Don't worry, Thank God you had been recommended by PTDF for Germany, during the interview , were you asked which country your proposed course on you SOP falls to? They couldn't put u into a course u are not qualified for. During my own interview, I was asked where did my course reside as my SOP carried SOP for ....... course . I did not want to put the university in order not to alter the original SOP submitted online, but I told the interviewer the country and the university and was noted.one of them asked me if i wanted full/partial scholarship and I said full. later said all the best.
One thing is to get recommended by PTDF and the other to be accepted by the main host. Its UK one that is purely PTDF.

bro,so without DAAD now,one cannot go for MSC or PhD in Germany? If one can go to Germany without DAAD, then der is possibility that PTDF can still send more pple to Germany. I want u guys to knw DAT most of d schools advertised den are tuition free,or low tuition, so ptdf will prefer to send more pple to G/F/C to reduce cost.

those contacted for Germany now were recommended for any course in Germany by PTDF and the number might be the number of daad scholarship.
But Many computer/IT people will be on China if recommended, China is ready for human capital development in training , taking care of tuition, feeding and allowance, accomadation , just get recommended by PTDF and meet their requirements.. Go through the Germany/France/China universities advertised. China will be many, follow by France and Germany.

Many will laugh at last.

They said it na. Look at the advert. It is a Strategic Partnership scheme. Without PTDF reccommendation, you cannot be given the Scholarship.

Also PTDF will still do their part in some way; either in stipends or flight allocation or none. It all depends on the partnership deal they did.

DAAD is the Germany government scholarship scheme but require Nominating body. PTDF is the nominating body of Nigeria.

I said this before that this G/F/C stuff is a partnership program, PTDF only represents FG agency nominating you for the host govt. ptdf only cater for flight.

From what I could say is that Those who were contacted to registered on daad, they had been recommended a study in Germany, admission comes in and scholarship.
For France and China, cool down.

has anyone called for china and france? Definitely, candidates were recommended in for a course in Germany , France or China and each of these countries or universities has a special focus/area of interests.

We could not say, they might have snooped each application if they had enough flexisat support and there are software that scans applications nowadays . U know this is Nigeria, but merits still count at time.
Meanwhile , PTDF has a twister handle that responds to people questions.

no confusion here. The explanation is simple. The F/G/C is strategic partnership and UK is PTDF fully-funded , simple. In F/G/C , you get recommended after interview to the host sponsoring govt/uni, if accepted , you get the award. Good luck.

This is purely FALSE!.

with/without PTDF for example, You can secure admission to IFP in France..... But the only clause is that you need to be sponsored by an organization (i.e. taking IFP france as a case study). Prior to this year, many had be getting admission into all this schools be it in france, china and Germany.... but the point was sponsorship to go study there.

This is simple, F/G/C is a partnership program while UK app is PTDF/FG fully-funded. You might be shortlisted in both, it does not matter. You can get scholarship as Int'l student without being recommended by a govt agency BUT any F/G/C is a partnership program. Simple as ABC.

very sure. so u never checked the F/G/C university u applied to . Its just bilateral sponsporing. Those sholarships are there in F/G/C but you need a government agency like PTDF to recommend you to them. In fact most Nigerian research institutes are not exploring the opportunities, may not to loose their staff but some do it , like NAEC etc. many of the guys are outside there. PTDF just incorporate that to expand their responsibility to candidates who can not meet the UK ones which is very competitive and full-funnded by PTDF.

Definitely, Ptdf would have selected some candidates who merit in F/G/C scholarships after interviews and there would no need to select them for UK again, otherwise , it will block some candidates chances in UK selection.
And we should know that UK is more precious and competitive than F/G/C because the UK is fully-funded by PTDF/FG while the F/G/C is joint funding, infact PTDF only pays your flight fare, its the host countries that pays other expenses.

Below was the reply I got from DPR today after it failed to review my application while I met all the requirements for the position I applied for.
The fact is that DPR did not make fairness in the shortlisting qualified candidates for aptitude tests because many applications were still saying pending-successful submission after tests invitations were sent. It was glaring that they did not touch many applications and now sending Application unsuccessful to all pending.

DPR: Why our appilcations still showing pending despite the fact that we met the requirements and yet to be invited for tests? This is unfair shortlisting.

DPR failed to screen every applicant properly thereby making many qualified not shortlisted. We need to raise this issue for the agency to do the necessary things.everyone who met requirement should be allowed to write test . Many well qualified candidates are still pending - successful application.
