Yes he is attached to Obi I guess for the same reason as so many other Nigerians, I am yet to see how participating in the next election will save Nigerians from this bad government..... odejimioflagos: |
Why should I write it as an open letter to Tinubu....? ebukal67x: |
Nigerians will waste another 4 years if they fall for the trick of participating in another flawed election in 2027.... A revolution that will lead to the restructuring or division of the country is the only way out.... tundegan: |
Since I discovered Nedmedia on YouTube, I've overtime come to like many of his analytical Youtube videos dissecting several Nigerian political issues as I frequently share some of his videos on social media websites like Nairaland..... Lately, I find it ridiculous that Ned, as smart as he is can not see that participating and voting in 2027 presidential elections remains a total waste of time as long as Tinubu is concerned.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4blh8IQ5Eo In the video above and several other videos on his channel, he keeps selling 2027 election as a solution to Nigeria's problems, pushing his audience to vote. He makes the case that if majority of Nigerians troop out to vote and protect their vote, INEC will in fear not rig it. I hope he knows that the real results that INEC announces during many of these elections are not the ones gotten from the polling units but the one in Mahmood Yakubu's pocket in Abuja.... As long as Tinubu and other APC political criminals are in charge, it will be impossible to get a fair election in 2027 that will allow Nigerians to vote them out of power. It is obvious that Nedmedia likes Peter Obi and wants him to win in the next election, he should be realistic to know that Obi or any other decent individual can not win the 2027 election even if 90% of the population vote for him.... INEC, the judiciary and other sensitive institutions that will play a crucial role in the next election have been captured already, what happened in the recent Edo and Ondo elections should've cleared anyone's doubt on this issue. The national assembly that should be the voice of the people against the excesses of the executive arm have been totally compromised, they are in bed with Tinubu and won't suppprt any INEC or electoral reforms that will favour the people in upcoming 2027 presidential election. Let's say the election is somehow miraculously transparent and fair, a Tinubu's victory will not be surprising as it is obvious that due to the widespread hunger as a result of the prolonged devastating effects of Tinubu's bad policies on the economy, there will be many Nigerians who will be eager to sell their votes to the highest bidder, this nationwide trend in addition to the sophisticated rigging system that will be deployed as a backup plan will guarantee a massive victory to Tinubu and his evil APC party in 2027. In my opinion, the only way Nigerians can be saved from this evil government is through a national reset, a foundation reset that will lead to a total restructuring (power decentralization) or division of the country because as far as I am concerned, the 2027 presidential election outcome has already been decided by Tinubu and his cabal, Nigerians have no other option but to unite and reset the country's political landscape towards decentralization of political/economic powers that will favour regions/states and weaken the center, this is what I expect Nedmedia to be telling his audience, based on his other thought provoking analysis videos, I believe he is smart enough to know this.... |
In my opinion, only those that are wilfully ignorant or tribalistic will be deceived.... SalamRushdie: |
It is obvious that Tinubu and his insincere government are playing with Nigerians. Any serious government that truly wants to make progress should've invited an independent third party to carryout a thorough audit on the financial records of NNPC.... Kyari and other members of the NNPC management team should stop lying to Nigerians.... it's a shame.... |
The sources clarified to SaharaReporters on Wednesday that the NNPCL came up with the idea of blending Crack C5 with the Naphtha from the primary units because the secondary units are not ready yet. Top sources at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) have insisted that the reopened Port-Harcourt Refinery's blending of "Crack C5 with the Naphtha" as Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol, would have an "effect" on vehicles. The NNPCL insiders gave the warning while confirming to SaharaReporters that the secondary units of the NNPCL Port Harcourt Refinery in Rivers State are yet to start working and are yet to be commissioned. The sources clarified to SaharaReporters on Wednesday that the NNPCL came up with the idea of blending Crack C5 with the Naphtha from the primary units because the secondary units are not ready yet. The source said that though blending is a standard practice and that PMS is a blend of products, “but the blended products are reformate. Gasoline is produced from the secondary units of the process plant. These secondary units are yet to be commissioned." According to the NNPCL sources, “Right now it is only the primary units that are on; that is what processes the crude to intermediate products with the exception of three finished products which are Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Kerosene and diesel. “PMS which is a blend of products is gotten from the secondary units. Because the secondary units are not ready, that is why the idea of blending Crack C5 with the Naphtha from the primary units. Crack C5 has an effect on cars.” SaharaReporters on Tuesday