TO ALL ACCIDENTAL /EMERGENCY ACTIVISTS WHO ACCUSE THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT OF DICTATORSHIP BUT POTRAY THE IMMEDIATE PAST AS DEMOCRATIC, LET'S GO DOWN MEMORY FOR A FEW MINUTES. 1-Where were the common sense Senator and the wailers when Senate invited Deziani over N10B for chartering of private jet and Jonathan openly ask her not to honour the invitation? 2-Then President Jonathan sacked the President of the Appeal court because he refused to compromise on the case involving the ruling party and ruling that forensic examination be allowed on materials used for the 2011 Presidential election. Even when the NJC asked that he be reinstated, Jonathan refused yet, he is your HERO OF DEMOCRACY. 3-Why didn't we hear noise calling Jonathan a dictator when house of Rep was locked up in the bid to impeached Tambuwal and we saw Rep members flying over fence and gates with some even tear gassed by the Jonathan police? 4-All the security details attached to then Speaker of House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal were withdrawn by the Federal Government led by Jonathan yet, you still didn't see any reason not to worship him. 5-Bode George was tried in the law court and he was jailed for two years and served the term. Saint Jonathan came and asked the court to reversed that judgement that later said Bode George wasn't guilty as charged and he became an innocent and not ex convict but till date Bode never sued for damages. 6-For weeks in 2014, the Governor of Kano State kept shouting that security aides posted to watch over the state house were recalled as a result of orders from above, not once did you accuse Jonathan of tyranny. 7- For appointing Sanusi Lamido as Emir of Kano which was within the rights and powers of the Kano State Government, Jonathan ordered security agents to lay siege at the Emir's palace. For days, the Emir operated from the Kano State Government House. You didn't call Jonathan by the dictatorship that he was acting out then. 8-For the first and only time in the history of Nigeria we had a first lady that also picked up position as the perm sec in the president state without working to attained such position. What did the wailers do? 9- Jonathan withdrew the security details attached to then Governor Amaechi, Jonathan grounded the plane of Amaechi, Jonathan masterminded and hugely supported the division and crisis in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Jonathan allowed his wife to govern Rivers from Abuja, Jonathan used Mbu to embarrass and harass a sitting Governor, Jonathan crippled Rivers because Amaechi was the Governor yet, you still see Jonathan as a demigod. 10- In this same country, we saw how Jonathan supported the destruction of the once vibrant Governors' Forum by supporting 16 against 19 yet, you see him as one decent man who should be seen as a Hero. 11-We have not forgotten how Jonathan used state power to prevent sitting Governors from reaching a part of the country to support the reelection of one of their own because they were in the opposition and you who is laying claim to fairness and pretending to love Democracy still claim you miss this same character. 12-It was in this country under Jonathan the saint that we saw for the first time the military ambushed daily news papers distributions. They were seized and destroyed without explanations. Yet Jonathan wasn't tagged a tyrant 13-In this same country, we saw the circulation of an undisputed video by an army officer detailing how soldiers were used to rig the election in Ekiti State to favour the thug governing the state today and yet, you see same Jonathan who was Commander in Chief of all these barbarism as decent enough to be called a hero. 14- In his desperation to see the Governor Nyako impeached, The Presidency under Jonathan had the accounts of Adamawa State frozen. A State Government account oh and not personal account of the Governor and not once did you condemn the action nor call Jonathan the dictator he clearly was then. 15-Same Jonathan you can almost worship today single handedly denied his then state Governor the right to seek the nomination of his party because he had personal grievances against him yet, you never for once accused him of abuse of power. 16-It is in Nigeria we saw how a serving Senator was shot at in a political gathering by the Nigeria police that are supposed to protect our law makers and such Senator is lucky to be alive today after been flown abroad for treatment. 17-For the first time in our history as a country, the CBN Governor was unilaterally sacked by the President without following the due process of our law because he asked questions regarding careless stealing of the nation's money supervised and supported by Jonathan yet, you never called Jonathan the dictator he clearly was. 18-Under Jonathan was when we witness how 5 house of assembly members out of 32 almost impeached a sitting governor that lead to serious fracas. source: My opinion (sekavbasil) |

One of the Chibok school girls abducted by the deadly
Boko Haram insurgents in April 2014 has been reportedly
found.
According to a report by the Hausa service of the BBC,
the girl was rescued in the Sambisa Forest, close to the
border with Cameroon on Tuesday, May 18.
The rescued girl identified as Amina Ali Nkek from
Mbalala village, south of Chibok was said to have been
found by members of vigilante group known as Civilian
JTF.

after she was taken to Chibok and she now with soldiers
in Dambuwa, Borno state until further investigations are
completed.

