nnadychuks:
I am a coward!
I hate this version of myself
I am essentially a coward. I fear what I want, and so I self-sabotage. I ruin things for myself.

I distance myself from people. Usually I thought I was an introvert, but no. I’m well outspoken, learned and on the extra, I’m a good looking guy.

I am jealous of those people that can keep close friends. I’ve rarely been hurt by friends like people talk about often, but I fear the process of making friends.

I meet ladies online. I can’t summon the courage of toasting girls on ground. even My 3 years relationship now, I met her on a “singles group”.

I hate the feeling of loneliness but find a strange sense of comfort in it.
Friends are important to me but I can’t bring myself to make any.
I want people to understand me but don’t even try to explain myself.
Initially I felt like I’m alone in this. Everybody else is perfect in this sense, except me.

But because humans are different, because we are different, I believe that there are others like me struggling with this exact problem. We are our own obstacles, and the issue with that is the fact that we cannot ever get past it because the solution is hiding in the last place we would ever search. Like how we overlook things hiding in plain sight because we dismiss them as “too obvious,” we miss the fact that there was actually nothing wrong with the world — there was just something wrong with the way we chose to see it.
I am passing through exactly similar thing.Just become more spiritual, you will find fulfillment and inner peace

Throwback: Tambuwal rocks the Boat, Dealt the Deadliest blow on PDP in 2014 by defecting with 37 PDP Reps members to APC....to pave way for Gen Buhari's enthronement, Tambuwal has never hides his disdain for a southerner by always causing issues while a southerner is the president, this was not the case while Buhari was the president and could not do anything to defeat Boko haram or curb the inflation

Recently Aminu Tambuwal rejoin PDP but could not reverse the Lead he Gave to APC since 2014 by making APC the Majority in the House of Reps. it will be recalled that Aminu Tambuwal Destroyed PDP from the National Assembly by abusing the power and priviledge given to him to serve as the speaker house of Reps to betray PDP and swings the pendulum in Favor of APC till Today. internet does not forget

Tallesty1:
Feminists are already having sleepless nights. Some even said she took them 15 steps backwards 😂😂😂.

But here’s the thing guys, Temi dare not say she will never take Eazi’s name. Why? Because she was raised right. She respects authority, and she’s loyal too.

Recently we hired someone to handle a few things. At first we thought she was just performative, but over time we realized she’s genuinely like that. When I dug deeper, I found out her dad had two wives but still remained a responsible father. That shaped her. When you raise a daughter in love and care, you’re teaching her how to love and respect a man.

The witches we see online are either direct descendants of second Timothy or products of failed parenting. And let’s not forget that the love a man shows his wife influences his daughters’ choices in men: what they give, expect, and tolerate.

So if we want wives like Temi, we must raise daughters like Otedola did. Women who won’t only submit to their husbands but also won’t be shaking nyash for likes or turning weddings into 18+ events with half-naked displays.

A responsible society is a collective effort.
I also admire her decent dressing.

Emir Sanusi had no business being a traditional leader. He should've joined politics to use his love for education to change his people who think that education is haram.

I suppose northern leaders are too afraid to address that issue so they don't lose their goodwill amongst the Hoi polloi
Northerners and Muslims don't think education is haram.Infact,No religion emphasizes on knowledge as mush as Islam does.

But most core western ethos and norms are haram

He is and that's based on where Anambra state was coming from. Anambra state was completely controlled by godfathers who siphoned state fund and installed Governors, Assembly members, etc like Tinubu does in Lagos.

They held Anambra state in captivity like a captured territory....insecurity ravaged Anambra state.....nothing was working as a young state....Peter Obi defeated and ended godfatherism politics in Anambra.....and liberated Anambra for future Governors.....he ended the mad insecurity there....refaced Upper Iweka.....did massive road network creation in rural areas....revamped Anambra schools and handed them back to Missionary for effective management. Upon all these, he still saved billions for Anambra and also invested for the future....no other Governor in the history of Nigeria has ever done such. He also rejected all forms of retirement benefits as ex Governor....no other ex Governor, not even Tinubu as rich as he is did it.

