I was wondering what the Porsche 911 Cabrio (the last three models-the 996, the 997 and the current one) is like to drive. The reason I ask is because the wisest man in motoring-Jeremy Clarkson-has always insisted that taking the roof of the 911 ruins the car, as it is designed as a coupe and then has the roof taken off, as opposed to being redesigned as a convertible (which he also says about the Aston Martin DB9 Volante and the BMW M3 Convertible). However, I know that a number of other motoring journalists, Richard Hammond included, say that the 911 Cabrio is just as good as the coupe. I was wondering, just out of curiosity, who is right.
