If the marketers aren't making profit importing, they'll stop.
Dangote has the option of crashing local prices. He just doesn't want to do it because he wants to maximize profits.
All we want is affordable fuel, as long as the necessary regulatory bodies are making sure that the quality of imported products meet required standards.

Let Dangote reduces margins of his profit by bringing price down, importers would be forced to patronise him, and let the regulators make sure the importers not allowed to bring substandard to the country, because of differences in prices.


Our concern as masses is to buy cheaper and quality petrol and less concerned about who produce the product.