Also confirming the news, Yakubu Nkeki, the chairman Of
Chibok girls’ Parents said she was found on Monday at an
area close to the Sambisa Forest by members of the
CJTF, Leadership reports.
Nkeki said: “I am in Lagos right now but my wife called me
yesterday. The chairman of the CJTF also called me. They
took the girl to my place where she was identified. Her
mother identified her too. The CJTF and the army have
taken her to Dambowa. When I return home, I will be able to
get more details .”
This year made it two years since the girls were abducted
from their school by the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
On that fateful day, the insurgents stormed the school,
abducting over 200 girls from their hostel. Some managed
to escape from the insurgents within hours of their
kidnapping, by jumping off the lorries and running off into
the bushes.

The others who didn’t escape have been missing since
then and every effort to find and rescue them has proved
abortive.
In April 2016, which marked the second anniversary of
their disappearance, a video surfaced, showing some of
the kidnapped schoolgirls alive. The video showed 15 girls
in black robes who said they were being treated well but
wanted to be with their families. |

Tiv People Offer Their Wives To Visitors
Good day everyone and happy weekend is what I wish you all .
As you already know that my intention is to unravel mysteries .
We are here again with this highly controversial topic and
misconception of “ Tivs use their wives to entertain visitors ” .
I decided to clear the air on this issue because just yesterday ,
a friend of mine chose to call it quits with his girlfriend of
about three years just because his mother passed the “ Tiv
people use their wives and sometimes daughters to entertain
visitors ” to him. I was agog at why a learned man in this 21 st
century will breakup with his girlfriend ; banking on his mother ’
s conclusion that his girlfriend could have been served to
many men by her dad.
Just sit back, relax and follow me
For those who know not much about the TIV people , read
below …
“ Tiv ” is an ethnic group with origin in Nigeria but a sparse
population of Cameroonians have also traced their roots to the
Tiv ethnicity . They are among those referred to as Minority
ethnic groups in Nigeria with a little over six million people .
Can be found mainly in Benue , Nassarawa, Plateau and
Taraba states of Nigeria . TIVs are a very strong ethnicity and
are known as warriors who waged wars against many towns
and villages and almost always come out tops . This conquest
of theirs made them have many slaves who work on their
farms; some of which were females . So , in times past ,
anytime a the Tiv people had male visitors , being very
hospitable people they would normally select one of their best
looking female slaves to keep the visitor company for as long
as he chooses to stay. The visitor who is most likely not aware
of the status of the lady assumes she is his host’s wife and
goes about spreading rumours that the host gave him his wife
. The culture of giving female slaves to visitors is not actually
an act I can term benevolence because they did so with hope
of the slaves getting pregnant . And in situations where such
slaves get pregnant , the child she gives birth to becomes a
slave by birth . This means more slaves and more hands on
the farm works and other labour intensive works and in return,
more money for the slave masters.
However , since slave trade has been abolished , this practice
has long stopped because their are no more slaves to serve
the purposes . That is why most of us today who never
witnessed slave trading only hear the myth of “ Tiv men offer
their wives to visitors ” . It never happened and never will
because Tiv men are known for being overly jealous with their
wives . A Tiv man may pardon you for every other offence but
not if he catches you with his wife . Tiv people highly respect
themselves and never compromise true born(mar-nya) and
slaves(Kpan) . That’s why they leave the slaves for fellow
slaves or visitors to mate . Till date , if you intend contesting
for any political appointment in Tiv land, they will first ask of
your father’ s house . To be sure if such person is a true son of
the soil or a slave . If you doubt me and still want to confirm
and you have a Tiv friend, take the next bus to Tiv land in
Benue state, visit him and wait till he offers you his wife . Sorry
will be your name. |

