Just to correct you buhari never plan a coup in 1983. The coup was plan because they rigged the 1983 election in Yorubaland. It was a Yoruba man Tunde Idiagbon and his friend Bako that planned the coup and overthrow the govt. When they attacked the presidential house in abuja.  Bako got killed , but because of the way nigeria works. It was difficult for Tunde Idiagbon to become head of state not to create problem , since it was going to be seen as an ethnics coup. it took them the whole night to get replacement. nigerian waited for long to know who?  That night they went to bring Buhari to become head of state. Buhari was a replacement for Bako.

That account for why Tunde Idiagbon  was  in control of the govt.

You must ask yourself , why do you think Obasanjo lost his street, his ward, his local council, his senatorial area, his state, his ethnics group. And his friend could not rig it for him.  It is because they know what would happen to them? do you still think nigerian have  courage to riot.

Go and touch thier children and  osama bin laden would look like  childplay. You want to stay clear of thier politics. If you are president of a country and the nigeria govt or president of nigeria ask for a favour, stay away because you risk your own country people life. it is not worth going into fight with nigerian. They would finish you.

This is why I have been asking for the removal of edo, delta Yorubas and know what it may lead to a civil war. you can see what  Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab did, you dont want to get Canada or the USA in a fight that is not thier business. stay away from other people fight.

Look in Nigeria, if you take a man child or kill a man child or do anything that lead to a man child. He would cut off your head and get away with it.   if he refuse to cut your head off, His ethnics group would cut off your head. Do those people have courage to riot?  while dont you go and take a nigerian child. And see if they would not pick up children from your country in Nigeria. Jonathan main problem is wrong advice.  Look he should not been seen in public with Dora Akunyili or diepreye alamieyeseigha or tony anenih( nigerian believe he can rig any election, even the one in Heaven). And all this borrowing should stop. He should been seen as the man trying to save money for the nation. Why the hell did Jega get N87 billion. Nigerian would not want a president that give INEC 87 billion.  Jonathan should go for my option. I know where to get 120,000 laptop for $100 million saving him $300 million.  He has to make nigerian happy, and not some Cabal, . This is what nigerian want. He has to try to start thinking this way.

Ndi Okereke-onyiuke should not beg anyone, She should go into business now. She would do very well. In the next few years, she would not need a job but she would been given people job. God has not called her to be an employee but an employer.

This is how the tax system would work. If Adenuga glo makes $100 million. Adenuga would have three option.

a. Either pay 40% tax
b. Either use the 40% to expand his business for that years
c. Either use 40% or part of it for community development while the rest may be for option  A or B.

You see , you have to force business to expand. Only the government can do so. This is the way to do so. with tax. Either they pay tax or use the tax money to expand thier business. This is how developed countires force business to expand and create jobs.

You see Glo or MTN should not be on NEPA, they should have built thier own small electricity generation station and sell it to people within the area they are.

If I am president.
Many people would own their generations station in Nigeria. And some people can afford to have big generators and run thier own small NEPA on thier street and charge the people on thier street and cut NEPA off the street. And make income for them self and family.

You dont need NEPA on every street in NIgeria. I would make small business men take up the offer and have medium scale generator without pollution and let them generation electricity on thier street.

On the issue of MEND , If  I am president, I would give small scale oil licence to niger delta people to refine oil , and teach them how to refine oil. I would introduce legal bulking with limitation. It would help the area of the niger delta to develop. It would make many of them millionaires over night and they can build thier society.

you are wrong we dont need debt to be develop. We need good leadership. Yes business men can be in debt, but not country. What nigeria should do is get business to get involve in community development.

If I was the president , what I would do is any business that make more than a level of money let use $100 million as example. I would make the tax 40% of the profit.  Or they have another option. That company can either use the 40% tax to expand thier business to create more jobs or use it for community development and write it off as tax. This is what I would do if I am president. This way business would have no option than help develop thier society.

If I am president I would reduce federal allocation from 55% to 35% and increase state allocation from 25% to 55%. This way state can use the poll of money for community development and I would take my hand over electricity and allow each state to own a grid or joint grid with other states.

In nigeria we have a cake we bake. We call that cake,  national cake. Nigerian share that national cake. Look if they appoint your family into any position. You and your family just got your own portion of National cake. You better start eating fast, because they may remove the food from your mouth tomorrow. this is why you see them trying to eat the cake fast with 10 fingers before the election. If they give my young brother a position. We just got our own portion of the national cake. And they expect you to go and collect your own.

Look if they appoint someone into a position and he refuse to eat out of the national cake. His own family would stop talking to him. they would hold emergency meeting against him. His wife would leave him the next day.  You dont know anything. even his father and mother, would stop talking to him.


You see why some section of the media is shouting for IBB is because IBB is not a greedy man, ask older nigerian. IBB does not eat alone. He can distribute national cake. And he would send the cheque in the mail. I am not telling you to support IBB.  But I am just given you how nigeria works. It is just an example how nigeria works.

Nigeria do not own nairaland. nairaland is linked to some people abroad. Who are using it to run fraud. there are complain by people, in other website of fraud on website run by the same people.

You have to understand how politics works. You try to win as many state as possible.

Ribadu can not win any state in nigeria politics, even in the north. Any one not pro north among northerner is finshed in northern politics.  In northern politics. People who do not believe in Arewa(north) first do not win.  You see, go on youtube Ribadu went around the world talking about electoral reform, which would put the north into minority. Northerner hate that. And for talking about electoral reform that would put northerner into minority status. Some northerner may even kill him , if he step his foot on the soil of kano.

