Well, I pay tithes and it has been an amazing one for me... I was instructed by God to do some kind of giving and before the end of the period, my finances tripled.
Even when I didn't have enough, just ask me, I fit give my last card and God has been faithful.
At some point, I gave 20% of tithes.

Am I being deceived by these "pastors"?
Well, I'm old enough to be responsible for my foolishness if it is true that a pastor is somewhere cajoling me... and I'm also responsible for how I manage the finances God gave me.

That being said, everyone is entitled to their valid opinions, and people mostly live their lives based on what they experienced, their backgrounds, point of views.

It is true as you have written that God should be worshiped in spirit and in truth, yes, your heart and intentions must be well set with God in the secret place then your public display would have good meaning.

If you are a dweller in the secret place of the Most High, you are instructed to let your so shine before men that ALL would see... It's important for all to see, the only thing is that you should be acknowledged by God that the light you display is one He commends.

Yeah, I've read what you wrote about worshiping God in spirit and in truth. It seems you're really passionate about the subject, which is okay. Maybe try to "stop" listening to the songs that could offend you, don't give them the power to "piss" you off.

For me, it's not every gospel song I listen to and definitely no secular music is on my phone but the ones my spirit agrees with, full blast on repeat.

Na them and God get agreement, if He gave them assignment and they are doing another thing, the cost is on them. My own is to look and pass, if I'm led to call them to order, if I can't find a way, I will just pray for them... C'est fini...

I believe everybody runs with the revelation they find and what works for one doesn't have to work for another. I have witnessed the true power of God and His words are yes and amen. Even if the whole world wants to stand against me in Christ, na there I go dey. My God is worthy to be praised, amen!!
