grin here we go again! Pictures war?
Almost all the states in in SE have pictures thread. And all of them can't boast of 10k pixs.
Stop telling the whole world that you unenlightened and a villager, if u want pictures, go to SW and take it yourself. Snapping ordinary duplex up and down for comparism is inferioryycomplex. More like I should start snapping Beirut or cape town. Lol
The last time I checked, nairaland is just an ordinary website. So ur opinion doesn't matter.
u ppl keep shouting "inferiority complex" yet u try to compete in the picture war and eventually fail just like the OP.

So calabar too is a no man's land? grin
I can see jealousy written all over your face. grin
Calabar was never the capital of Nigeria. Nigeria was born in 1914

:we are not saying the same thing grin
If either Lagos/Abuja are to be in SE, your people will never said its a no man's Land.
Let's be realistic, go to Google type south western states, if you don't see Lagos there, then its a no mans Land. We have only one FCT which is Abuja. So how did Lagos became a no mans Lagos will always be a Yoruba land, just that all the factors of a commercial city is emboldened there. grin you can rant all you want, it can only change your PC/PHONE it won't change reality.
And another fact is that Ibadan is developed that. All iboe state capital.
Assignment: wikipedia Ibadan and Lagos.
Note: Nigeria is underdeveloped! grin
any FCT is a no mans land irrespective of wia it is located. stop wasting ur time

A villager will leave his village/cave to look for green pastures in another man's land, grin then log on to nairaland an anonymous forum and start telling the same man that he owns the economy of the man's community.
Abeg how dem take resemble? shocked
The funny part is that : you will look for the kinda people that said that trash in reality, u will never find them
But they owns 85% of the economy of SA, they owns Lagos, they are taking over Japan. grin in Germany they are the best innovators.
Lol, the "dick measuring contest" will continue then, u are always first to shout "village" all the time but wen picture war ensues u suddenly turn to peace advocate

That is it!
Villagers everywhere cheesy
I just finish enlightening (I will never argue with a villager) one iboe mofo.
I noticed here, that the iboe boys that insult any SW cities are kids, lowlifers and slum dwellers of alaibo.
They googled Ibadan pictures and ended up judging the city with the pictures found there, even the ones that found there way to Lagos judge Ibadan with the view of the buildings in Iwo road. grin and u start bragging that you know Ibadan. Lol
The bitter fact is that: Nigeria as a whole is a big underdeveloped country!
Out of 36 states and capital, we can only brag of 2 city, which is Lagos & Abuja.
All other ones are towns. The next bigger towns are kano, PH, Ibadan & Enugu. All this d.ck measuring context is enough! The reality is on ground. I have been to all the geopolitical zones in Nigeria. Nobody can decieve me. grin
Op God bless u.
Same thing we have been saying, only Lagos and Abuja (both are no man's land) are truely developed. so wats ur argument here? There wont be any argument if ur brothers in the SW are of the same opinion with u

The most ridiculous, thoughtless and absurd rubbish ever is beating your chest regarding any form of nonsense about either OBJ or GEJ they are the same PDP losers your cluelessly followed for 16 years with still nothing to show.

Here we have a whole region full of chest beaters, the so called light of the nation, the delusionally superior clans, the richest and the smartest still unable to collectively build a simple bridge

...but they are still at point A 30 years later still begging and crying for a bridge they they'll end up paying for out of their own pocket for 30 years.

Did the GEJ/OBJ/PDP did you a favor by asking you to pay for your own bridge via tolling while the rest of the country enjoy free bridges and other FG infrastructures?

Even sef, after paying for your own bridge for 30 years, the bridge reverts back to the FG and not you, not the region that paid for the bridge after 30 years tolling.

Means after 30 years, you can not make any money off that bridge, it belongs to the rest of Nigeria.

..but building your own bridge yourself means it belongs to you forever and you can do whatever you want with it, you can even toll it for yourself to fund other infrastructure projects in your region, but as it stands today, every kobo you pay via trolling goes straight to Germany and never stays in your community to develop your community..