reported that NNPCL confirmed its exclusive reports that only the old Port Harcourt Refinery in Rivers State is working and that the refinery is not trucking out PMS but blended gasoline. The NNPCL’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, in a statement said that the old Port Harcourt Refinery is currently operating at 70% of its installed capacity, and that it produces Straight-Run Gasoline (Naphtha), blended into 1.4 million liters of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol daily. SaharaReporters had reported that top sources in the know of the operation of the refinery revealed to SaharaReporters that NNPCL was not trucking out PMS from the Port Harcourt Refinery as the company claimed on Tuesday. SaharaReporters had been informed that the NNPCL instead bought "Cracked C5 petroleum resins" and blended it with other products including Naphtha to sell to the Nigerian public as though the refinery processed it. Top sources familiar with the activities of the company and the state of the refinery had also told SaharaReporters that the claim of trucking out PMS from the reopened refinery was a lie. The sources had earlier said, “The plant is running but it is the old one of 60,000bpd capacity but you can’t get PMS from it except diesel. The part that produces PMS is yet to start." Speaking further with SaharaReporters, a top source in the refinery had said, "If you hear they are trucking out PMS from the depot, know it is a lie. They bought Crack C5 from Indorama company in Port Harcourt and blended it with Naphtha to sell to the public.” The source added, “Cracked 5 is modified petroleum resins.” Confirming SaharaReporters’ stories, Soneye in a statement on Tuesday evening, said, “The Board and Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) express heartfelt appreciation to Nigerians for their support and excitement over the safe and successful restart of the 60,000 barrels-per-day Old Port Harcourt Refinery. “This achievement marks a significant step forward after years of operational challenges and underperformance. “We are, however, aware of unfounded claims by certain individuals suggesting that the refinery is not producing products. “For clarity, the Old Port Harcourt Refinery is currently operating at 70% of its installed capacity, with plans to ramp up to 90%. The refinery is producing the following daily outputs: “Straight-Run Gasoline (Naphtha): Blended into 1.4 million liters of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS or petrol); Kerosene: 900,000 liters; Automotive Gas Oil (AGO or Diesel): 1.5 million liters; Low Pour Fuel Oil (LPFO): 2.1 million liters; Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG): Additional volumes.” Soneye had added, “It is worth noting that the refinery incorporates crack C5, a blending component from our sister company, Indorama Petrochemicals (formerly Eleme Petrochemicals), to produce gasoline that meets required specifications. “Blending is a standard practice in refineries globally, as no single unit can produce gasoline that fully complies with any country’s standards without such processes. “Additionally, we have made substantial progress on the new Port Harcourt Refinery, which will begin operations soon without prior announcements." https://saharareporters.com/2024/11/27/exclusive-secondary-units-nnpcl-port-harcourt-refinery-not-working-yet-blending-crack-c5 |
The next few weeks will determine if NNPC is lying to Nigerians over the refineries.... |
Top sources familiar with the activities of the company and the state of the refinery told SaharaReporters that the claim of trucking out PMS from the reopened refinery was a lie. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) is not trucking out Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol, from the Port Harcourt Refinery as it claimed on Tuesday, top sources in the know have revealed to SaharaReporters. SaharaReporters was informed that the NNPCL instead bought "Cracked C5 petroleum resins" and blended it with other products including Naphtha to sell to the Nigerian public as though the refinery processed it. Top sources familiar with the activities of the company and the state of the refinery told SaharaReporters that the claim of trucking out PMS from the reopened refinery was a lie. The sources had earlier said, “The plant is running but it is the old one of 60,000bpd capacity but you can’t get PMS from it except diesel. The part that produces PMS is yet to start." Speaking further with SaharaReporters, a top source in the refinery said, "If you hear they are trucking out PMS from the depot, know it is a lie. They bought Crack C5 from Indorama company in Port Harcourt and blended it with Naphtha to sell to the public.” The source added, “Cracked 5 is modified petroleum resins.” Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals Limited (IEPL) is a Group Company of Indorama Corporation, a Poly-Olefins producer based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Meanwhile, Naphtha can be produced from a variety of sources, including: crude oil, natural-gas condensates, petroleum distillates, coal tar, and peat. The NNPCL on Tuesday in a statement, backed by some videos of NNPCL branded trucks, had announced that the Port Harcourt Refinery had become operational and that it had started trucking out PMS from the refinery. However, SaharaReporters was reliably informed that the company only bought Cracked C5 petroleum resins from Indorama and blended it with other products including Naphtha to sell to Nigerians. SaharaReporters earlier reported that the NNPCL claimed that it had fulfilled its pledge of re-streaming