This type of relationship takes a lot of effort and each person has to be on the same page and committed to making the relationship work. It will benefit the both of you if you all can visit each other during those 5 years that you will be away. If it comes to a point that someone (you or her) begins to drift (hopefully this won't happen), then don't hesitate to end the relationship. Just be friends and when you complete your studies and decide to go back home, if it's meant to be you will still have have the opportunity of making her your queen. Good luck!

Am curious as to the type of black men you deal with that appear less romantic than the white men
