were also arrested during the Kogi election too. Same also happens in Ondo state though they were not arrested, where Aregbe leave the state with many tankers full of kerosine to distribute to Ondo people so that they can vote there candidate but Ondo people are sharp they know that they are after the oil money not that they av there interest at heart. Am ashamed for my governor but come 2014 by the grace of God he will be sent packing to where he came from i.e Lagos state |
Am even suprise the 183 from the remaining 5 APC states(OYO, OGUN, EDO,LAGOS,EKITI) were not arrested. Thats how they normally do they will choose people from each of there local government and send them to the state were they are running for election. Am from Osun state, and those 183 arrested comprises of at least 6 apc member from each local government from the state. There is even a strong rumour going around down here that OSUN STATE COMMISSIONER FOR INFORMATION IS AMONG THOSE FAKE OBSERVERS ARRESTED and i thinks its true cos since the election in Anambra we havent been seeing or hearing him ranting on TV and radio |

He has scored four goals in two games for Portugal in the vital WC qualifiers vs Sweden. Are people still going to say he was in fact not all that great, should've tracked back more, should've created more and his goals just mask these facts, doesnt perform on biggest occasions? Unbelievable player, a cut above everyone else in the world right at the imo. Unreal!!!! |

MEMBERs of the House of Representatives Tuesday mandated the House Committee on Police Affairs to summon the Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Abubakar to explain the role of the police in the alleged harassment of G-7 Governors at the Kano state Government House on Sunday. The committee is also expected to ascertain the circumstances leading to the invasion of the Kano’s Governor’s lodge by the men and officers of the Nigeria Police Force under the command of a divisional Police Officer, DPO and report back to the House within two weeks. This development was sequel to a motion brought to the floor of the House under matters of National Importance by Rep Idris Kutigi, PDP, Niger state. The motion which was signed by other 60 members and titled: ‘IMPUNITY AND DISREGARD TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA,1999 (AS AMENDED) BY THE NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE’. Drama however started immediately the motion was announced on the floor of the House as the sharp division between the old bloc and new bloc PDP reared its ugly face again. The old bloc tried to kill the motion but with the heavy support of the opposition the splinter PDP carried the day.MEMBERs of the House of Representatives Tuesday mandated the House Committee on Police Affairs to summon the Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Abubakar to explain the role of the police in the alleged harassment of G-7 Governors at the Kano state Government House on Sunday. The Lagos State government has said it did not order for bullet-proof vehicles BMW cars during the 18 National Sports Festival, which it hosted in 2012. The denial is coming on the heels of public outcry and condemnation trailing the role of the state government in the purchase of two armoured cars by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for the Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah. The state government said it only requested regular saloon cars, four wheel-drive vehicles and buses, which it got from Coscharis, in its capacity as the official vehicle provider for the sports. A source close to the Commissioner for Youths, Sports and Social Development, Mr. Enitan Oshodi told our correspondent that the state government duly made a request to President Goodluck Jonathan for waiver. According to the source, the state government requested waiver of destination inspection charges and duty exemption on 300 vehicles, which were to be used for the festival. "Following the offer of sponsorship of and provision of vehicles for the festival by Coscharis Nigeria Limited, the state government made a formal request to the President as requested by the sponsors, which was granted. "The request was duly granted by the President to the issuance of a certificate of waiver in respect of the duty payable on the importation of the cars by Coscharis Nigeria Limited," the source said. The state government official added that the state government had in its possession documents to show the vehicles were supplied and used during the 18th National Sports Festival. The source further told our correspondent , the vehicles requested from Coscharis Nigeria Limited, which was the sponsor of the festival, were limited to saloon cars, four wheel drive vehicles and buses to convey the 14,000 athletes and 10,000 officials who attended the festival across the country. www.allafrica.com/stories/201311030045.html/?maneref=http%3A%2F%2Fmobile.newsnow.co.uk%2FA%2F677248794%3F-395 |

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has been paid part of his outstanding salaries, NFF Media director Ademola Olajire says. The Nigeria coach has not been paid for the last seven months, and the revelation sparked outrage last month. But Olajire says that is being rectified. "The coach has been paid part of his outstanding salary, and the Federation is working hard to pay him the rest as soon as it is possible to do so," Olajire told KickOffNigeria.com, but declined to say exactly what that 'part' constitutes. However, another top official of the Federation, who did not want his name mentioned as he is not authorized to speak on the matter, told KickOffNigeria.com that what was paid to Keshi was two months wages. "We have paid him two months salaries, and we hope to clear the rest before the end of the year."But Olajire says that is being rectified. Austyn316: The present crop of under 17 team members are good players and would go far with the right mentoring and coaching. The team is a high goal scoring side and this is very good for the future of our football.I agree with you expecially that we might not win the cup. There first real test will be against Uruguay on saturday if we beat them then we migh win the cup. NOTE: Uruguay beat us in the confederations cup, they also knocked us out of the under 20 world cup. CAN THEY DO A TRIPLE OVER US WITHIN 4 MONTH ![]() ? |

The Super Eagles of Nigeria claimed an African record when they defeated the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia 2-1 in the 2014 World Cup qualifying game played in Addis Ababa on Sunday. The victory meant that the Super Eagles have now gone 27 consecutive World Cup qualifying matches without a loss. Record . This is an African record, and it is the 7th best run ever in world football. The last time the Eagles lost a World Cup qualifier was the 1-0 loss away to Angola in 2004. Violence started when Aregbesola entered the state. As you are from oshogbo you dont need to be told what happen when he first came to the osun osogbo festival. |