The folks in this region are not strategic, their leaders are shallow, they are shortsighted, they lack vision and the socio economic future of their people.

Very sad and pathetic I must say..
are u sure u are ok?

Some ppl need to wake up. Is it gala sellers that donate money to purchase sophisticated satelite transmission equipments? Our ppl have a proverb that wen a bird is dancing in the middle of road dancing then someone playing the music for it is hidding in the nearby bush. there is a larger international conspiracy somewhere. the are just waiting for appriopriate provocations, nigeria govt better handle this issue with care, Ojukwu neglected international alliance that was why it was easy for nigeria to conner all powerful countries to their side, unlike wat we now see iin Nnamdi Kanu

@ op

I see you are a good student of history. But at times sentiments becloud one's sense of jugement if you allow it. Times we look away from facts just to support the line we tread. Try and check your mind and what you conceived when you were putting up these facts together and what you intend to achieve by every of your response. Do you want to spite the Yorubas? why? So you could become a hero of a sort? Do you want the Yorubas on this site respond to you and abuse and insult your tribe too just to be able to reply you well? How about doing a research on why the old houses were built with zinc and yet mud. Maybe you have not even been to these places before and see if there is development in other areas of same city before writing to condemn a whole city or language. Remember 'do to others what you want them do to you.

What can you do to make things better? Do you intend to invest in those places, bring the mud houses down and buld a new city with your technical know-how and sophistication?
if you can not achieve anything positive with your post i think it is good you dont write at all. the mind could be trained to achieve more positive things. Some people can engage you in your discourse hands down but what does it profit both of you. if you want to learn why those houses are like that seek to know by research and constructive and intelligent approach. You will be surprised what you can find.
thank you.

VOA that helped destroy Libya, South Sudan, Syria and Ukraine? That newspaper that looked elsewhere while millions died in Rwanda?
So, you belief America and its Western allies have your interests at heart? They want a war and chaos in Nigeria so that their news and media can keep on selling! They are a bloody corporation with dark interests in others and will like bloodshed for them to stay in market. Rely on them at your own peril.
Watch out dear friends for these hypocrites who refused to let us purchase weapons from them to fight Boko Haram but eagerly broadcast a Bomb blast whenever it went off. They want to set us against each other to amuse themselves. They can only be described as the masters in medieval times in the games of gladiators. They cheer and jeer both parties on as they shed each others blood.
Trust them at your own peril!
is it VOA dat made SE not have its share of federal infrastructure, are they the ones that made hausas kill igbos in the north without provocation? are they the ones that made fashola deport igbos, are they the ones that made Oba threaten them if they dont vote his chosen candidate? it there is justice and fairness nobody will want to leave.

I know this is a faceless Forum where people come to make up all sorts of lies and distortions to further their different selfish agendas, But let me tell you one truth you can sleep with tonight, I have been hiding from some Foreign Intelligence agencies for some years now, I have suffered, in ways you could never imagine, why are this people after me? Because I have voiced my fears about their evil intentions to split Nigeria this year, everything I have been doing in the past few years is to avoid what these foreign powers have been planning, and under my nose, Under my foolish nose, there comes this Ibo Boy. Who wants to play james bond, by causing disaffection in the country, it's funny, because I and some other colleagues were thinking it would be the Insurgency in the North that would be used to disintegrate this country, But Alas, Nnamdi Kanu comes along, having being trained by British spooks on how to carry out covert broadcasts activities etc, and he wants to spoil everything that we have invested Time and Money in trying to secure, The fool is a dead man, I can tell you as a matter of fact that there is a Contract on his head, and the thing is we did not even have to spend much money on this contract, as there have been Friends who have volunteered to execute this contract without much financial assistance, anytime from now, you will all hear what will happen to him, even the Nigerian government can not save him now, you know why? Because it is too late, The fool is already a dead man.
his death will even increase the momentum of the agitation, that was the mistake Yaradua made by killing the leader of boko haram
