Hmm slimy the second day that's serious o. Well what I think is wrong is u probably did not allow the cake †✽ cool properly before decorating.
Or ur cake wasn't well baked as in its not cooked. †✽ check if u cake is totaly baked,always use a tester,if u don't have use a clean knife †✽ check. If cake is baked,it shouldn't stick †✽ ur tester. Easy on milk
Then always sterilise ur cake board,use edible spirit or alcohol †✽ clean ur cake board before putting ur cake on them.
Then always use the best of ingredient.
I don't use preservatives on my cakes n they stay at room temperature for like 7days and when well freezed can stay for months.

I think ur sculpting was superb, for a first attempt I give u B+ but the problem is ur fonbdant covering.
Always make ur fondant a day or two before use,when u dirty ice with buttercream,let it be smooth and bring out all the edges of ur cake. Always allow fondant †✽ set on a cake before pasting any thing †✽ avoid bumps
When rollng out make ur fondant at least 1/4inch thick. Then take ur time †✽ smoothen the fondant on the cake,spend at least 2 †✽ 3mins don't be in a hurry. When ur cake is smoothe lustre it,this helps †✽ give the cake perfect finish.
Ur cutouts should be rolled thinner like 1/8inch thick. Ur black cutout was too thick.I still wonder ow u r able †✽ arrange those tiles I have never been able †✽.that's a lot of work.
Colour cordination was perfect. Overall u did a good job and practise make perfect. 6/10

I don't see why my cake thread should be moved †✽ advert section. Befor I created that thread u specfically told me that only cake threads with advert will be moved †✽ advert sectn,I wasn't advertising i was just having fun with my thread. The rule says no advert but no rule that states no individual thread with cake pix.
Why must I lump my cake pix with some other people px. Everybody registered on nairaland individually so why must we have a group thread?
If a thread does not abide by the rules of thiiis section then such thread should be dealt with, Ʊ don't just remove other thread just cos someone has gone against the rule.
I think u are not being fair. I was really having fun with my thread.

Hello people am going †✽ be giving free classes on cake baking and decorating †✽ two. Free of charge. The class will be fo just 4weeks tuesdays and thursdays.
What qualifies u
Must be willing and hard workiing
Must be unemployed or Assu people with evidence of student id
Must reside in Abuja or its environs
Must be puntual
Must be able †✽ write
I will subsidize your tf transport fare.
I am currently training someone from nairaland foc and she has been a very good and hard workingh lady.pls I don't want unserious individual o. She has made me †✽ want †✽ do more. My little contributn †✽ humanity

Yes 6 eggs †✽ a cup of cake flour when making sponge cakes.and a cup of flour is not a milk tin. A standard measurinng cup is not same as using a milk tin. And the sponge am talking about is the american sponge cake the airy,fatless sponge. So I know wot am talking about
