Everyone, please be very vigilant especially if you have gotten a decision but it's taking longer than usual to get your passport back. I know they will tell you to wait 10 working days after getting decision before you will get your passport but THAT IS NOT NORMAL! We all know it doesn't take that long to get your passport back. People that get a decision on the 13th working day usually get collection mail on the 15th working day.

Today made it 10 working days after decision/brp letter and I hadn't gotten my passport. I called British High Commission Abuja customer care and the staff that took my details called my mobile line later that night and was demanding 50k before he could track my passport for me. I did my bio since the first week of August so, the past 8 weeks have been from one battle to another. Luckily, my friend told me yesterday that she had a family friend in BHC so I quickly gave her my details. The feedback I got was that my passport had basically been abandoned! UKVI didn't even bother to inform BHC to print my visa. It was my friend's family friend that sent an email to UKVI and they finally approved it that same yesterday. My visa was printed and was dispatched by DHL today!!! Due to their negligence, I have already missed a lot in school and I will still miss classes of next week and a bit of upper week because one-way flight tickets for this coming week are showing 2M and above.

All I'm saying is that be vigilant! It's not normal for our passports to just be sitting in BHC office collecting dust. Infact, if it's taking longer than 3 days after decision, start sending emails and blasting them with calls. BHC o, UKVI o, all of them are incompetent!!!

Please I entered application for of my 3 Dependents kids, on the 8th they went for biometrics. I got passport collection mail for 2 of them on the 15th and brp letters for them on the 17th.I inquired about the outstanding application on the 18th, response was "awaiting decision".
On the 20th I got brp letter for the outstanding application but the application is still at DMC.

Did paid mail on 23rd regarding the application, response was that decision made and I would contact by VAC when passport is ready for collection. Please what else can I do? To have the application moved to VAC?

Hello Team,
1 of my dependant's application is still at DMC after receiving decision since 20th May. UKVI said they have escalated and I should wait 15 working days which will elapse this week. Any suggestions or idea on what to do next? I feel this application has been skipped.

God morning house, please on immigration compliance form from my school, I stated that I have been refused visa to the Uk and USA and now in the schools forum on Facebook, one of the user introduced me to the schools representative in Nigeria and he is telling me now that I might not get my CAS after I have paid my deposit. He said I should have stated in the school form that I have not been refused a visa before. I am feeling bad and sad now. I haven’t heard from the university of sunderland. Please anyone here who has been refused visa to the us and Uk before who got their CAS after stating it? Please reply.

Mine was US and Canadian refusal I still got CAS.

It guess it was assisted service your opted for your biometric? This is because I learnt that there is no need for POF if one has uploaded it during visa application. Could you please shed more light on the principles behind POF and Biometric?

I did assisted service during biometrics. POF aren't uploaded during visa application but at TLS either self service or assisted service.

Yes I declared both and the reason for denial.

Background;
US student visa refusal X 2(2008/2009)
Canadian visa refusal X 3 (2020 alone)

I almost given up on any thing about yanky runs. Sometimes in March 2022 I spoke with a bosom friend that told me he has 6 offer of admissions from 6 different schools in the UK, I asked how manage? He said he used educational agents to apply and he did not give a dime. I become interested instanta ( because me no dey give shi shi) I requested the contact of the educational agent and I messaged her almost immediately. She request for my Bsc, CV, Transcript, Personal statement and work reference. I supplied everything almost immediately except work reference because i wanted to do everything codedly. For personal statement I modified the SOP for my Canadian visa application.
I got application notification from 3 schools on the 8th of March, Salford, UWE, Bradford. I got rejection mail from Salford and UWE because they have reached capacity. As usual I was not perturbed because I already developed thick skin for rejection. On the 5th of March, Bradford made me an offer Msc FINTECH.

PROOF OF FUND & TB TEST SENT: 29TH JUNE 2022
PRE CAS INTERVIEW: 05TH JULY 2022
CAS ISSUED: 06TH JULY 2022

DECISION MADE: 17TH AUG 2022
SENT TO VAC: 22ND AUG 2022
COLLECTION MAIL 22ND AUG 2022

Before my CAS interview my educational consultant called me not to declare my visa refusal. But at the ending part of the interview I was asked if I had previous refusal I declared all my past refusal and was issued CAS the next day.

Finally I discovered that my Statement of account would be 30 days by the time I go for biometrics on the 29th of July, so on the 26th , 3 days to my biometrics I printed another statement 29days backs(from 27th June to 26th July). When I returned back on this platform on 30th July, I then discovered that my 28days statement should count before my application date ie 10th July. I became disturbed how could I not have seen this earlier.
I tot of cancelling my application but when I remember the risk involved ( twice TB test and Biometrics) in traveling to Abuja from Kaduna, and the attack that happened in Zuba on the 28th July hours afters I passed that same spot I perished the thought immediately. That same 30th I sent a paid mail (Before DMC even received my application) requesting if I can send an updated statement but got a response that if additional documents are required I would be contacted. Gentle man and ladies, I resigned to fate and prayers. Kept following this platform daily until I came across @efosakelly write up stating that is doable that he has try it a number of times. He said this more than once, my faith came alive and behold today I have my entry permit to the UK.
