I want to buy a car diagnostic tool so that I can rpair my car by myself . I was wondering what the Porsche 911 Cabrio (the last three models-the 996, the 997 and the current one) is like to drive. The reason I ask is because the wisest man in motoring-Jeremy Clarkson-has always insisted that taking the roof of the 911 ruins the car, as it is designed as a coupe and then has the roof taken off, as opposed to being redesigned as a convertible (which he also says about the Aston Martin DB9 Volante and the BMW M3 Convertible). However, I know that a number of other motoring journalists, Richard Hammond included, say that the 911 Cabrio is just as good as the coupe. I was wondering, just out of curiosity, who is right. 1994 Toyota Pickup truck has rust on the frame near the back of the cab on both passenger and drivers side. There is a repair on the passenger outer side of the frame, but the inside is now rotting, and there is about 1inch diameter hole where it has rusted through. Is this something that a body shop could repair? Also, I know about the "campaign" to replace or repair 95-00 tacomas because of the frame rot, and called the dealer today. They didnt mention anything about me having to pay for a repair if the truck frame is rusted. I dont know if they are including 1994 pickups in this campaign. Currently most FORD's are as close to their EUROPEAN relatives as is possible from governmental constraints! The ECO-boost engines are EUROPEAN based and so very much like AUDI ENGINES from 2000! THey are usin gmore and more EUROPEAN steering angles and dimesions than ever before! Tehy are TRUE AUTOBAHN ready cars that can do what most BMW's can do! BUT THEY HAVE LIMITATIONS! THey are NOT as fuel efficeint as they could be and are VERY VERY heavy! SAFETY is the first concern, and FORD wins there!