I would not be shock if i  beat Ribadu in north , even while I am not a northerner, just because I have been pushing for them to cut off edo,delta and yoruba from nigeria so that the north become majority. And ribadu is just speaking Turashi, northerners are not looking for people who are speaking Turashi. I am telling you of deep ethnics politics. I am telling you knowing Northerner, he would give me his child for making the north majority.  We had a civil war over North and south, which were aftermath of a south coup. Fashola has a chance in AC to win the presidency.  If Fashola run for president. What it means is that AC would pick up 15 states or more. If he pick someone that I have in mind to be vice president.  He would defeat Jonathan in a free and fair election. But how free is the election in nigeria. ?  Fashola is ahead  , he can show people what he has done for a short time. There is someone in the PDP from the north that if Fashola pick as vice president, the show is over for Jonathan.  I do not want to name that person over the internet. Oshimole major problem is that he is just a new governor and would take time for any project to be finished. The AC if they play thier card very well , can come to power.  Fashola main fear is , he loss the election. He would have nothing to fall back. But look at it this way, he would have won more state for his party in the governorship election.  But the AC has to merge with the Labour congress party. It is very important for a win.

Saraki stand even a better chance of been president than Jonathan, with Amachie.  A saraki presidency/Amachie vice president. is another option. And that why the Supporter of Jonathan knowing this have been trying to destroy saraki and amachie names. So that the PDP do not take that option.  Jonathan main problem is the last 11 years achievement in politics. It has been hard for them to even post it on the internet.And other politician should learn from this, if you have nothing to show people.  This is one obstacle Jonathan would face.

Another factor  Jonathan would have a problem, is that he is from Bayelsa state, the state with the largest per capital head in Nigeria. Billion have been pump to the state, but nothing have been seen. Stole by a criminal group. The people of bayelsa are among the poorers in nigeria. They have never seen the billion pump to them.
Another factor  Jonathan would have a problem is his close friend and political associate Diepreye Alamieyeseigha , who was arrested in London by scotland yard for fraud.  Another factor  Jonathan would have a problem is the arrest of Akingbola, a Pastor of the redeemed church, and a close associate of Pastor Adeboye.  the church has over 9000 branches in Nigeria. 100 times more member than the PDP.  And I do not think the church member would be smiling at the moment.   Is party the PDP chance in Yorubaland is low. Yoruba tend to support Yoruba activitist. Bankole , Obasanjo etc have never been seen as one. So his chance in Yorubaland is ver very  low. No party can win Yorubaland without having  Yoruba activitist. The only way Jonathan can win is structural reform. remove the Edo,delta Yorubas from nigeria. Making him the only southerner candidate against the north.   Jonathan is  fighting too many battle. Buying 3 private jet during an election is not the best decision to take. While  citizen do not have food to eat. Negative vibe is not good for election.

On IBB, IBB cant win as long as Buhari is running. most northerner do not like IBB too. It is not only in the south. Buhari stand a better chance than IBB. In term of an average northerner , Buhari is more liked than IBB. This would be critical to where they vote.

Honest between me and you Jonathan is fighting too many battle. I wonder how his advisers think.

Some of this nigeria newspaper make us laugh. Give me one reason why AC would want to field Nuru Ribadu. There is No reason, why they would field Nuru Ribadu. Can you name one state Nuru Ribadu would win in NIgeria. What about ZERO, sound to you like. Even in the North, the superpowers in the North would never agree to allow Nuru Ribadu.

IBB would rather die than see Nuru ribadu has president.  90% of northern business would make sure Nuru ribadu NO. He cant win the north. Nuru ribadu is not popular in the north.  And going about saying northerner would be minority, it show you nuru ribadu is not in touch with north. (electotal reform).

Forget Nuru ribadu. He would never be president. It is PDP that want AC to field Nuru Ribadu. Nuru Ribadu can not win a state in Nigeria. He can not win even Adamawa. Nigeria is a corrupt society.

When the new generation bank came on, people stop using the old generation banks. It is just of late they started pumping young people into this old bank management.

Many people in nigeria pull all of their money from the Old generation banks and put thier money in the new generation banks.  The reason was  many of the old generation banks were not effective and not well managed. This is how ICBN asset increase. And dont forget that akingbola had good reputation with the average nigerian compare to the management of banks like old banks. old banks  because of thier relationship with the government of nigeria make it impossible for people to want to use them.

To be honest with you, at a time in nigeria only a silly man may use this old bank at that point, because they were badly managed. And this is the danger the take over of the bank by the CBN of nigeria would lead to. Poor management.  And stealing of public fund , which was the old banks did represented.

Look the bank of North was not effective because northerner had so much borrowed money from the bank. That even thier car parking lot was owning. Akingbola, Subo, Jim ovia made the ddifferent in Banking. Dont forget many churches in nigeria use ICBN and they have money and when you compare to old banks, where is thier source of market or fund. Nobody wanted to wait the next day to collect thier money , or sleep in the banks 48 hours.  ICBN focus on expansion, When last did first bank built branches. I think you people should give credit to akingbola, ovie and others.  Old bank are just coming back from the old label. It would take time to erase this from the minds of nigerian.

On saraki issue, I just do not see any connection between saraki and akingbola. There is no connection. The newspaper made up the story, and that newspaper have credibility problem in the first place. It is more political.

Ibime where is your source for that figure.  And show us the value of all other bank at feb 2007. This is the only way we would know.

I get the feeling this all story is the work of 419. You see, if I am correct. SGBN BANK already went under in 2003 before bank merge. So this story from a nigeria paper has lies in it. It looks like they are making up some of the story.