Biafra: Anyaoku rejects IPOB’s
appointment

A former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief
Emeka Anyaoku, has rejected his nomination as one of the
Indigenous Peoples of Biafra’s representatives to negotiate or
discuss on behalf of the group.
IPOB had on Wednesday listed Anyaoku as one of the
“credible Igbo elders” that would represent it in “negotiations”
and “discussions”.
Also on the list are former Vice-President Alex Ekwueme;
Prof. Ben Nwabueze; the Archbishop of Owerri Catholic
Diocese, Archbishop Anthony Obinna; a Biafran civil war army
commander, Alex Madiebo; and an activist, Dr. Arthur
Nwankwo.
But in an email exchange with one of our correspondents,
Anyaoku, who said he had yet to be contacted by the Pro-
Biafra group, stated that he would not accept the
appointment.
He said, “I have not been approached nor would I be willing to
undertake such an assignment in the present circumstances.’’
In a statement signed by its spokesmen, Emma Mmezu and
Clifford Iroanya, IPOB said the selection of Ekwueme,
Anyaoku and the others came on the heels of its rejection of
the alleged meeting between the leadership of Ohanaeze
Ndigbo and a United States of America delegation in Enugu.
In the statement entitled, ‘Beware of impostors’, the group
dissociated itself from any discussions or negotiations
entered into on its behalf by Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
IPOB alleged that the Ohanaeze leaders claimed they were
speaking on its behalf at the alleged meeting with the US
officials, who were said to be on a fact-finding mission.
The statement read in part, “We do not deal with nor condone
the idea of washed- out political contractors and
compromised merchants of misery speaking for Biafrans.
“We value our reputation as IPOB and would like to warn that
anybody dealing with any group that is not IPOB under the
supreme command of Nnamdi Kanu (our detained leader) is
engaging in an exercise in futility.
“Our focus now is to ensure the release of our leader first
before we negotiate with anyone.
“We would view anyone discussing or attempting to cut a deal
without the knowledge of the leadership of IPOB as an enemy
of the people.
“IPOB has chosen Dr Arthur Nwankwo, Dr Alex Ekwueme,
Archbishop Anthony Obinna, Gen. Alex Maduebo, Prof. Ben
Nwabueze and Chief Emeka Anyaoku as credible elders, who
will speak the truth without being easily compromised.”

FALL OF NAIRA TO THE DOLLAR, DON'T BLAME BUHARI :- Sen. Ben Murray Bruce. Many Nigerians are complaining about the constant fall in the value of the Naira and they blame the Government. But is the government really to blame? In truth, our insatiable appetite for all things foreign is to blame. I always fly Arik Business Class whenever I am traveling abroad except Arik does not fly on that route. Not only is an Arik ticket a fraction of the cost of a British Airways ticket, but the money I pay to Arik circulates in Nigeria and helps firm up the Naira’s value. As I speak to you today, a British Airways Business to London is ₦2,103,666 while Arik Business is ₦551,545 yet our elite still fly BA But though Arik offers an affordable alternative to British Airways and other foreign airlines, our big men prefer to pay double what Arik charges to BA and other foreign airlines for the same services and yet they complain about the value of the Naira. I have Nasco cornflakes and I have eaten Kellogs cornflakes. In terms of nutrition and taste they are almost indistinguishable. Yet our elite who will rather eat Kellogs than Nasco cornflakes, wonder why the Naira is falling! Even something like Quaker Oats can be substituted with corn meal known locally as pap. Obasanjo Farms of Nigeria and other large scale poultry farms have the capacity to provide chicken for the entire nation. Since that is the case, why are we even buying imported chicken? In fact what is wrong if every family in Nigeria has a poultry in their backyard to give them eggs and meat? My steward went to Makoko, which is one of the largest fishing communities in Lagos. He wanted to buy fish and they were selling imported frozen fish! Yet in the very waters in front of them, there exist fresh fish that is more nutritious than the cheap frozen fish they were selling. We keep spending over 1 Billion Naira importing rice when our own farmers are capable of meeting our national demand for rice. But for some reason, Nigerians just prefer to buy imported rice. The imported rice we buy in Nigeria is not as good as our local rice because it has been stored for years in silos and treated with chemicals. Moreover, every time you buy it, your money is going out of Nigeria to service an economy in Asia. The end result is that their currency gains value while ours loses value. Have you ever wondered why European Premiership Clubs are so interested in Nigeria? It is because Nigerians spend billions traveling to Europe to watch their games, buy their merchandise and promote their leagues. Yet, back at home, we would not be caught dead watching our own local league. If we will not spend money on made in Nigeria goods and services, how can we expect our Naira to hold its value and appreciate? Obviously we can not cut ourselves off from the world. No nation is an island, but at least we can fly Nigerian airlines, eat locally produced food and patronize our football league. If we do this, not only will our economy grow and produce jobs for Nigerians, it will also make our goods and services improve in value such that they will be attractive enough to be imported. I bought Innoson vehicles as official cars for my staff. I have never lived to regret it one day. They are comfortable and durable. But most of all, I know that my purchase helps to keep jobs in Nigeria and improve the value of the Naira. I urge you to do the same. We have no other country but Nigeria and it is you and I that will make it what it is. If we buy Naija We Will Grow Naira My name is Ben Murray-Bruce and I just want to make Commonsense! |

