Urgent1Million: It's for both Dangote and the other marketers. If the marketers aren't making profit importing, they'll stop. Dangote has the option of crashing local prices. He just doesn't want to do it because he wants to maximize profits. All we want is affordable fuel, as long as the necessary regulatory bodies are making sure that the quality of imported products meet required standards. Dangote is currently selling at lower price ...check stations like MRS n other dangote affiliated stations n see for urself. |

Fiscus105: Let Dangote reduces margins of his profit by bringing price down, importers would be forced to patronise him, and let the regulators make sure the importers not allowed to bring substandard to the country, because of differences in prices.
Our concern as masses is to buy cheaper and quality petrol and less concerned about who produce the product. U dont seem to understand anything.they are selling more expensiv than dangote outlets. This is why dangote has purchased trucks n planning to open filling stations across d country to get his product to d final consumers. They want importation by all means becos they able to buy rejected fuel sometimes n bring into d country n make mad moeny |

Am telling you how Lagos state feeds and help poor states, so you have to respect and pray for Lagos. Don't bite the hand that feeds you. South south states feed u n dont make noise. |

Jorussia: We have to be very careful the way we make comparisons. The new airport in Istanbul that was opened in 2018 cost over 11 billion dollars. When Buhari announced $500M loan for 4 airports renovations i knew nothing world class would come out of project.I agree our politicians including Keyamo are thieves, but that Lagos airport total overhaul can't cost below $1bn. Oga they will loot half that sum.hav u ever been to that istanbul airport?m sure u havent.it handles 200million passengers yearly giving u estimate by size.most people fly tru istanbul without visa.On d other hand, lagos airport is not planned that big bt extremely expensive.dont compare d two.no matter wat u do,lagos airport wont get to half d size of istanbul xcept if lagos airport us relocated to ibadan or somewhere elze wit land mass |

If APC loses the next election ,I am sure any incoming government will drop the project and start another Mark my words...even if tinubu wins d calabar highway wont be completed.they jst completed 30km out of 750....even wit all d loans collected.Calculate na n see.they never really intended to complete jst to build d one that links eko atlantic city.tpain na criminal |

Why can't tinubu build new ports at bayelsa or rivers to open up our economy wit those places having direct access to Atlantic Ocean.Bt no ,he wants Lagos monopoly to continue so he can keep collecting his percentage. Why is niger delta neglected?there is water access to ocean.build us another port. |

[quote author=onatisi post=136318704]That Lagos - calabar road is a total waste of money ,the 16 trillion earmarked for that project alone is. Enough to repair to very good standard all the federal Omo if people can't understand this simple statement u just made den we finished in this country.i means 16 trillion in loans to fund a very useless Coastal highway we don't need wen u could repair all federal roads or even scrap d roads n lay new one if u pls or even build train tracks connecting d country wit brand new trains . Bt no,he wants to loot d country tru chargoury by awarding a contract to build a road that won't be finished till 30yrs time |

eldoradoxx: Buhari came with nepotism quite alright, but Tinubu elevated nepotism to a level never seen before. But i. 2025, he should be ready to face the rest of Nigerians that are not from either Lagos or South West. He has governed as if it is only South West that make up Nigeria giving us from other parts of Nigeria an opportunity to conspire and give him the 2015 Jonathan treatment. He thinks rigging will work this time around. Lets see how it works when the majority harbour political animosity for him for being sidelined and running down the economy with massive borrowing with little or nothing to show for it . My own is not even d appointments he's busy giving to lagosian alone.Bt spending n borrowing for projects in Lagos alone is ridiculous. 1 trillion for Coastal road we can connect d whole railway n buy trains to ease up around d country.700bn for rehabilitation of airport..that amount will build new one. |

Lagos State government start your state police, work with the senate, you have enough money, too many people are envious of Lagos. Coastal road is more for Lagos than anywhere else. Also he doesn't intend to finish even half of d project as d aim has always been to create road to his project in lagos |

It's so ridiculous d amount quoted for rehabilitation of Lagos Airport is enough to build new bigger airport. |

sulaak: Tinubu's policy to enhance good policy to remove fuel subsidies, FX Control and implement new tax policies has been destroyed by his policy of corrupt investment, such as the Lagos-Calabar coastal road, holding onto the Refineries and Ajaokuta when they should be sold and a bloated government.
Why waste N500 billion on an airport at the expense of completing the development of the road mentioned above? Becos be n huw cronies do not get to steal if he finishes a project.he isnt really interested in fixing anything.i mean even if u wont repair ajaokuta...why not build new one?or even finish payment for d rails to connect d entire country by train which is a cheaper mode of transport |