So if you consider how meager Anambra's IGR and federal allocation was then, Peter Obi is the Lee Kuan Yew of Anambra state....so if you give him a bigger stage with larger resources and power, he would do wonders for Nigeria no jokes.

And remember, he has even improved and become more refined, exposed......and wiser than he was when he governed Anambra as Governor being a very young trader.
Peter obi is the lee kuan yun of Anambra state indeed 😆...was that before 2022 or after?.....So he wants to do what LKY did for 30yrs in a country of just 6million people and 735km square in 4yrs in a country of 236 million and 134 000 square kmhuh..desperados

You can't compare him with any of the leaders you mentioned, a good leader is 1st doer of his principles, all the people you mentioned practiced their reforms first before the citizens, is that what Tinubu is doing?

that means he doesn't even believe in it, you people can keep deceiving yourselves...

He launched sweeping reforms in housing, education, defense, and urban hygiene. The Housing Development Board (HDB) rolled out the world’s most ambitious public housing program. He famously banned chewing gum, not out of pettiness, but as part of a broader campaign for cleanliness and order. Strikes, riots, and public disorder were clamped down on with uncompromising resolve

If BAT does half of this, same OP will be up in arms crying democracy is dead.

This is the honest truth i have observed about Africa and why we are under developed:
African leaders who try to change the status quo especially in a democratic setting end up failing as most Africans are only after what they can eat today and not future plans, any African leader who tries to do hard reforms will get called out so most of them chicken out and just keep pleasing the masses just to stay in power , the few successful African countries are those with either dictators or long term democratic terms, reason I'm an advocate of 5 to 7 year tenure for presidents .

Jerry rawlings ruled Ghana both as military and civilian for over 20 years and set a template for Ghana, Lagos has been the most consistent state in Nigeria for decades cos its a one party state, Rwanda has come up from its genocide past cos the president has been in power since 1996.

For africa to move forward all these 4 year nonsense won't work .
God bless you.....You can't be a radical leader in Africa...you got to be a populist.Just be making masses happy by subsidizing foods heavily for them when they remain underdeveloped with debts

Because loans are being used to subsidize their momentary happiness.

Politics › Re: Tambuwal Accuses Tinubu Of Destabilising Opposition Parties by Basic123: 9:47am On Sep 06, 2025
Hamachi:
For years, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been portrayed publicly as a political strategist — “The Jagaban.” But beneath the surface, some argue that his power doesn’t come merely from building alliances, but from orchestrating systematic destabilisation of any opposition that could challenge his dominance.

My theory goes like this:

1. Divide and Weaken – Whenever an opposition party starts gaining traction, strange cracks suddenly appear: factions emerge, leaders defect, and infighting paralyzes the party. Insiders whisper that Tinubu has perfected the art of quietly funding rival factions within the same opposition group, ensuring that unity never lasts long enough to challenge him.

2. The Trojan Horse Tactic – Over the years, key opposition leaders who seemed to stand firmly against him suddenly cross over, endorse him, or mysteriously lose relevance. This suggests Tinubu plants allies inside opposition ranks, who work slowly from within until the party is torn apart.

3. The Invisible Hand of State Institutions – Even before becoming president, Tinubu allegedly maintained deep influence over law enforcement, judiciary actors, and electoral officials. Whenever an opposition figure became “too loud,” they faced police invitations, legal cases, or financial audits — tools used not for justice, but for intimidation.

4. Media Narratives – Since his days as Lagos governor, Tinubu is believed to have heavily invested in media ownership and loyalty. This ensures that while opposition crises are amplified, his own camp is portrayed as the stable choice. Subtle manipulation of headlines and selective silence helps set the national mood in his favor.

5. The Long Game – Perhaps the most chilling part of this theory is that Tinubu doesn’t fight battles only in the present. He allegedly sets traps years in advance: cultivating politicians, grooming defectors, and destabilising leaders long before elections are even on the horizon. By the time the public notices, the moves have already been made.

In this lens, what we see today — opposition parties in chaos, defections, and endless court cases — isn’t coincidence or “Nigerian politics as usual.” It’s the continuation of a decades-old strategy, one that has allowed Tinubu to get what he wants again and again.
Do you even know the meaning of being strategic.

All these you listed are products of strategic thinking
