OK. Thanks.

ekpotek:
Including local transport fare and meals. You cannot spend more 60 pounds per day. So for 6 days will amount to 360 pounds.

TravelRe: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Believe13: 8:02am On Jul 01, 2017
Go ahead and apply to US, it does not affect. I know someone who was also banned for 5yrs but US gave him 2yrs. US is more straight forward ,all they want is honest. Just make sure you explain your job role very well. Best of luck.

justolusola:
Can anyone help... if someone is ban in canada for 5yrs, can such person apply for us visa.
Hope d canada ban wont have any effect on d US visa application now.

The 5yrs ban was because he said NO, when ask if he has been refuse visa in US before. And, he reply canada embassy when asked for additional infor, yet he was still ban.

Pls if i want to apply for me and my daughter ,will I fill separate forms?
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Believe13: 4:17pm On Jun 27, 2017
She has sent the june utility bill, passport data page, phone number and address on invitation letter.

Pls note, last time it wasn't signed and I submitted like that.

ekpotek:
The invitation letter must be signed and addressed to the Entrance Clearance Officer (ECO). She should also disclose her telephone number and email address. If you plan to stay with her, then she must send you a copy of her current utility bill as proof of address, passport data page.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Believe13: 1:17pm On Jun 27, 2017
@nairacountry and ekpotek, thanks alot for your advice.appreciate!

the invitation letter is not signed will it have any effect? cos she asked me to prefered the letter sent it to my aunt via mail for her to check . said is ok .

ekpotek:
Yes she stand a better chance if she do the U.K application as a family.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Believe13: 6:52pm On Jun 26, 2017
thanks.

been to only dubia about 4yrs ago. been working for about 8yrs now. first 6yrs was with a company . gratuity from first company though not up to 1m but above 500k.been saving up since last year for a vacation. its not lump sum.

ekpotek:
Salary - Average
Family ties - good
Bank balance - good (you will need to explain how you saved such a huge balance with a salary of just 200K
Intention in the UK- This is where the issues lies, the ECO while be surprise that you're not vacationing with your family.

If you have good travel history, the ECO may over looked this. You need to have a strong reason why you're leaving your child behind. My opinion is hUng your UK visa application on premise that you are vacationing with your family to the US, and you which to stop over in the UK to visit your aunt whom you have not seen for a very long time. This way you can actually apply together with your husband and kid, where having a US visa will be taking into consideration.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Believe13: 12:58pm On Jun 26, 2017
Thanks for your response ekpotek.

salary 200k
married with a child.
bank balance 1.7m
invitation from my aunt same person 4years ago.(invitation is not signed )
traveling alone for holidays.

ekpotek:
Having a US visa does not conferred any advantages for a U.K. visa because the two countries operate different systems of evaluating an applicant. In fact a Scenghen visa is more stronger than a US visa for U.K application. Having said that, your success will depend on the intention of your visit and supporting documents. With a previous UK visa refusals, you need to really package your application to avoid another refusal. That means, your job, income, bank balance and family ties in Nigeria and the U.K. will be the deciding factors. Good luck.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Believe13: 10:55am On Jun 26, 2017
@nairacountry
Am going to the US with my family but UK alone. Have always wanted to visit UK so my husband decided that a give it a try again after 4yrs of taking a break.

Note: have only applied once and was denied back then . reason was finance . salary poor. 48k then but have commission from sales .( statement of account was 800k) not lump sums built it over time. Was engaged then and the same was stated in my application.

Reason for denial: basically because of my salary that other income was based on commission and that I might not return . I even added my wedding IV card and that was also going for shopping. But VO officer thought otherwise.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Believe13: 10:11am On Jun 26, 2017
Thanks for the advice.
My husband is not interested in the UK. So I want to visit the UK for like 8days ,don't think I will to stay 2weeks anymore cos after I return ,will be travelling to US. Am going alone. I have more people in the UK(friends and family) than US and to be honest prefer UK to US. Though never been there. Lol!

nairacountry:
My advice to you will be, use your US visa, then come back and applied to UK with your family.

TravelRe: U.S. Non-immigrant Visas: We’re Listening by Believe13: 12:55pm On Jun 19, 2017
Thanks a lot VO,

However, my husband told me yesterday that he made error in his parents date of birth and also error in the date of resumption from one of his previous work .

I actually advised that he filled another form which he did, Have even sent a mail to lagosniv@State.gov of the New confirmation number.

My question now, is it possible to update it on my profile? cos that's what we are using. Or what is your advise . our interview is this week.

Thank you.

abujaniv:
Hello Believe13. If it is important to you to communicate your work history, do so at the interview.
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by Believe13: 7:50pm On Jun 18, 2017

TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by Believe13: 7:19pm On Jun 18, 2017
Thanks a lot. was a bit confused.
shrekandfiona:
The form is gender specific. For females, no past work experience is asked. Just your current. For males, its different.
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by Believe13: 5:05pm On Jun 18, 2017
Good day house, I filled my ds160 form but previous work experience page didn't come up. Did it 3 times same thing. But my husband was able to complete same.

The page didn't come up on my daughters guess because she is a child.

Your advise will be appreciated.
TravelRe: U.S. Non-immigrant Visas: We’re Listening by Believe13: 3:51pm On Jun 18, 2017
Hello VO, was able to convince my husband to go on this trip with me . He has 2weeks leave now same time with mine.

My question is ,while completing my ds160 form, the section for previous work experience didn't come up .I had to do it 3 times same thing only present work status i was able to fill even when filling my daughters own,it didn't come up though she is a child(2yrs old). Just got tired and applied like that. But my husband was able to complete his.

Pls note, my interview along with my family is nextweek.
Your kind advice will be appreciated.

Thanks a lot for always attending to our question.
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by Believe13: 2:46am On Mar 29, 2017
OK. Thanks

LadyGuinivere:
Nobody can predict chances. PLEASE sister, stop asking that.
What you can do however is go through the thread and read transcripts. And create your probability based on that.
Married women have applied alone.
Married women have applied with their kids
Married women have applied with husbands and kids.
Some have been denied, some refused. Everything boils down to how prepared you are and how you convince the VO. Stop asking for 'prepared answers'. Why isn't your husband going with you? That's a question personal to your family. Tell the vo exactly that. Don't copy.
Take for example, my husband may decide not to travel with me cos he has a music competetion same time I want to travel. That's pretty specific to my home, you can't copy that reason can you?
Take time out, read. Be familiar with the Frequently asked questions. Be prepared with honest answers. Pick up tips from here and your chances increase
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by Believe13: 10:19pm On Mar 28, 2017
Further to the above.

I was thinking if my husband is not going with me that's enough reason I will be coming back. I don't intend to stay , highest two weeks.

Thanks omobendel
TravelRe: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by Believe13: 10:13pm On Mar 28, 2017
I want to apply for me and my child. But was told if you are going with your husband to tue embassy your chances of getting the visa is high.

Pls I just need your advice which is better ,if I should convince my husband to apply too.

Thanks in anticipation of your response.

OmoBendel24:
Whew!!! Chances aren't ever clear cut.... Loads of indices and variables come to play in even attempting such. Well, outside the stated, what do you think would go for you and what could also go against you? Just talk to us generally sha, particularly as regards why you think you MAY be qualified for a visa. Regards
