Peacecore: You criticised Buhari for not having certificate n worked against him on the polls, blaming his bad performance to low education. Now u are supporting a dunce, an ordinary dancer against what u stood for. Is that not double standard? Who are you to call him a dunce, if his dancing is giving you guys headache that's your problem. I am voting him because atleast the state money will not be squandered or siphoned to Lagos. I am voting him because if he his doing the wrong thing, he has a family at his back that can call him to order and do what the people want. I am voting him because his family have stayed through to osun state with investment in the state. I am voting because as a Yoruba man he will not spoil the family good image in the state. Finally I am voting him because he his what osun need currently, someone to address the mess the APC government have put us into over there 12 years of misrule in the state |

IamNat: And you should go and check the history, no governor in Osun was ever able to pay salary without owing salary throughout their tenure.
Oyetola made it clear to Osun people from inception that he may not be able to do plenty of capital projects, but he promises to not owe them salaries and that's what he did. see lier, Oyinlola didn't owe the workers a dime. It has always been AD and APC that owe workers. Except Oyetola and we know is second term he will stop paying salaries |

Tell him to join DAVIDO. He's a good dancer..he will safe Davido a lot of money.. Your bsc, msc and PhD holders, what have they done for the state than to impoverished us. The debt owed by the state thanks to the APC government only God knows how many years it will take to pay it back. With no meaningful development to show. Also what most of you don't know is that being eloquent does not mean they have the well being of the people at heart. Most of you are not even resident in Osun state, yet you want them to continue to misrule us. By God's Adeleke has already won this one. He is a dancer we like him like that. He cannot speak English, thank you who English help. |

Ejigbo APC Iwo APC Ila APC Odo Otin APC Osogbo APC OlorundaAPC EdeNorth PDP EdeSiuth PDP. Boripe PDP Ifelodun APC Ayedade APC OROLU APC IrewoleAPC etc In some local governments it may be keen but APC will still win there! Lols, you are far from reality. I will be voting in orolu tomorrow and I can 100% assure you that APC will not smell victory. Them dey lose here steadily ni. Also Osun East senatorial (Ilesha and Ife zone ) is a known PDP stronghold, infact the only pdp senator from Osun is from Ilesha. So the maximum APC can win in the 6 ijesha local government is 2lga. Also i can promise you Omisore won't deliver all the ife local government. The only local government sure for Oyetola is his own and Omisore lga. You even mentioned Ifelodun for APC, a local government where there king was campaigning FOR APC in 2018 and yet the king still lost Ifelodun with more than 3000 vote to PDP. Now that the king is late I am expecting the margin to be wider. Lastly majority of the vote Omisore garnered in 2018 is returning to PDP. Also APC should expect surprise in Osogbo. |

These elections are of different motifs That's what they understand, on Saturday I will be voting for PDP. I have never voted for APC since I started voting but Tinubu will have my vote in 2023. Politics › Re: Permutation For Upcoming Osun Governorship Election by Bash92(m): 11:58am On Jul 05, 2022 |
Peacecore: There are other things that happens in second term bid of a governor in a rotational arrangement. The zone that have to gain power after four years will prefer to vote the present governor who has only one tenure for it to be their turn than wait for another 8yrs. This happens even when the zone doesn't like the governor. My brother u are wrong to say that Tinubu factor will mar Oyetola's chance. Just wait till flag off, u will understand. Tinubu just have to go there, tell them to get ready for 2023 by making sure that every state in SW becomes APC. They can even accuse Adeleke of vowing to work against Tinubu if he emerge victorious. This governor is fighting for his second term, not just for his successor. So don't right off power of incubency and money politics. There's no way PDP can outspend APC. Sir if indeed you are from Osun you will know in this coming gubernatorial election, majority of the people just want the APC out of the state and don't care about zoning except the people in Osun west. Already Oyetola have lost 3 local government in osun central even before election start, Orolu, irepodun and egbedore because of the osogbo - ogbomosho Road that have been abandoned by the APC government for more than 10 years now. In as much as osun people will vote Tinubu massively in 2023,including myself. He will only be doing more harm to his ambition if he comes out to say the above or try and help manipulate the election. You should know the Yorubas in Osun, Oyo and Ogun State are very vindictive when we think we are being cheated or betrayed and the people won't mind rewarding that act of treachery even if it will cost them there life. Personally I like Oyetola, i believe he has tried with the meager resources and believed that it was Aregbesola borrowing that did not allow him to perform better. But this coming election i dont see how he wants to win it, except through RIGGING and Top members realigning with APC again. |

seunmsg: The only south south state Obi might win is Edo state due to the internal wrangling in the state’s PDP chapter. Even at that, it’s a big IF.
Atiku will still win Delta, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Rivers if they find a way to resolve with Wike. APC may likely win Cross River and come second in Edo, Delta, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa.
Overall, PDP should win SS, APC second and LP a distant third. Nothing is going to change. APC will win Edo, with Tinubu on the ballot. If not that Okowa was choosing as Atiku vice, Delta would have been very close between APC and PDP. Between you are being generous with your projection for Labour Party ó. |

