Goosethetruth: This is the issue I have with Arsenal fans. They hate the truth. If you had problems comprehending what I posted then I am sorry I can't help you. Until Arsenal fans understand that Arteta is a 4th rate clone of Pep Guardiola,Arsenal is going nowhere and will not win any trophies this season . I hope you realise that Arteta should have been sent off yesterday for handling a live ball and obstruction of an Inter Milan goal opportunity. This is the over emotion that Arsenal fans call coaching. Jumping up and down. Screaming at referees. Waving his hands in the air as if demented. Encroachment of field of play. Struggling out of play balls and trying to steal throw ins for his team.-None of this is coaching. None of this is cerebral. It is just playing to the gallery and for the television camera's. Oga leave story! Read your initial comment again, and interpret it to yourself again. That's what I took you on about. Nobody asked for all this story about your issue with Arsenal fans... If you must comment, state the truth and avoid wrong generalizations. It's that simple! |

Once Arteta comes up against a cerebral coach,Arsenal will always lose. Whao. So Guardiola is not a "cerebral" coach? Always re-read your words before posting! Remember, too, that overall in the history of both clubs' meetings in the EPL, Arsenal has won more games. Go and verify! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Vs Southampton (3 - 1) On 5th October 2024 by Basic(m): 7:08pm On Oct 05, 2024 |
RealityOfReason: Your points are disjointed, incoherent! Who are you schooling lol? First, Southampton are a weak, defeatist team, so don't make exaggerated claims on the basis of beating a dead horse. Second, City couldn't beat a 10-man Arsenal because the latter played like a league 1 team, quite unconventional for any big club that worths it's onions. 10 men in the box 18; is that what you call contest? Lol. Lastly, City are your baba. It would take some serious overwhelming, trophy-laden seasons-long performances by Arsenal to prove otherwise.
Enjoy your small victory in peace but no dey cap sh!t abeg! Ode, you're the one who isn't thinking straight here. You used the weakness of Southhampton as the common denominator to downplay Arsenal's victory, and I used the results both teams got against Manchester City (the league's best team) to counter your argument. If you can't understand that, it's not my fault. As for Arsenal playing like a League 1 team, I saw where you're coming from. In fact, compare Arsenal to a kindergarten team, we'd proudly take it. A hater never sees anything good in whatever they hate. Call it a small victory, and I'd remind you that 3 points is 3 points. My advice to you is this: If you want to hate or banter, try to do it with sense. Peace! |

WhiteIverson: Assnal fans are just cry babies. Someone committed an offence which deserved a yellow card, added to the previous one and he got red. They are here wailing. Man city scored 90+8 when 7 minutes were added, somehow assnal fans conveniently forgot how gaybriel sat on the ground for a whole minute like he's in his father's compound all in a bid to waste time. This happened in the first minute of additional time.
If Assnal finishes top 4 this season, it's a miracle but their cry baby fans won't agree. I wonder when Arteta would see the light and leave Assnal for greener pastures. He's fighting a lost cause. Assnal is destined not to win any major trophy soon and their fans would forever remain cry babies Always read between the lines and don't allow hatred to block your ability to view things objectively. It kills your IQ. The issue is not just the card. It's the inconsistency. Doku did the same thing before Trossard but wasn't punished for it. In the same game for that matter! Oya defend that make I hear! |

Orinechi: Why did they arrest the nurse? Which nurse? How does being summoned for interrogation or to act as an expert witness amount to arrest? My counter question is, why was the doctor not arrested? And why didn't you think the nurse sorted her way through nursing school? If you were enlightened enough and know how the medical profession works, you'd have known that specializing to become a surgeon takes at least another 6 years after becoming a licensed doctor. So, let's assume you sort your way through medical school, you can sort your way through post-graduate medical training, too? Just so you know, some of the examiners are not even Nigerians. Take it or leave it, we know what's happening there. Oga, leave dumb argument. Before you enter the theatre to be operated in, you sign a consent form, which clearly states that you accept that complications can arise from the surgery. It's the practice all over the world. It does not matter how competent a doctor is, complications are bound to happen. I guess the doctors who managed Stella Obasanjo and Michael Jackson also did "sorting". |

cgniyi: You made a great post but you lost me with the last part. Most of the surprise cases of suicide are from extroverts never showing signs of depression. Don't make that mistake that the friend joking and smiling with you today isn't going through anything. Talking from experience. I get, but one of the cardinal signs of depression is pulling away into your shell and wanting to be alone. Another is losing interest totally in things you used to derive joy in while looking for comfort in things that technically don't bring it. Also, anyone who is close and observant enough should be able to tell when an extrovert is merely faking it. He might go to places to force himself to be happy, but you'd see him unable to focus on a single thing for long. |
Business › Re: How Konga Ex-CEO, Nick Imudia Died — Househelp by Basic(m): 1:12pm On Jul 02, 2024*. Modified: 1:49pm On Jul 02, 2024 |
The fact that the family kept insisting that it cannot be suicide just because he showed no signs of stress or because he was never diagnosed with depression shows they are either grossly unenlightened or they just want to deliberately twist the truth to avoid any form of stigma.
Men are known to be experts at bottling up their worries and pains. So, you might be with a suicidal man (especially the quiet type) without having a clue on what he's battling.
Secondly, the fact that he killed himself without drawing any attention or giving any clue makes depression the most probable cause.
Most people who have 'original' depression don't even know they are depressed. They lose control of their thoughts until they eventually succumb to the suicidal ideations. All of these usually happen without even their closest relatives knowing a thing.
For people who used to be jovial and fun-loving extroverts, it's easier to sense it when they come down with depression. But for the naturally shy, gentle, introverted ones, nobody knows until they end it all. |