the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC), signalling the commencement of crude oil processing from the plant and delivery of petroleum products into the market. On Tuesday, the company had claimed that trucks began loading petroleum products which include PMS, Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) or diesel and Household Kerosene (HHK) or Kerosene, while other product slates will be dispatched as well. Speaking during a brief ceremony to mark the commencement of products loading at the Refinery on Tuesday in Port Harcourt, the Group CEO, Mr. Mele Kyari, described the commencement of the loadout activities as a monumental achievement for Nigeria which signifies a new era of energy independence and economic growth for the country. SaharaReporters exclusively reported that the Port Harcourt Refinery celebrated by the NNPCL as working is the old refinery built in 1965 which could only produce diesel and is of 60,000 barrels' capacity. "The refinery is in two parts. The old refinery built 1965 of 60, 000 barrel’s capacity which when commissioned will only give you 1million litres of PMS. You have the new refinery built 1989 which is of 150,000 barrels per stream day. "If commissioned, it will give you 10 million litres of PMS. As of today, when they say Port Harcourt refinery is coming on stream, they are referring to the old one which we were battling with for months," another top source had revealed. "The new one is far from ready. We are looking at 2026 for the new one to be ready. If we finally commission the old one, it will be insignificant because Nigeria will not feel the impact," the source noted. Tuesday’s move by the NNPC had come after a series of failed deadlines for the commencement of production at the refinery in Nigeria’s oil-rich Rivers State. https://saharareporters.com/2024/11/26/exclusive-nigerian-petroleum-company-nnpcl-not-trucking-out-petrol-port-harcourt |
This is not the first time NNPC will make such announcement only to backtrack..... It may be another propaganda to distract Nigerians from Tinubu's failed policies, will wait and see how it goes.... yarimo: |
Again, hope it is not another propaganda but if it is true then is the best christmas gift to Nigerians.... |
It's amazing to learn that the national refineries (PH and Kaduna refineries) are now fully "working" based on NNPC's latest announcement today..... If true then this is a GOOD news for Nigeria's economy..... I expect a drastic fall in dollar to naira exchange rate by at least 40% within the 1 month as this should guarantee an end to importation of petroleum products. I expect a crash that will see the naira trade at between N800 to N900 to $1 early next year. Regarding petrol price, due to the basic economic law of demand and supply, the excess supply of petroleum products into Nigerian market by these refineries including the competitive pricing with Dangote refinery should lead to a total crash in petrol price, I expect that within 1 month time, petrol price should fall to between N600 to N700 per litre..... I hope NNPC and the government are telling the truth this time around.... It is indeed good news if these refineries are trully working and processing petroleum products..... hmmmm interesting.... |
I am not a journalist and never claimed to be one in my post.... I only shared my views regarding Hundeyin's submission about Nigerians..... ebukal67x: |
I did not disclose my tribe to you as igbo but your delusional mind will not let you rest..... To you as I guess you are yoruba, anyone with a contrary opinion or critical of Tinubu's government is igbo.... while for the igbos, anyone against Obi is Yoruba.... Nigeria needs to be restructured or divided for the people to make genuine progress.... Factcheck0001: |
The mass tribal political psychosis will not allow you and many other people visiting this website to reason objectively.... Knowing my tribe is useless to the serious mess you are facing in Nigeria.... Since you've failed with tribal card, I guess your next attempt will be to label me an IPOB supporter.... For your information, I did not support Obi or any of the main candidates in the last presidential election, you can read my opinion regarding the last election here https://www.nairaland.com/7578573/take-tinubu-atiku-obi-sowore Factcheck0001: |
You're wrong as I am not David..... He is not perfect but I appreciate the effort he has made to help Nigerians especially in the last presidential election. It is obvious that majority of Nigerians including you do not deserve him or the sacrifice he made.... Flangelo12: |
David Hundeyin is a national hero that should be celebrated for his courage to hold Nigerian leaders accountable and efforts in advancing Nigeria's democracy..... tundegan: |
I just read a disheartening post made by David titled "David Hundeyin Dumps Nigeria Politics, Accuses Followers Of Not Believing Him" in which he admitted his failure and frustration as regards the continued foolish attitude of many Nigerians towards defending their oppressors. In all that he said, this part of his submission below is regrettably true and sad.... ......The thing is that I cannot really do more than I have already done. I'm already at my physical and mental limits. I have gone through things and put myself through experiences that normal people will never witness in 3 lifetimes.David Hundyin in my opinion is a national hero because of the great sacrifices he has made over the course of his investigative works especially in the last presidential election..... It is unfortunate that many Nigerians even though they failed to stop the emergence of Tinubu as president have continued to attack him