Briefing journalist in Abuja, the spokesman of the service, Nnochirionye Afunanya said the service can not allow Sowore go without its administrative procedure.

He admitted that though the court order was received by the service but no body has come to undergo the said administrative procedure for him to be released.

Afunanya sighted an instance of Nnandi KANU. He said Kanu was released without the procedure and is now at large and no one to be held responsible. He added that the service has no doubt to maintain its stand to protecting the nation and Nigerians.

He maintained that the secret police was following administrative procedures by insisting that Sowore’s sureties come forward for proper documentation.

The DSS, however, said it will release Sowore if his sureties come forward for documentation.

The convoy of the Oba of Lagos and Governor Obaseki was yesterday attacked at the gates of Adams Oshiomhole's house at Iyamho, Edo State

The Oba of Lagos attended the Edo University. Iyamho maiden graduation ceremony which Gov. Obaseki and Oshiomhole also attended.

The invitees proceeded to the house of Oshiomhole after
the ceremony on his invitation but were blocked by irate
youths at the APC National chairman premises. The youths reportedly became angry after siting Gov. Obseki's CSO, Mommoh who allegedly led the attack on Oshiomhole's residece in Benin City.

Recall, there's been some sort of political tension between Gov. Obaseki and Oshiomhole over the re-election bid of the sitting governor which had led to violence.

Both camps continue to trade blames over the incident as press secretary to the APC Chairman blamed the deputy governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu for instigating the embarrassing incident.

The state government through the lands, survey and urban planning ministry had issued Tony Kabaka a 7 day notice to remove his building on government land or face demolition

The Embattled Edo Peoples' Member (EPM, a sub Edo APC group) member attributed his reaction to anger and went further to beg the governor for forgiveness.

Tony Kabaka still insists his property was not built on government land as he proves it with survey documents.

Tony Kabaka was issued a 7 day notice by Edo State Ministry of Urban Planning to remove his property at Ugbor Village, Benin City, Edo State for illegal occupation on government land. The Ex Revenue collector went on facebook to protest this development.

Recall He is an outspoken member of the Oshiomhole backed faction of Edo APC, EPM that want to unseat the Edo Governor.

Kabaka has continually blamed the Edo governor for using and dumping them, taking away their revenue collection job and they won't support his second term bid.
