Indeed. Truth is that APC should do the democratic thing. The Party must let members democratically, and without intimidation, determine who will be their Presidential representative.

That has always been Tinubu's consistent demand. One man cannot think his own will must supercede that of literally thousands who worked to put him where he is.

Internal Party democracy and fairness is the foundation upon which all Political Parties build their house.

Damage that and damage the Party. As simple as that. Nigerian politicians may succeed rigging election concerning the voting public but they rarely succeed however powerful they are, in the history of Nigeria, when they want to cheat their own fellow Party men.

OBJ was stopped bravely by his own Senate President then, Ken Nnamani, when he wanted a third term many vowed not to let him have because that was unfair to others.

GEJ was stopped by his disgruntled PDP affiliates, to include Amaechi, Saraki etal, because he became undemocratic, bullying and unfair.

We will see how it goes. Buhari should spare us the rhetoric, lead by example, and do what is right by the majority and by democracy.

This is what Tinubu, in a principled mannner, has always demanded of Buhari despite knowing that the President he worked hard to help to power does not support his candidacy.