He is not changing anything from past results, in fact, APC will lose steam. Or did you think that APC got whatever votes in 2019 because of Sanwuolu?
One thing I know is that LP and PDP will wreak havoc on APC both in Lagos and all SW states, because of the Muslim-Muslim ticket.
This I know, and this I have seen. The Muslim Muslim ticket will not wreck any havoc in South West and Edo state. The margin will be very wide between now APC and others |

No to Muslim - Muslim ticket. Stop marginalizing the Northern Christian.
I am a Muslim. I am a Yoruba boy. I stand with Tinubu, but if he accepts another Muslim from the North, then I may not vote in the election. I am from Osun and we have had Christian-Christian governor nd deputy and in July we might have another one. Voted for the first one in 2004 and 2007, God willing I will be voting for another Christian Christian again July. Is Christian the major religion Osun? I believe same as happened in Ogun State too before. It is fine when it is Christian Christian and not fine when it is Muslim Muslim. In Ekiti and Ondo have they ever given even a vp slot to the Muslim minority? Imagine some Christians wishing death on Tinubu because Osinbanjo loose the primary. What good has Buhari and Osinbanjo, two reportedly religious bigot done for us as a Nigerian? The point of my epistle is you should not let any Christian guilt trip you. fergie001: Simple.
The main target is Deji his brother. The Adelekes are new entrants to the PDP and most at Osun PDP feel Ademola is not capable enough but Deji practically almost single-handedly funds the PDP in Osun. The NWC's hands are tied because the Party will go comatose without money from the Adelekes. At a point, Makinde was funding the Oyinlolas & all that but I believe Jegede a good friend of both parties is already mending fences. The funny thing is that Oyinlola and the Adelekes moved out of PDP the same day in 2013 or 2014 if i remember correctly. I think another reason is control, i believe the elders of the party, Oyinlola included want someone they can control which they know they can't do with the Adelekes. |

naijainstinct: We have tried to be reasonable. We have tried to attack issues and not personalities but these "head slammers" (yes we will descend to their level) have decided to use divisive politics of religion to malign the opponent who is giving them headache instead of using that energy to tell us what they would do differently.
The shaky-shaky senile Daddy who is spending laundered drug and state money to sponsor educated bigots like Kperogi will continue to wet his pants uncontrollably if he doesn't desist from the indirect attack of churches.
RCCG openly supported Osinbajo, and so? Is it not in this country that MURIC, MIYETI ALLAH and other ethnic and religious groups have been endorsing their favourite candidates and maligning those they consider a threat?
In 2015, NEF threatened fire and brimstone for APC to stick to zoning as it favoured the north. After 8 straight years of holding power, NEF suddenly realises that zoning is unconstitutional just to favour the narratives of their selfish will to hold power forever.
Tinubu is a northern puppet. We refuse to support a drug baron, drug addict, fantastically corrupt, divisive, desperate, senile, dementia-stricken, head-slamming fanatic as our president.
OBJ - 8 years (Christian Southerner) Yaradua - 3 years+ (Northern Muslim) Jonathan - 4 years + (Southern Christian) Buhari - 8 years (Northern Muslim)
It is an unwritten rule that is now turn for a Christian President of Southern Extraction.
I laugh at Tinubu because who will he pick as his Christian running mate that the North will support? Or you head-slammers also want to force a muslim-muslim candidature on us? Lmao
I am not a RCCG member, neither can I call my a very devoted Christian but no one has the Presidency as their birthright in this country. Enough of these bullshit. Next we will be releasing publications on your drug lord.......since that is how low you all want us to go.
Happy birthday birthday mate. More of God's blessings on you I pray A Southern Muslim can not be president abi? Also why must they always been from Ogun State. Religion i not even a criteria for me, cos if Akinwunmi Adesina had come out to declare for president I would have supported him and campaign for him. All Kperugi or what's his name said about the RCCG is true, they even see other Christians that do not belong to there denomination as a lesser Christian. Why must it always be Christian southerner, why not a Muslim southerner this time and a northern Christian when whoever got elected in 2023 finish is term. |

Ekiti and Ondo are likely to go together for Fayemi while Osun, which ordinarily had been in the hands of Asiwaju, has a new power player in the person of Senator Iyiola Omisore, the National Secretary of the APC.
Given insinuations at the last National Convention where it was alleged that the Asiwaju Camp did not back Omisore’s bid for National Secretary until the last minute, the prospect of a hit back is not impossible.
As one top APC member asked, how will Omisore forsake Fayemi who pushed for his nomination to support Tinubu?
I stopped reading here, am not a fan of Tinubu, but the writer don't know what he his saying. Asiwaju brought omisore back into APC and has been supporting, the new closeness between Asiwaju and Omisore is one of the major issues Aregbesola have with Tinubu and Oyetola. Also Fayemi did not support Omisore, rather he supported one Oyedele I think from Ondo. This newspaper will just be writing nonsense. |