MY DEAR NIGERIAN YOUTHS,
I am very angry and that is why
I am addressing you. You are the
source of my anger and I want
to vent my spleen- maybe not
at you directly- but at the
arrogance of your ignorance.
.
You sit in front of a computer
and rant all day through social
media but with every click, you
make money - not for yourself -
but for Mark Zuckerberg
(Facebook).
With every megabyte of data
you spend complaining and
maligning, you make stupendous
bucks for Etisalat, Glo and Airtel.
Over the next two years, the
number of Nigerian millionaires
will jump by 47% but most likely
you will not be among because
you are too busy whining and
complaining. And yet about 60%
of Nigeria’s 170m population
are below 35 years. Oh, what a
waste! By the way, Mark
Zuckerberg was 19 when he
started Facebook.
.
Africa’s youngest billionaire,
Ashish Thakkar, is 31. He escaped
from the Rwandan genocide and
relocated to Uganda where he
started an IT business. Collin
Thornton, who made his millions
by fixing bad computers and
setting up Dial-a-Nerd, is 35.
Adam Horowitz, an 18-year-old
entrepreneur, started 30
websites in 3 years before he
became successful. The only thing
you have ever started is an
online petition.
.
Have you heard of Jason Njoku?
He’s 33 and the founder of
Iroko TV. He received $8m
investment into his company just
a few years ago. What he does?
Sharing the same Nollywood films
that you spend hours to watch
online. He didn’t just hang
around waiting for Buhari to
make something happen or
blaming Jonathan for not making
anything
happen.
.
Kamal Budhabhatti was deported
from Kenya but while on the
flight, he thought of the
opportunities in Kenya. He found
his way back after 6 months and
today his company is valued at
$30m. He’s 36.
Have you heard of Chinedu
Echeruo? Apple just paid $1b
for his app. He’s a Nigerian like
you and all he did was attempt
to fix a problem. But for you,
the only thing you attempt to
fix are your nails- and your
hairdo! Chinedu moved to New
York in 1995 and found it
difficult to navigate the city with
ease so he developed HopStop
to fix the problem. Stop listing all
the problems - we know them
already but what are you doing
about them?
-Awolowo was 37, Akintola was
36, Ahmadu Bello was 36, Tafawa
Balewa was 34, Okotie-Eboh was
27 and Enahoro was 27 at the
time of independence of Nigeria.
.
In 1966, the first coup was led
by Kaduna Nzeogwu (29) and
stopped by Murtala Mohammed
(28), TY Danjuma (28),
IBB (25), Sanni Abacha (23) and
Shehu Yar'adua (23).
It brought in Yakubu Gowon as
Head of State at 32 and
Olusegun Obasanjo at 29.
You are in your 40s and you still
sag your trousers. Of course,
you know Linda Ikeji. You’ve
spent hundreds of hours on her
blog laughing and commenting
while she smiles her way to the
bank. She’s just built a house
for her father in the village- just
by you clicking on her gossip and
sharing.
Your day is not complete without
a stop by at her blog. She was
as broke as you are but she
turned a hobby into a business.
Are you
that void of understanding?
You think those politicians have
any regard for you?
That is why I referred to the
arrogance of your ignorance at
the beginning of this diatribe.
.
-You have a false estimation of
yourself. You have an over
bloated ego. -You are only as
good as an election ticket - pure
and simple.-You are only good to
be used and discarded like a
used ballot paper. Who keeps a
used ballot paper anyway?
That is why they only remember
you every four years. You are
like a menstrual pad that is only
useful during the menstrual
period.
.
A food for thought