for revealing the truth about Nigerian leaders..... It is shameful that even as Tinubu has succeeded in destroying Nigeria's economy there are still a large number of foolish Nigerians defending his callous government.... Nigeria's situation remains irredeemable partly because of the political tribal religious psychosis that has taken root in the minds of many.... Due to deep rooted hateful tribalistic and religious sentiments among Nigerians when it comes to national issues, many Nigerians will always be ready to support lies instead of the truth as long as it satisfied their selfish tribalistic religious corrupt sentiments.... Tinubu and other evil people in his government will always win and manipulate the people as a result of this political psychosis plaguing majority of Nigerians (Both the educated and uneducated)...... When I think about the hopelessly helpless corrupt selfish state of the average Nigerian mind, it been easily susceptible to be manipulated by trivial issues, I do sometimes feel like giving up totally on Nigerians as David points out in the except below. .....Even right now, Nuhu Ribadu's NSA Office has been busy speaking to the authorities in Kenya, Ghana and the UK as recently as last week, while they continue to work on their obsession of bringing me to Abuja as a trophy for Emperor Bola Ahmed.Indeed, David is spot on, it appears to be hopeless trying to make a positive impact as the silly attitude of many Nigerians on how they fight over trivial issues as against serious national issues will continue to frustrate efforts made towards creating any progressive national awareness.... The APC political propaganda agents and manipulators who are paid to spread divisive hateful tribal religious propaganda continues to smile to the bank while Nigerians foolishly swallow their mainstream narrative and continue to fight each other online/offline as Tinubu and his looting associates plunder the nation's resources.... A vicious cycle that only guarantees that people like David Hundeyin will continue to be demonized and persecuted.... In the midst of this hopeless situation, it is only Nigerians that can save this country, this is a choice the Nigerian people will have to make if they want a better future for their children and to salvage the country, Nigerians must fight for a foundational reset, this reset is inevitable because the current unitary centralized governing system has failed, it can not and will not work for the benefit of the people due to the irreparable damage done as a result of the pervasive injustice, corruption and polarization of certain evil divisive vices like hateful tribalism and religious bigotry ochestrated by politicians that continues to weaken the people's resolve to condemn oppressive leaders and agitate with one voice for good governance. In a sane country, David Hundeyin's work on Tinubu's drug crime history should've been enough to disqualify him in the last election but many Nigerians lacked the will to unite in the call for his disqualification due to obvious bias sentimental reasons. I believe that it is only through restructuring (power decentralization) or disintegration (dividing the country) can sanity be restored, can these vices be tamed and effective governing system be entrenched... Nigeria's unity has been battered to the extent that what is obtainable now is an artificial cosmetic unity which seem to only exist on paper.... decentralizing political power by restructuring or breaking up the country is an inevitable cause that will guarantee that good governance is attainable at the grass root as political and economic power will be restored to the indigenous people of each region to enable them develop at their own pace and hold their leaders accountable without the noise or deep rooted hateful divisive propaganda that exists today.... I may be wrong but I think Nigerians will be better off in a decentralized system.... I hope Nigerians can fight for this instead of waiting to vote in another hopeless electoral exercise in 2027.... |
Well, it is my right to post my content here as it is your right to comment on it or make your own posts.... Based on what is happening as regards the continued unfair moderation practices I will reconsider my stance on using this platform going forward.... EeyanMayweather: |
Your insult means nothing as it is obvious you are complacent in encouraging censorship on this platform which obviously you won't tolerate when done to you.... You are happy to see my post deleted because you do not like my opinions here hence you are quick to dish out insult..... It is unfortunate, I don't expect much from users like you on this platform but surely any unjust unchecked biased actions done today will definitely have consequences tomorrow.... I may reconsider my use of the platform going forward..... UltraSolid: |
The mods in political section have once again deleted my last post titled "Suspended Over Tinubu, What I Learnt About This Platform" for no reason...... The unjust censorship continues on Nairaland even after some other users have made posts complaining about the bias moderation practices..... |
Yes they did not confirm or deny it but you need to consider the premise on which the FOIA inquiry was made..... You said "....Does Hundeyin's understand the English language at all? CIA will say the same thing even about Hundeyin himself, they will say it about, for example, Believeintruth....." They may say the same thing for Hundeyin but Hundeyin or Believeintruth has no pre-existing drug related case or any other criminal history.... It is not the same thing..... as it relates to Tinubu's drug criminal history.... aswani: |
