You claim Obi is inconsequential, yet anytime his name is mentioned, you usually rush to comment.

It's an obsession at this point.
Even people enjoy watching mad people,it doesn't mean that mad people are really important to the society

Check Nigeria economy before and after.

Check citizens welfare before and after, ( that would be if you old enough to understand it during military, and for the teachers, wen they bought cars most)

Check where he met power generation and where it ended it ( I will advise you to be neutral from useless political lies afterwards)

Check our savings before and after

Check security situation during his time compare to the rest.

Check how he distributed positions across the sections of the nation, compare to the rest.

Check the respect we got from international community compare to any govt in history. You can Google what he did in Sao Tome Principe and in Togo, compare it with how current president barked like toothless bulldog on Niger republic saga. I doubt if Ur age and brain large enough to know all these.

Make sure you do all these with pure mind.
Only obasanjo saving grace was that internet was not really in existence during his time.

People perception of his government was very bad.
But no internet to document it

I have been privileged to have access to government houses and important government officials and I can tell you for free that Yar'adua is the best and most honest governor Nigeria have ever produced.
I witnessed Mbadinuju, Ngige and Peter Obi tenure in Anambra and whether you like it or not, PO is the best governor comparable only to Yar'adua.
Believe whatever you want to believe but FYI, I witnessed live the swearing in of OBJ in 1999 at Eagle square. I'm no kid
Whether you like it or Not...Peter OBI was one of the worst governors of his time. No legacy!

Your desperation for an Igbo president can not change the fact that you people have established about Peter OBI 12years ago

Old Testament Law

Leviticus 20:10:
"The man who commits adultery with another man's wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress, shall surely be put to death".

Deuteronomy 22:22:
"If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then both of them shall die".

Numbers 25:4, 9:
God's anger at Israel's involvement with foreign women and the subsequent plague that killed 23,000 people due to fornication and idolatry.
New Testament Perspectives

John 8:3-11:
Jesus confronts a woman caught in adultery, famously saying, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her," and later tells her, "Go now and leave your life of sin".

1 Corinthians 10:8:
"We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did—and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died".

Colossians 3:5:
"Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry".

Hebrews 13:4:
"Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed undefiled; but the sexually immoral and adulterers God will judge".

Proverbs 6:32-33:
"He who commits adultery with a woman lacks sense; he who does it destroys his own soul. He will get a bad reputation and disgrace; his shame will never be wiped away".

In the above passages I posted, it's clear that there's a stringent punishment ultimately death for such since in the Old Testament buh the punishment is shifted for God to be meted out by God himself taking into account that no one should judge others because you'll be judged, and you're not perfect. Thid whole thing is now engulfed by mercy.
The point now is that those who refuse to play indecency in Christianity are not doing it because they're afraid of being lynched by physical forces buh genuinely afraid of being lynched by the spiritual force ( wrath of God). That's the difference.

You stated that Muslim girls/couples can't even hold hands in the public buh they can do it inside angry what does that entails? God see in the secret buh they do it in the secret, man see in the physical buh they don't do it in the physical. The question now is; the fear of who stops them from doing immorality??
Christians don't use old testaments law...if you are to even go by old testament laws, you people should be praying like Muslims do

They'll easily be lynched if they're caught in such act, and that's you mostly see Ashawo from North from their Xtian/traditional population. It's the fear of the physical not the spiritual, that's my point.
Its both.

There is no really emphasis on punishment for aldutery and fornication in Christianity.

In Islam, you shouldn't even stay near it tallness of doing it.You will even fill ashamed to shake the opposite sex hands talkless of hugging them in public all these things are not issues in Christianity.
Christianity also lay a very lose emphasis on modest dressing!

I was watching his podcast recently and couldn't help thinking the same.

Unfortunate he might never see Nigeria get better.

He was one of the greatest leaders Nigeria ever had though. I can see how passionately he sometimes speaks about a better Nigeria.

Dude did his best as president but somehow the trajectory of progress after his tenure was diverted by those after him. Instead of building on what progress was made under him

It's unfortunate we now find ourselves in the situation where we presently are in!
If you can say this about Obasanjo, then you should be able to say it about the presidents that came before and after him.
He is not in anyway different!

Nobody in that ADC coalition can beat Atiku in a primary election. Even if they all come together, they still can't defeat him.

Someone that almost defeated Buhari in 2015 at APC primary election in Lagos.

And yet though, Atiku remains the only aspirant that can beat Tinubu in 2027.

Any other projection is just a waste of electoral funds
Atiku didn't almost defeat buhari in APC 2015 primary election. He came distant 3rd after KWANKWASO.

The North can't cook anything as they didn't cook anything when Buhari turned Nigeria to a Fulani colony for 8 straight years undecided

The South must have its own 8-year presidency even if the North cries blood...

It does not necessarily have to be Tinubu who does the next 4-year tenure....but it must be a Southerner, hell or high water...

And Tinubu has by far proven himself to be the Southerner who is most capable and willing to put the North in its place...Say whatever you want about the man, but it's undeniable that he is one man political warhead ...

The Northerners even acknowledge that Tinubu is not a sissy like Good luck Jonathan who they harassed out of power by threatening him with parallel government and dogs and baboons being soaked in blood...You will notice that despite all their opposition to Tinubu's government, none of them have had the guts to threaten him or his government, because they know the man can be ruthless and fully understands the power he wields as Commander-in-Chief grin

And I also make bold to state that any Southerner who supports any Northener against any Southerner for the 2027-2031 Presidency is a saboteur and should be treated by the Southerners as such.

I do not like Tinubu one bit, and I infact dislike not only his person, but his manner of politicking ...But after witnessing Buhari's eight years of Fulani domination, I am 150% with Tinubu for his second term...The Northerners must learn that this country is for all of us, not only them...and since Tinubu is the only Southerner capable of teaching them that lesson, I stand with him 150% .
What is bad in Tinubu politicking?

What is bad in the person of Tinubu?

Well Tinubu doesn't even know about your existence

This is because the system itself is a fraud and only the most fraudulent carries the day.

So if he cannot put together a team of those fraudsters from PDP and APC terrorist groups, he should make sure he scatters them.

Imagine calling Tinubu a master strategist. Imagine claiming he's a first-class accountant. Imagine saying Tinubu would assemble 'eggheads' and the best brains when he becomes president.