Trevo Lynn ARMS DEAL: More shocking revelations. Former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki has said he handed over the N10billion given to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination convention delegates to former President Goodluck Jonathan’s Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs, Waripamowei Dudafa and the Aide-de-Camp. He said the money was given out by the two aides, on the directive of Dr. Jonathan. The former NSA said aside collecting the cash, he had nothing to do with it. As at press time, no slush funds had been traced to Dasuki’s personal accounts, it was learnt. Dasuki, who protested that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had subjected him to “media trial”, said such a treatment might jeopardise his defence. Also yesterday, it was gathered that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) confirmed that the N10 billion was sourced from the Signature Bonus Account (oil block Account). But the ex-NSA expressed regrets that he was being vilified by the EFCC when he acted on the instructions and approval of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. He said he had no foreign account and his local accounts are in Skye bank Plc, GTB and Standard Chartered Bank. Dasuki’s Statement of Witness/Accused Person has been filed in the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) ahead of his arraignment today or tomorrow. He said: “I wish to state as follows: That I have been publicly indicted and any statement may jeopardise my defence. Having been briefed by the EFCC investigators on why I was invited, I will answer the charges in court. As such, I do not wish to make any further statement on the matter. “That I am aware in November (I cannot remember the exact date), my office requested the CBN to exchange N10billion from the account of the Office of National Security Adviser domiciled in CBN. The money was exchanged at $47m and some Euros which I cannot remember. The exact amount was delivered at my residence. “The money was for delegates that attended the nomination convention for the PDP. Presidential nomination. The money was paid and sent to Hon. (Waripamowei) Dudafa (SSAP Household) and ADC(C-IC) for distribution on the instruction of the President. Based on the statement of Director of Finance and administration (Salisu), Ibrahim Wambai, and Yazidu Ibrahim, all the cash (both foreign and local) are usually given to them for official use. I also noted the statement of Sagir Bafarawa whose company is Dalhatu Investment which he stated that he received the sum of N4,633,000,000 from the account of the Office of the NSA. I authorised the payment . The money was for vehicles, motorcycles for youth empowerment and women sent to Saudi Arabia. I got the proposal from the President. I do not have the proposal; it should be at the office in the Villa “I have seen the statement of the Zenith Bank account where N5billion was paid. I authorised the following payments, among others: Jabbama Ada Global Nigeria Limited (N400m); R.R. Hospital (N750m); ACACIA Holdings LTD (N1.25b); Barr. I.M. Bala (N150m); African Cable TV (N 350m); Nigerian Defence Academy (N159m); B.B. (N350m); Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (N125,503, 255.11); Coscharis Motors (N119m). “The payments were meant for various partners as earlier listed. I know Basha Nigeria Limited to be owned by Hon. Bello Matawalle. I authorided the payment of N380million for further disbursement to members of the House of Representatives as campaign contribution. I authorised the payment of N751million to HEIRS BDC Limited for conversion to forex from the account of the NSA. Money was used for operation in the Office of the NSA. “I have seen the mandate from the CBN signed by me authorising payment of various sums of money to Dalhatu Investment for the reasons earlier stated. “In respect of funds given to Amb. Bashir Yuguda between December 2014 and 2015, I authorised the payment of N1.5billion from the Office of the National Security Adviser |
