materrazzi01: I can't just stop laughing with you telling me that ado/odo otta have 70%. What's happening in oju oore? Is it not road I spent roughly 2hrs on? When he went to ilaro what happened? One of his supporters was shot dead. He went to Ipokia and nothing to tell them he has done than to promise them. Same thing in ketu. Am not someone u can be telling things about ogun politics because I know much about it. Abeg tell me more about the Local Government under Ogun west and the most populated area. And how Oju oore sorry on which road you spend 2hour Federal or State road? you be complete FOOOL. I stay in Otta Oke Ola to be precise and i also spend more than 2hours on that same Oju oore road from front of Honda company to Oju oore and that is Federal road that lead to the idiroko border. Now tell me is Amosun responsible for the hold up? You just should first ask about the jurisdiction of Government on each road. Some idiot will be blaming fashola on hold up on Lagos/Abeokuta express road, Some on Apapa road and some on 3rd mainland and those roads belong to the federal Government and not state road and same is idiroko road that you said you spend 2hours on. Sorry if i may ask when last did you spend 30min on Ilo Awela road? |

materrazzi01: Bros, there is nothing to wait and see. Am an indigene of ogun state and I have spent the majority of my life here. Amosun is a gooner. Amosun have is stronghold in egba which is where pdp will bring their candidate(dimeji) as well. Which split is vote. Am from ogun west, Amosun can't point to one tangible achievement over here and beside this, majority of apc followers here are Osoba loyalities and they've all decamped to SDP. I doubt if he can get 30percent of total vote here. Ijebu side will repay in for calling their son a bastard. As it stands now,his hope is on egba people which will be spilt btw Dimeji,Osoba and himself. Shut up ans trop spreading lies, Which of the bankole are you talking about? is it the same bankole that lost in his father house in 2011? is it the same bankola that lost his own polling unit in 2011? have you forgotten when OBJ ask Bankola not to waste his money? You said something about Ogun west that he did not do anything you most be a joker.... Which part of Ogu west are you from? We in Ado odo otta as seen the work of Amosun and we are behind him and 70% of Ogun west votes come from Ado/Odo Otta.. come and see what's on ground... Amosun has change the face of Otta completely and still doing more... Ilo Awela road, Oju oore road, Sango-ijoko-to Akute/Berger nko. so Oga stop deceiving yourself. |

onatisi: bros ,there is no point arguing with ppl here on nairaland ,they don't know anything about politics and they will keep arguing and insulting u. I have been telling ppl for months that ogun state is not sure for apc,but many naïve ppl here kept saying ppl like amosun and that he has built bridges. Ok. When osoba and c decamped last week ,I told ppl that there will still more defections ,there is no way amosun can win if his party keeps losing members .but believe me many will still argue that amosun is loved . I have always said it,the problem facing tinubu now is more than buhari or atiku presidential ticket, apc is facing the full onslaught of the pdp ,and it is a fact that apc will still drop 2 or more states in the south west. The problem facing tinubu and apc now is how to retain the south west which is fast slipping from their hands. Tinubu and co will rather channel all their resources to winning the south west Oga Amosun has is a very strong candidate and he is stronger than Osoba and the decampee combined. Amosun is part of the strong Ogun ruin osoba second term in 2003 so let Osoba go and rest and those that decampe will loose there seat in 2015 let them go and ask Bankole. |

Swizdoe: Yeah..... Let's keep our fingers crossed till then. But if you are really familiar with the political atmosphere, you would know that amosun has lost touch with grassroots especially in the east and west senatorial districts..... His 20 LGA tour is just an avenue to regain his lost relevance..... But this is a bitter pill that APC and one deluded clown that quoted me earlier can't swallow You keep Ranting, Even OBJ has approved the second term of Amosun and that is final.. We the masses will bring him back with our votes. |

onatisi: thanks for ur mature reply. But believe me ,kwara is for pdp. The only state out of the 3 which I mentioned that is maybe 60% sure for apc is oyo state ,and that is due to the fact that ladoja is keen on contesting and if he contests that will mean 3 big parties with equal porpularity will be going to the polls, that is why pdp and gej are trying to woo ladoja back to pdp with the governorship ticket so that both accoord and pdp will merge,if this doesn't happen then ajimobi has a chance. In the case of ogun, you have to realize that the greatest problem any party can have is if your members turn against you. The apc faction that just left now are not keen on winning but they are the ones who will do everything to make sure that amosun loses. The in fighting in apc is what will cause its downfall in ogun state. Tinubu knows this and this necessitated his visit to obj so that obj can instruct his boys in ogun pdp to decamp to apc and neutralize the negative effect of osoba defection on the party.that is the only thing that can save amosun ,forget the issue of amosun popularity how many of those shouting and hailing amosun has voters cards ? I dont have a voters card and haven't vote since 2003. But i am going to register this time around to vote for Amosun and i know there are lots like me who have the same mindset cos Amosun has open our eyes to defend of democracy. |

