Hello good people, my wife interview is in jan.2022, am a student in Deutschland, please i have been going through the threat to get an interview set of questions but have not found one, also the lawyer verification process and what document to be verified please...could someone help with the breakdown?

What I meant by verification completed in September was the lawyer told me he submitted my verification already and all is fine

And the email I got from the embassy 2wks ago

The thing is I noticed if you don’t disturb the embassy they’ll just sit and do it at their own convenience

I nocticed anytime my wife call or email them

After 2days I get a reply from them

She called told them the lawyer submitted docs since 1month ago what is delaying the process the lady there said they’re still yet to get the verification

She wrote to them it seems the person they gave the verification lost it and she will contact a lawyer to work on it lolz 2days later I got verification completed

After that immediately they sent another email to submit updated A1 Cert I did the exams 3days later scored 84 and sent it to them once it got there I called the embassy they said I should wait

She called them they said they’re waiting for the reply from Germany she called ausland office immediately they said they replied Nigeria already that all is fine again she wrote to Nigeria to ask why this delay when all proccess is completed the next day I got email to submit passport and insurance

And was asked to submit A1 certificate asked to send passport last week now I am with my passport and visa issued

Germany I’m coming next week

Thank you all my passport have left the embassy once I get it I’ll give the whole duration and how and what made it abit faster (family reunion)

This man be patient, the embassy needs 7 days to dispatch your documents to the courier without contacting you, your documents must have been with the courier, you just have to wait till they contact you. At this point, the embassy May not provide you with further information even when you email them. Just be patient.
This was exactly my case. I had to relax till the courier called me.

Its been almost 8 working days now since I submitted travel insurance and travel date at the embassy,but still yet no contact from them,gotten nothing,who else expirenced this,how do I get all my documents back or know if it has been shipped? Thank you all for your reply

Please where can I get a cheap insurance for the embassy the requested my travel date and insurance today

Yes it's possible. My wife did not get a verification completed Email also, what she got was the approval Email after VISA was approved.

Hello fellow Nairalanders I’ve don my A1 exam today and got the result and I passed but please can I send soft copy to the embassy or I need to send them the hard copy

Please I need a reply as I want to send it tomorrow

Please the embassy gave me a deadline on getting the Goethe A1 that expired with them now there are not exams in Goethe Lagos until after a while what can I do ?

Can I write to request an exam from Goethe Lagos ?
What about writing in another country (Dubai )or others ?

If yes any suggestions to which countries?

Not at all. My visa has not been approved, they just want the the details of the verification process to enable them make a decision ASAP.

Applied for family reunion visa in September 2019
Interview date was in August 2020, lawyer visited a week after.
Verification completed January 2021.
Approval mail received May 2021.
Visa granted and travelled in June 2021.

It takes a ton of patience, alot of anticipation fit kill person. Yours is on the way soon.

I went for interview on the 21st of June and the lawyer came on 24th October. Since then I have heard nothing. A mail was then sent to my wife from Ausländer that the consulate in Lagos are not responding to their pressure to speed up my application. I guess they are a bit overstretched with the load of work from 2020.

You’ll usually get the results sent to your email same day. They have another branch on the mainland too Incase that would be closer for you.

Please does anyone have any idea about the travel rule to Germany now from Nigeria,are unvaccinated travelers allowed to travel? Or just the negative covid 19 test result will work,and also where can the covid test be taken? My greetings to all, as I await a positive response
