"Here lies the gentle, sweet man Nigeria loved to cheat. They denied him even in death the normal six feet of earth."

Good news, but when are they going to "internationalize" the Enugu airport? I look forward to the day I can fly directly from overseas to Igboland without setting foot on any part of the nigerian dungeon .

if you want to fly straight to igboland why dont you use the international airport at omagwa portharcourt thats what i use and mose people from imo,abia and rivers thats what they use. airfrance , klm,italia and some other asian airlines ply that route. enugu airport is meant to serve the SE/middle belt people that are not close to ph ,lagos or abuja and not igbos.

tribalist threads should be deleted not moved, the tribalism section should not even exist at all , seun your doing a lot of damage incase you dont know, you think its everybody that is  matured enough to handle what they read here. the better you start deleting all those tribalist ,filthy ,disgusting threads the better for us and the future generation.  if not of those tribalist threads nairaland would have been a wonderful place to exchange ideas but people are distracted and too busy reading or posting nasty stuffs about their  fellow nigerian or their fellow african, its such a shame.

Zik fought for our independence and that is why we Nigerians love him but I am saying awolowo and ehanero did the same.

they said the first univerisity and i said they are wrong, they first insulted me before they then changed it to "indigenous" university

they spoke of independence and thanks to henry's post, it showed that he was BEGGING for the independence and did NOT fight for it. moreover awolowo and enahaniro fought for the same and i don't see people shouting his name out

they spoke of africa bank but he NEVER STARTED the bank, he only bought shares in it. which he was even accused of that the shares were low.

alj harem what do you mean zik did not fight for independence while awolowo did?? so did awolowo go with guns and knives to fight for the indepedence? you cannot rewrite history , when you talk of nigeria independence Zik is the first person to be mentioned . i dont know much about first universities and banks maybe i will do a proper research on that. Zik was the greatest among his peers then , he was the last governor general of nigeria and the only nigerian governor general plus the first president of nigeria . while Awo was was popular in the western region and amahdu bello in the north ,Zik was popular across africa . Zik Also united nigeria he is the reason we were even one nigeria in the first place(this i hate to admit)

theres already an airforce base in enugu and ph why do you need another in warri and asaba, ph base can cover warri ,abi una wan go bomb benin or onitsha

i will keep saying it , the only reason the south east will loose in 2015 is if the south west decide to vote a northerner which of course is not going to happen. them bringing out a candidate whether fashola will be political suicide for the whole south cause the SE will never back down giving the fact the SW have produced a president before with the SE support (whether rigged or not all na support).

north the question is how would they get it. well easy

the south-south especially the ijaws have ALWAYS voted for us and all we just need to do is to protect them from yoruba and igbo domination

NC is a mixture of yoruba and hausa/fulani kanuri so at least 50%

you need at least 25 % from other regions which your not going to get in the SE or SS EVEN NC  is begining to loose its shackles from the NE ,NW. however the problem will be when both a SE and SW  person are contesting but i dont expect the SW to produce a candidate knowing well how badly the SE  wants to produce the president unless they are indirectly supporting the north. the SE can easily beat NW and NE cause they will get the total vote of SE SS  ,majority of SW and up to required percentage of NC,NE and NW.
