Can someone go to jail without being charged to court for a criminal offense? There was no criminal case to start with. It was simply a civil case of forfeiture. Do you understand what a civil case is?

According to Keyamo,$460,000 was just tax on the interest accrued from Tinubu's investment. Now assume the tax is 10% of the interest, that means the interest is $4.6 million. Similarly, if the interest is 10% of the principal,then the principal is $46 million.
Now let's assume Tinubu's annual salary as an accountant with ExxonMobil back then was $100,000 before tax & that he never spent a dime out of it, then it took Tinubu 460 years to accumulate the $46 million which he invested. One might be tempted to believe that Tinubu is truly an ancestor.
Now Keyamo wants us to believe that the US tax system is flawed & not automated such that deductions are not made at source.
Tinubu must have entered into a plea bargain & snitched on some highly placed members of the drug cartel.
DEA & FBI always want to get to the top of the food chain so In exchange for the credible info he provided, he forfeited $460,000 & they let him go. Mind you even hardcore terrorists r granted amnesty once they help govt with credible info that help apprehend high value targets.
