Role Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for financial control, inventory accounting, payroll administration, statutory compliance, and monthly management reporting within a manufacturing environment. The role requires strong attention to detail, cost discipline, and system-driven thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory accounting and perform monthly stock reconciliation.
Track production costs and analyse Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, cash flow summary, cost analysis).
Conduct weekly bank reconciliations.
Process payroll accurately and ensure statutory deductions are compliant.
Ensure timely VAT, WHT, and other statutory filings.
Support ERP implementation and maintain financial system controls.
Support external audit and regulatory reviews as required.

REQUIREMENTS
B.Sc or HND in Accounting or related discipline.
4–7 years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or inventory-heavy environment.
ICAN/ACCA qualified or finalist strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory control.
Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, Zoho, QuickBooks or similar) is an advantage.
