dhope:check ur mail, you'd see a congratulatory mail from sure-p. From the mail, you'd be requested to download and print that email, the enployer's confirmation form and the account opening form(the forms u will see in ur gis profile). Take d printed forms to ur employer to countersign and scan to sure-p. Note: these forms are d same with the ones u filled at the fair, only difference is this ones have been automatically filled online. U only need to print dem,ur details are there already. And u have 14 days to finish d process or kiss it gudbye. I just did mine. |
People can be stupid sha. So, just because ur area doesn't have light, probably because of faulty transformer or vandalized power equipment, u now want to generalize it abi?. I stay at fadeyi estate osogbo, and we've had constant light for weeks. Truth |

pls I want to know, what if I don't finish my sub b4 expiration. if I do another sub, will the unused, expired data bundle roll over to the new sub? |
Chiwude:I'd rather u address the issue I raised if actually u have something to say than jump over to 2015 elections. Tell your oga rochas to go and settle the staff of imo palm company, pay dem their backlog of salary arrears, severance package and other accrued debts. 3.2bn is too big to pocket. |
xtianh:trust me I've tried that b4. I think it's time for u praise singers and sycophants to open up to ur pay master, tell him the simple truth, he has failed woefully by refusing to pay the staff of imo palm their due honorarium. Posterity will never 4give him if he doesn't change. |
By Johnkennedy Uzoma Owerri — Workers of Adapalm, now Imo Palm Plantation, have staged a protest over 21 months' unpaid salaries. The company is located at Ohaji in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State. Our correspondent reports that the workers marched through the streets to the Government House to register their grievances, but nobody attended to them. Addressing newsmen, leader of the protest and South-east zonal coordinator of Agriculture and Allied Employees Union of Nigeria, Comrade Rowland Akpata, expressed regrets that the governor and management of the company have refused to pay the workers. Apkata flayed the government for abandoning the memo-randum of understanding earlier signed with staff of the company. He pleaded with Governor Rochas Okorocha and Roche Company, which is managing the oil palm, to address the situation. The protesters also visited the Imo State House of Assembly, where the leadership pledged to set up a committee to look into the matter. |
Following incessant reports and complaints against Roche Group of Companies, the Imo State House of Assembly has launched an investigation into the activities of the company in the last three years in the state. This came after hundreds of the workers of Imo Palm Plantation (Adapalm) besieged the state government house as well as the assembly complex in Owerri in protest against 21 months salary arrears and the inhuman treatment meted to them by Roche, which leads the management of the company. Roche is a company brought in the state by Governor Rochas Okorocha immediately after he became the governor of the state in 2011 with the company becoming a dominant contractor handling several meaningful projects in the state as well as the government leasing the multi-million naira Adapalm Oil Mill to the company for 20 years at an amount said to be N3.2billion. But in a call by the member representing Isiala Mbano State constituency, Simeon Iwunze, the Assembly unanimously authorized a four-man committee led by member for Ikeduru, Samuel Anyanwu to investigate the activities of the company for which the legislature had received several reports while some members of the assembly had been insulted as a result of the company’s actions and inactions. Iwunze had recalled how the protesting workers of Adapalm booed the member for Ohaji Egbema, Luke Chukwu, during their protest in the assembly complex, describing the act by the protesting workers as an insult to all the members of the legislature. During the protest that extended to the state government house, the protesting workers alleged that they were owed 21 months salary arrears. They accused the Okorocha –led government of intentionally harming the staff with the handing over of the company to Roche. The workers carried placards with inscriptions: “where is N3.2 billion from Roche?”, “we need our 21 months arrears in Adapalm”, “Owelle, are we not Imolites”, “Okorocha is owing us, pay us our severance packages in Adapalm”,etc. Speaking with journalists, the spokesman of the protesting workers, Rowlands Akpata, accused the governor and Roche group of refusing to pay the workers who had laboured for two years. He said that government and Roche were owing the staff three months arrears of salaries, 21 months arrears and severance and other benefits. He called on the governor to hasten to pay them before they would all die of hunger. |
Please you people should help me ask rochas okorocha what he did with the 2.3bn he collected from Roche group for the lease of imo-palm plantation(formerly adapalm). Ask him why that company which is a self-sustained agro allied company and the only agro-allied company in imo state is at the verge of closure and shut down, and their staff owed a whooping 2 years salary arrears. Until he provides a answers to this questions, there would be no space for him at the Douglas house come 2015. Don't be deceived rochas is a big scam |

lakpalakpa: No, the aim of the thread is to awaken the consciousness of the Good people of Abia State and help them see the need to kick out PDP so as to enjoy good governance like the people of Imo State are enjoying..SHUT that dirty thing u call mouth. who told u that IMO ppl r enjoying good governance? if by good governance u mean some white elephant projects, uncompleted roundabouts,1-2km uncompleted linkage roads, then u know nothing about good governance hence I suggest u SHUT ur mouth whenever such issue is being discussed. FYI Imo state presently have no industry that can even absorb up to 1k workers. even as I write this post the only and highest labour employer company in the state-Adapalm is down, IMO Concorde hotel in locked up,ITC staff are agitating. maybe u should ask ur almighty rochas what happened to the money he got from d sale/ lease of these companies, and y they r not functioning and their workers agitating/revolting. don't be deceived o,nothing is happening IMO state except construction of roundabouts.#FACT |
