Christianity EtcRe: Shiloh 2011 "waves Of Glory" by believeme1(m): 5:33pm On Nov 30, 2011
Thanks Poster,

Every one ought to know that Shiloh 2011 is a divinely ordained event through which God's people (and those willing to become God's people) will experience fulfilment of the promises they've been waiting for. When you meet with God you're sure to come away with bountiful benefits far beyond your expectation. Because God's presence is going to be powerful at this event (as witnessed at past editions) you can take for granted that it will be loaded with unusual miracles and answers to prayer. Your case should not be an exception as God has no favorites, He will reach you as long as you position yourself to be reached. In order to maximize your experience, I advise that you come prepared, expectant and focused, not just as an observer- there'll be a lot to observe there- and you'll not miss your portion.

See you there.
Certification And Training AdvertsRe: Where To Do Tutorial For My Icsan Exam by believeme1(m): 12:21pm On Sep 29, 2010
Tee-Tea, you probably have your answer already, but just in case you don't, you can take tutorials at Icsan's office at Elephant Cement Way, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. You'll also get information on registration, deadlines, fees etc. One of their staff gave me this number 08028425643, you can call for enquiries.

All the best.

BusinessRe: Is Moi-moi Healthy? All Ideas And Suggestions Are Welcome by believeme1(m): 1:19pm On Jun 15, 2010
You bet!

If its the same moi-moi I eat, made from beans, which is a low GI, protein rich, leguminous veg, with lots of healthy ingredients (usually) like tomatoes, pepper, palm oil, fish, crayfish, eggs and more.

I think its very very healthy. And usually very tasty too.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Bans Pregnant Women From Riding Okada by believeme1(op): 12:26pm On Jun 15, 2010
I wish we could someday have proper licensing and scrutiny of okada riders. Drunk riding, overspeeding and unroadworthy bikes is rampant.

Till then, shine your eye before mounting these things so you can arrive alive.

meggieblac:
hope they will also provide maternity cabs for them. It's an ok move but cant they just simply ban all bikes?
That would be great, but how about when you need to get somewhere fast and beat traffic, or in (remote) areas where there buses dont come close to your destination, for some of us who dont have cars?

I think okadas are a neccessary evil. We just need to exercise a lot of caution with them.
PoliticsLagos Bans Pregnant Women From Riding Okada by believeme1(op): 8:58am On Jun 15, 2010
The Lagos State Government has said that no motorcycle operator (Okada) should carry any visibly pregnant woman or school aged children or women with babies strapped at their backs.

To this end, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Mr. Kayode Opeifa, at Alausa, Ikeja, said yesterday that with effect from Thursday, July 1, 2010, the Government would commence the full enforcement of all road traffic laws and regulations guiding Okada operation in the state.

Nairalanders whats your take on this?

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone done ICSAN exams? Please you're the one I'm looking for.
Please I'd like to do ICSA exams next year but I want to get materials to begin reading from now.
I'd be really grateful to be allowed to photocopy your course materials, if you've done the exam in the past.
And I'm ready to compensate you.
Thanks.

CareerRe: How To Combine Effectively Home And Career Development In This Lagos by believeme1(m): 2:20pm On May 14, 2010
1st class, thats great Melody! Whats your field?

I'm sure you're sincere about wanting to combine career & home, but experience has shown that
one will usually be sacrificed for the other, maybe not an entire sacrifice but a sacrifice all the same.

Still you need to go for your dream so you don't die unfulfilled.
CareerRe: Besides Icsa And Arbitrators' Exams by believeme1(m): 3:29pm On May 06, 2010
Hi Letstalk, you probably have got what you asked about by now but we can still talk about it for the benefit of others.
Below are some professional associations I'm interested in joining and I guess they'll be helpful for you and any other lawyer.
(I'm a lawyer by the way) CITN and ICSAN require exams but the rest only require registration to join.

1. CITN – Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria
2. IBA – International Bar Association
3. AIPN – Association of International Petroleum Negotiators
4. INTA – International Trademarks Association
5. ICSAN – Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria
6. CLA – Commonwealth Lawyers Association

Let me know if you know of any others.

Cheers.