He cannot eat his cake and have a penny! Tambuwal should be honest with himself. APC as a party can never take it and APC should not expect PDP to accept it. How can the opposition preside in a House where the ruling party is in the majority? Haba,Nigerians should be honest!! Are you this daft? did the constitution indicate the party where the speaker or the senate president should come from? The house should left to decide by itself. |

An entirely plausible mistake given it was very early in the day, and considering the proximity of the "." and "," on a qwerty keyboard. The correct value is still N7,791M which was equivalent to $12b. Which still makes liars on both sides as it invalidates the claim that Nigeria earned less than $1b in 1977, and also the claim that Nigeria earned $14b. Oga how are you calculating your own to get to $12b instead of $12m |

Abagworo: There's nothing you and your likes can write to cover the truth. I've thought deeply and realized that there is no single completed federal road in the entire Southeast and South-South under Jonathan's watch. If there is any please list them. On the other hand the rally was held at a Stadium completed by Amaechi. Even the Airport has not been completed till date. It is such a shame that you could shy away from this simple truth just because of regionalism.
Now let me list few things completed by Amaechi
Over 350 public schools of unequalled standard.
Over 140 health centres.
Olu Obasanjo road complete with underground drainage
Stadium road complete with underground drainage
Port-Harcourt/Owerri expressway complete with underground drainage at every settlement and streetlights to Imo boundary.
Rumuola road complete with underground drainage
NTA road to Choba complete with underground drainage
Ada George road complete with underground drainage
Elekahia road complete with underground drainage
Oginigba/Slaughter road complete with underground drainage
Old Aba road complete with underground drainage.
These are just few out of many. Bro God go help me bless, I like people arguing base on fact and proof... |

Osezzua: I beg to disagree with u my brother. Obj only concluded a process Abacha's regime started - talking about GSM. Also, u have to remember, we have 2 different personalities here. Obj is one and Gej another. To this end there must b glaring differences between these two. Gej isn't a war time president, n wether u like it or not Nigeria has been at civil war since d days of Obj against Niger Delta militants n now with Boko Haram, if u doubt me check our security budget n u will discover Nigeria currently spends over 60% of her national budget on security. Amaechi n co have treated the office of d president with so much disrespect n profanity. This has to STOP. Fashola doesn't address d presidency that way. If u feel u are popular, pick a form and vie for d post. Remember, the heretic of an age, is usually the Saint of d other. Rather than focus on what Gej has not done, why don't we concentrate on the positive things he has done? things like revitalisation of our railways, addition of 6 federal universities, stabilisation of crude oil production, construction of roads, privatisation of power sector to increase productivity, introduction of Almajiri schools, completion of several power projects, etc. I know we still have a long way to go, but at least we are still moving. I'm not a politician, I don't support any party also, but I know that our leaders ought to b respected by us all if we all want to b respected outside. This is my take. You said OBJ completed what Abacha started can you remember someone also rule Nigeria for about 11months before OBJ why can't he conclude the deal Abacha started? We are talking about insecurity and you during GEJ and you saying it's because OBJ has fought war in the past or something...what has that got to do with tackling insurgent? You said Ameachi insult GEJ, Where are you when PEJ is insulting Ameachi a duly elected Governor and a mere first lady who is not even recognize by the constitution. Bro GEJ brought that upon himself by not focusing on Nigeria instead he is tackling Decamp Governors.... You said 60% of our budget are being spend on security but half of that are been looted and that is the reason why military boys open fire on there Boss in Maiduguri. The $9.7m and $5.3 seize in SA was looted and because breeze blow fowl yansh open and they change story and said it's meant for arm. Then why negotiate with BH boys then when you know you going to buy arms. |

atlwireles: I have tired to get some answers from the Buhari apologist, but as usual, they have nothing to say. My back and fort here was because of the following comment
Let us be sincere - the 2.8billion Dollar case was in 1977. Nigeria's budget was 1.1 billion - how does one "minister" steal 3 years budget?
I that year, Saudi Arabia did not earn 2 billion dollars so how does Nigeria have such. Even 1984 (6+ years AFTER), Nigeria paid just 50 Million Dollars as TOTAL ANNUAL debt.
Let us stop ridiculing ourselves by behaving as if our brains are leaking with these daft stories
My reply to this poster was to remind him that Nigeria earned about $14B from crude oil sales in 1977 . I was actually not correct, Nigeria actually earned about $17B, because after the sharing with the IOCs Nigeria was left with N6,080M as captured by the budget. By the way that is the same thing as N6.08B. I thought the sharing formula was 50/50 instead it was 55/45, because of the 1974 Second Participation Agreement, Federal Government increased their equity to 55%.
The miracle the APC people wanted us to believe was Nigeria did not even earn $1B in 1977, how can $2.8B be missing. Nigeria earned about $17B in 1977, because we collected 55% of the oil revenue which was N6.080M roughly $9.6B.
So, yes, Buhari would not account for $2.8B is not a tale by moonlight.
