So Balewa /Azikiwe held referendum for Midwest but deliberately refused to hold the referendum meant to return Kwara back to the West and the one for the Middlebelt and the one for the Eastern Minorities because their Aim was to Weaken the West and Awolowo politically

first of all there was no kwara in 1960. There was ilorin province which was part of the Northern region since before zik was born.
Second the fact that zik was president, doesn't mean he was head of government and can actively change policies of Balewa.
3rdly zik is one man. In what way does one man get his wishes over many?

I have finished watching.

My opinion is this;
This video made me emotional. We were really in the dark ages just 80 years ago as a people.
Just imagine if Nigeria was like this in 1948, how it was in 1900. Believe it or not, the whites helped bring us out of ignorance within a short period of time.

After watching this video, you may appreciate how far we have come as a country. The amount of infrastructure and progress we have added to this Nation since this video was taken should never be taken for granted.

And regardless of your opinion about Tinubu, Buhari, GEJ and Obasanjo, please never call for the military to take over. Appreciate your democracy and don't take it for granted. That was the intention of our founding fathers; that we become a democratic, educated federation!
