Factional National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party, LP, Abayomi Arabambi, has accused the party’s former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and the President of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero, of planning to overthrow President Bola Tinubu.

Arabambi disclosed that Obi and Ajaero are planning to forcefully break into the National Assembly and “Aso Rock” to overthrow Tinubu.

Condemning the planned one-million-man rally, Arabambi accused Obi of doing everything possible to make Nigeria ungovernable.

In an interview on News Central TV’s programme, Breakfast Central, Arabambi said Obi and Ajaero have their eyes on the presidency, but they lack the right strategy.

He said: “Peter Obi and Joe Ajaero have been planning everything possible to make Nigeria ungovernable, this is a man that has never spoken well about our country since 2023 and that is unpresidential as far as I’m concerned.

“As a Nigerian, if you don’t have any good in your country, you have an aim to make sure that administration does not succeed, that is not the function of the opposition, it’s just for you to put the ruling party on their toes.

Whatever they are doing you must come out with a possible solution, it’s not just for you to be willing for the failure or downfall of that administration.

“When he was a governor, you all knew what the man going about with him then, Umeh, said about him during their second term.

“He called Obi a rebel, he said Obi is a man who wants to be controlling him but he, as APGA National Chairman, is not open to control.

Peter Obi and Ajaero should explain to Nigerians and the National Security Adviser what exactly they want to do with the one-million-man rally, are they campaigning for Obi to be president under which party? This is not an election period and you are now claiming that you want to mobilize one million people.

“It is an attempt to forcibly enter the National Assembly and Aso Rock and overthrow the president. Peter Obi and Ajaero have their eyes on the presidency but they don’t want to do it through elections.”

Not possible even if that is his intention because other ambitious private refinery projects are under way including that of the Abdul Samad Rabiu-led BUA effort in Akwa Ibom and the Dr. Lukman Bolaji-led Gasoline Integrated International refinery in Ogun State shown below.

All in all, I love Tinubu's vision and where it is taking Nigeria with decentralisation effort to remove important sectors and processes out of the hands of greedy politico-business cabals and place them in the hands of private sector player who will offer more value to Nigerians as individuals

Nigeria, as a nation, gains immensely in terms of considerable growth in wealth and economic health via developments such as the end of petrol importation making way for the laudable emergence of Nigeria as an exporter of the much more profitable refined derivative of crude.

It is a potentially great journey Nigeria has embarked on and I pray such is not truncated by those in the group I cited in bold above.

CNG is also a by-product of natural gas so it is possible they will be producing their CNG. An extra boost would be having refuelling depot's scattered around the country.
