MakindeHassan: Stop posting one sided data that can be misinterpreted. As you post cost of living also post average wage and GDP per capita of each country listed. Luxembourg I know is expensive but their salaries are also high.
Cost of living in Nigeria is low on a global scale but because wages are so low here, it feels like the average man cannot survive to provide basic things.
We need serious wage review in Nigeria otherwise this economy will come to a halt. No one is spending, businesses are struggling. lies. Those places on the list are expensive and salaried can't help. That's why they got on the high costs of living indexes in the first place! With 10k USD salary in Singapore you are just average. very average. And most people on sg don't even earn up to that |

Health › Re: Couple Who are AS AS Genotype Ignore Doctor's Advice, Got Married by bazoodo: 11:12pm On May 09 |
chinchum: No, not same thing.
i explained it to you just now, try to learn it with my example. A pregnant woman has 50% of giving birth to a boy and 50% chance of giving birth to a girl, if i use your "same thing" analogy then the first 2 children of women should all be boy and girl The least number of sickle cell children the woman would have is zero. While there is a 25% chance for each child to inherit sickle cell disease, these probabilities are independent for every individual pregnancy. This means that the outcome of one child does not influence the next.Key Probability BreakdownIndependent Events: Each of the 4 pregnancies has its own 25% risk, similar to flipping a coin; having one result doesn't change the odds for the next flip.Best Case Scenario: There is a 75% chance for each child to be born either completely unaffected (AA) or as a carrier (AS).Range of Outcomes: It is statistically possible for all four children to be born without sickle cell disease (0 kids), just as it is possible for all four to have it (4 kids), or any number in between |
Health › Re: Couple Who are AS AS Genotype Ignore Doctor's Advice, Got Married by bazoodo: 10:49pm On May 09 |
chinchum: Not necessarily, all might be SS. The probability a pregnant woman will give birth to a boy is 50%, assuming she has not tested for gender yet. However, she may get pregnant 4 times and give birth to all 4 girls. If you understand it that way, then it is easy to understand that the probability of AS mother with AS partner to have SS child is 25%. She even have the same probability of giving birth to AA child as the same as SS child. same thing. Means if she has 4 kids at least one would be ss |

Lovelink1991: Are you saying that it doesn't really means it will end in sickle cell 100%? which means if they have 4 kids one will be ss |
Politics › Re: 2027: I Endorse NDC's Zoning Of Presidency To The South - Rabiu Kwankwaso by bazoodo: 5:57pm On May 09 |
banku: Good news.
I am yet to see Northerners voting overwhelmingly for Southern Presidential candidate, of course only if he was annoited like OBJ first term.
Not even Jonathan that got votes from North to South got enough votes from Northwest or Northeast.
Stay tuned Obasanjo pulled votes in 98 99 cos only southerners contested. He and falae. A northerner would always vote a northerner any say anytime. They would vote Atiku big time . |

H numericalguy: The way Obi has been running, prostrating and kissing Kwankwaso's feet is shameful.
I have never seen a politician ass lick another politician like the way Obi has been ass licking Kwankwaso
obi win or lose Kwankwaso is likely to be next president 2031. If obi wins he's promised to do just one term. Of course that's normal if he doesn't the north wont back him for a second and then form an alliance with the southwest and south south. If he loses well Kwankwaso becomes the politician to beat in 2031 since Atiku would have retired that's if he doesn't win this one. |

