I have consistedly followed dis thread 4 a long tym. May i start by saying congrats 2 all d newly recruited teachers! Though am nt a teacher,i do hav a little knowledg of civil service structure. Teachers salary structure(TSS), is quite different 4rm d normal civil service structure. At d moment,since d inception of Gov. Amaechi,rivers state teachers earn more in d federation. Its above d TSS scale. I dnt know d actual figure. I hope dis helps!

Earlier,i did say dat som on level 8 are paid salaries of junior staff wile odas re paid level 8 salary. U can find out d figure of a level 8 staff. Jst 2 help,its within d range given by johnsonphemi. May b dis wud douse som tension,after training 4 d project last year,we were told we were going 2 b recieving TAKE HOME PACKAGE. As i write,its close 2 a year notin has changed. We thot wit d glamorous training, it ll b implemented immediately. Nimc is a commission with gr8 prospects, jst dat sm persons wudnt.......u can figure it out.finaly,dats d rison i said 4 dos dat already hav smtin shudnt jst quit,luk properly b4 leaping. We re strongly hoping dat wit ur coming in2 nimc,alot wud change 4 gud. Tanx!

@ OP,cud u pls name 1 political figure in nigeria dats not guilty to looting? Mr Amaechi isnt a saint either,but pls dnt single him out because he has refused 2 support ur masters. By d way,y do we play politics of blackmail? I guess u are wiser than wat u jst did. Tanx!

Civil service,dat i tink u do ur assignment by finding out d package 4 level 8 in civil service. Pls,try 2 bear wit me,u dnt xpect i spill out evry evry considerin our landscape. I tink dos concerned can wok sumthin out witin d framework hav given. @ Dafe, were u informed dat some states hav started d project. Can i inform u dat i hav my NiN already? So,dnt tink d project is yet 2 commence. Dis is a public forum, am restraining myself nt 2 get into figures. Are u aware dat 29 sept.2011, #30.6 billion was approvd 4 d front end,wic was supposed 2 b complete dec.2013. n 1/3 has bin released. I sincerely hope hav bin able 2 clear som doubts,pls,did i leave smtins out?

And y do u tink d salary structure has nt bin approved. Salary is sumthin fixed,project or nt wud nt increase nor reduce it.pls b reliably informed b/4 jumping into issues u r nt aware of. Dear friends,pls none shud b dscouraged at dis stage. My advice is mainly 2 those dat have smtin doing at d moment,dnt jst quit ur job, B sure 2 nt only secure d job bt dat u can fit into nimc's condition of service.

Actually,am nt on level 8,so i wudnt rily kw d pay. Rite nw there re jst a few junior staff,bt d annoyin part is dos converted 2 level 8 are still bin paid as junior staff. We re hoping dat wit dis new recruitment nimc wil deliver her numeros promises 2 her staff. We re luking 4wad 2 recieving u guys with utmost joy.

Nimc is a commission under d presidency bt directly under d office of d secretary 2 d fed. Govt.

I ll be 1 of d last persons 2 dscourage any1 on a gud course,so i cant posibly dscourage my fellow nairalanders. As a matter of fact,i luk forwad 2 seeing young,vibrant n talented minds come 2 nimc. Its unfortunate hw some persons can misjudge smones motive. Al d same,i did mentioned in my earlier post dat d motive was nt 2 dscourage any. Yes,i came in 4rm DNCR;bt am stil wit d commision. I read on dis thread hw som persons were plannin quitin their present job,it was 4 dis singular reason i commented earlier. 1ce again best wishes!

Fellow nigerians,this is a simple n candid advice to all seeking placement with nimc. Am a staff with nimc in phc. I advice all to luk at 4 nimc office in their state/lga n c tins 4 demselvs. All dat glittas isnt gold,talk wit any of d staff 2 kw hw dey feel abt their job/welfare. Pls,i didnt min 2 dscourage any1. Jst luk b/4 u leap. Wishin u all d vry best!

@deeper-danny,its nt my gospel bt d gospel of Christ. D believer isnt aiming(struggling) to make heaven like u make u luk. He's already qualified 4 it by believing in Christ. God isnt jst interested in saving sinners but 2 bring his children into sonship. Infact if u study d scriptures closely u'd realise dat Jesus actually came to raise Sons unto God. I advice u dnt front heaven in all ur delibratns but Christlikeness.

@deeper-danny, sorry,i didnt state anywhere dat i had problems with d church. Dont go by presumptns rather by facts. May be for ur consumption, i served d present National Overseer of Uganda.(pst. Edison Daminabo,gr8 n humble servant of God).and when d Holy Spirit said leave i did. Dont assume dat every1 who left Dl did because of smkind of issues.If u believe in d ministry of d Holy Spirit which i assume u do,u shud undastand what i mean. Again, for d believer,d bible teaches dat d ultimate target isnt heaven but Christlikeness-growing into d fullness of Christ.

It appears majority of d deeper lifers on dis thread are those dat joined d church btw yr 2K n now. They virtualy kws little abt d church. U argue on some stuffs u are nt sure abt. There's notin wrong in askin ur pastors some doctrinal issues. Pls,dnt come up here n vent ur ignorance of d church doctrines as wel as scriptures.tanx!
