i am Nupe, from Bida Niger tate. Even before the amalgamation and creation of Nigeria your displaced ibo grandfathers were already trooping into my domain in search of greener pastures. Go ask ojuku and azikure of cursed memories, both of them were born here.
The Igala in Ibaji, Kogi state owns the oil wells. Anambra is not and will never be an oil producing state. The orient oil refinery is a scam Wow, igbos colonised Nupe b4 white me came. Dats gr8 |

Truckpusher: It is high time each state/region generate their own power according their own capacity abeg.
Rivers States and Lagos state generates enough power to power herself but for the parasitic structure of this country these states has to pass through the pains of directing a particular percentage to the National grid that would be shared by some states that do not generate any megawatts of electricity.
True federalism is on my mind. True federalism doesn't mean u will acquire FGs properties. Lagos state govt doesnt own any power plant except the glorified generator comissioned by fashola. the only private power plant is geometric power Aba. the rest are FGs properties, later privatized under Jonathan |

Whynotthetruth: Kindly note this...
The truth is that work has commenced on the Second Niger Bridge and is progressing. The project, which is divided into three phases, will bypass Onitsha and Asaba to connect the Owerri-Onitsha Expressway at Nkwerre Ezunaka, and then cross Atani to the Asaba-Benin Expressway at Okpanam with a total length of 44 kilometres.
With the above...I believe the possibility of the 44km...And the author can't write this knowing fully BPE, Mins of Works, & except Julius Berger are all under buhari now...hence can easily be verified...
Those towns mentioned are very long distance part plzzz... I noticed that too, he didn't cross check his facts well |

hinwazaka: There are so many factors that go into cost appraisal of a construction project, especially something precarious like that of a bridge. Have you read the contracting firm's report on the bridge. You and so many other Nigerians just browse unintelligible opinions of disgruntled elements and you put that here as your position. Ask yourself this * Is the water body of the bridge at lekki as shallow or as deep as that of the Niger, and Vis a Vis the other way round. secondly, if u check google earth, u will realize that due to heavy urbanization, the only route to fix the bridge is through the marshland of Atani. searh for atani on google earth. there are several kilometers of unihabitable land from the town to the Niger. Plus, there is going to be an interchange at the junction with Onitsha - Owerri expressway |

Northerners are archaic comunist. Sacking quota system employees and bringing competent hands etc. Why cnt PMB do same in Oil sector instead of taking credit 4 Gej's economic policy? |

yoruba internet trolls say that all is well, but their fathers are wailing everyday in the media. they say igbos are crying but we are actually happy for being vindicated on our long opinion of buhari as an unrepentant bigot and dictator. we dnt hv problem with him being from north, afterall we supported shagari, a true democrat. yorubas never loved buhari, Tinubu led them into alienation in GEJs administration and they desperately wanted to come back to national relevance again. if they loved buhari, they would have voted him those three times he contested and failed. Igbos supported Shagari, Obasanjo and GEJ cos they tried to understand the diversity and complexity of the country unlike the insensitive and vindictive buhari. |