Politics › Re: Funsho Doherty Decamps From ADC To NDC by bazoodo: 8:17am On May 08 |
EponObi: Tinubu can lose all he wants. Him fit carry 6th self. No one is beating APC in Lagos state. the only reason APC won the governorship in 2023 in Lagos was voter apathy from the obedients. If obi manages to win those guys would troop out for governorship |
Politics › Re: Funsho Doherty Decamps From ADC To NDC by bazoodo: 7:54am On May 08 |
EponObi: Lmaooo... Yeah. Ireti is stucked in ADC with legal battle. She should have moved immediately Obi port.
But Philips Aduda go defeat the two of them. NDC would clear the fact since the presidential elections and national assembly are holding same time. |
Politics › Re: Funsho Doherty Decamps From ADC To NDC by bazoodo: 7:51am On May 08 |
EponObi: Lmaooo... Smart move if you ask me.
He cross carpet GVR. Since GVR chose to stay in ADC, that means he can't get votes through Obi's wave. He won't repeat the same 2023 feat that made him second to Sanwo Olu.
Doherty is now positioned to grab the NDC Lagos governorship ticket. I can easily project him to end second to Femi Hamzat of APC.
What I can also predict is that he won't get as much votes as GVR got in 2023.
Lagos PDP and ADC (GRV as flag bearer) will slug it out for 3rd position. the winner would be determined clearly by who wins the presidency |
Politics › Re: Court To Hear Suit Disqualifying Jonathan From 2027 Presidential Race by bazoodo: 8:26pm On May 07 |
Eriokanmi: Why did Nigerians vote Jonathan out? If you can answer that, case closed. Diezani is still at large, battling corruption case in the UK.
Let me tell you what a lot of you don't know. Obi will do one term, which is what we the Obidients aren't comfortable with right now. They're proposing a single term of 5 years after which kwankwaso would take over and do one term. nigerians didn't vote Jonathan out. The north did and voted in their brother in a biased election. |
Politics › Re: Court To Hear Suit Disqualifying Jonathan From 2027 Presidential Race by bazoodo: 4:46pm On May 07 |
No Eriokanmi: Where will he win tinubu ? Check the electoral map of 2011. Gej's winning votes came from the south and middle best. Don't forget we, the south west voted him too as our consensus candidate. I was supporting AC then. Tinubu will be on the ballot and south west will be shared, north too. As it stands and given the momentum of the day, only Peter obi stands a better chance of challenging tinubu and the reason his supporters had been drooling over obi's matter.
Jonathan's government was riddled with massive corruption. Don't forget that. He was clueless and weak. He was just lucky ni. I'd rather vote tinubu than vote Jonathan. Ok is our mandate Atiku is a joke to you right? So you think the north would vote Obi who would say he wants to do two terms to a tested and tried Jonathan who would only do one term?? The north decides elections in Naija. Reason obi lost and Tinubu won was the north. If obi had gotten solid votes from the north in 2023 he would have been president by now. |

Politics › Re: Jonathan Presidential Ambition Puts Peter Obi's Chances In Jeopardy by bazoodo: 3:15pm On May 07 |
SlavaUkraini: Kwankwaso don't want to Deputize Peter Obi ?
As how na ..... ?
Same Peter Obi that got more votes in Northern Nigeria than him in 2023 ?
The man should humble himself and Deputize Obi, Allow Obi do his one term and he can start thinking of running for the Presidency...
Peter Obi has many Northern heavy weights to pick as his VP candidate and he will make real impact...
Kwankwaso has few Southern heavy weights to pick as his VP candidate to make any real impact at the polls...
Kwankwaso at the head of any ticket is already a tough sell because the general mood in the Nigerian polity is that it is still the turn of the South...
So he should humble himself and Deputize Peter Obi.. which Nigeria? Maybe southern Nigeria. The only reason Kwankwaso didn't do well the last time was because the north backed Atiku. Atiku been the most prominent northern politician and older than Kwankwaso of course they had to back him . Same way the north backed Buhari against Atiku in 2019. The north wants power back and they are known to always want power |

He should have smelled the coffee, support Obi just like Kwankwaso is doing and ride on that to the presidency when it's the turn of the north in 2031. Game that Tinubu played using Buhari in 2015. what a joke. So the North would support an Obi who would insist on doing a second term in 2031 Abi?? |

How does that make sense? |

The kind of propaganda we were fed by those traditional media in this country can only be judged in Heaven. They said Igbos are only selling spare parts at Ladipo.

When that happens, all these GAC and other non elected cabals that pose as so called "apex-decision making body in the state " will become defunct.
It's only a matter of time and how bad the people of the state wants a change from the current political arrangement that hardly favors the people but anointed office holders. APC has lost in other Yoruba states Ekiti Ondo Osun are examples but losing in Lagos would be difficult. This is because anytime an opposition party comes in the ibos immediately side with such party. And then it's easy for the ruling guys to quickly label such party an ibo party. And that they've come to grab Lagos from the yorubas. This happened again in 2023. Happened when Agbaje was running too. Sad |
